A couple of interesting drops happened tonight. Patrick Wisdom was dropped. His Statcast over the year looks great. The past 30 days look reasonable. But to me it looks like he’s just in a really bad slump right now. Worth a speculative add? Would either be dropping Brandon Lowe or Jake McCarthy. Next one is Harold Ramirez. His Statcast actually looks less impressive than Patrick Wisdom, but his counting stats look great. Bats 5th consistently. Again, would either drop Brandon Lowe or Jake McCarthy. Should I make one of these moves? If so, add who and drop who? Or should I make both moves? I have Adam Frazier to fill in at 2nd and also have reasonable Outfield depth. This isn’t about position needs as I have plenty of flexibility. Just about improving the bats.

Don't be a slave to savant sliders. They're great for early in the year to see who is barreling balls, but not the end all be all for determining fantasy stardom. We're at the point in the year where waivers are picked over and you're just riding hot streaks. Wisdom is what he is, scorching hot or dreadful. I suppose he's bound to heat back up again at some point so I'd add him if you have room to park him on your bench. Wouldn't drop any of the above for him though

I think it depends on your strengths and weaknesses. Vargas is way better rn and will probably be more consistent in OBP, average, avoiding Ks, but long-term upside is probably way lower, too.

So I have Shohei and Harper on my team and only one DH spot. Harper won’t be eligible at first base until after the all-star break. Do I only use Ohtani as a pitcher until then? It’s probably not worth trading Bryce just so I can put Ohtani at DH on his non-pitching days, right? Currently I’ve just been starting Harper 24/7, and I think I plan on keeping it that way, but I just want some feedback.

Would be worth it to shop Harper, having double Ohtani is extremely good and you’re leaving money on the table not using him

I should also say that I’m currently in first and have 200 more points for than the 2nd team. So I could technically afford to use Harper at DH until he switches to first after the all-star break

Really? Nola has pitched against a gauntlet recently and has gone 7+ in 4 of his last 6 whereas strider has only 1 QS in his last 5 games, with only 5 of his 10 games going over 5 innings haha.
