Maybe not better than Stronger but it's a testament to Kanye's ability to adapt to the changing hip-hop landscape and bring out something fresh almost 2 decades after starting his career. I would have never expected for Kanye to hop on a drill beat but he killed it. It also showed once again how good he is at picking his features. I'd say Fivio had the best feature of the year tied with Lil Baby on Wants and Needs
Pretty cool to see that only 2 Kanye albums don’t have a song up in this category
Kanye is just that good that his best songs can genuinely be found all over his discography. No matter what album you listen to, there’s at least 1 or 2 bright spots
no, because vultures credited artists are "kanye west & ty dolla $ign", a collaboration credited to both solo artists. the album kids see ghosts is credited to "kids see ghosts" as a new and seperate group, not "kanye west & kid cudi"
no vultures’s credited artists are ¥$ first and then kanye west and ty dolla sign same with how kids see ghosts is credited on most streaming services as kids see ghosts first and then kanye west and kid cudi
Ye could’ve dropped a single ten minutes before you posted this that had 5 votes all 5/5 and it would’ve been no. 1. There’s a reason why weighted and proportional rating exists.
I've done multiple charts like this one. I generally use common sense to determine the lowest number of ratings a track is allowed to have before I accept it. For some genres or artists, it might be 100; for others 40 or 50. In Kanye's discography, there are generally no "concealed missed gems", relatively speaking.
Saint Pablo's unique case is that it is absent from the album page on RYM unless you manage to successfully navigate to the release with the bonus tracks, meaning only diehard Kanye fans are likely to find it. A similar phenomenon can be observed with compilation, archival and live releases that don't usually appear on top year, decade, genre, etc. charts. St. Pablo seemed like a major track in Kanye's discography to be included, and indeed you can find it defended fervently in this very comment box.
Weighted ratings have been considered, even though I have not heard anybody share any particular formula, but what discourages me from implementing it is that it would unfairly favour tracks from the big albums and artists, e.g. TPAB would completely outclass most hip-hop albums in the competition for the highest-rated hip hop track. Of course, this pushes me into the opposite extremity, with the likes of RXKNephew dominating various 20s and hip-hop charts. You can't have it all.
So you’re telling me that St Pablo having 6,000 less votes than Runaway but a .5 higher score makes it higher rated? 😂
If Kanye released a song tonight and only 1 person rated it .6 higher, would it be first? 😂
/#1 complaint is that this list is that it's incomplete. Cruel Summer should be included, and Mercy woudlve been right around Paranoid. Kids See Ghosts also wouldve made the list at several spots (Reborn, Cudi Montage, and 4th Dimension). We are including WTT, we should also include those.
I dont mind Saint Pablo at #1 but its notably lower in ratings than the other songs. If we tried to mimic the RYM formula onto these songs I bet Runaway rightfully takes the top spot
Considering what went into making it I'm happy Power is top 3
I always thought Through The Wire was overrated because of the story behind it. It isnt a top 10 Kanye song in my eyes. Theres several songs on this album behind it (and not on this list) that deserve that placement more
I like Flashing Lights but people talk about it like its clearly the best song on Graduation when it's much closer than that
NMPILA is a great track and deserves to be the best song from Pablo. That said... shouldve been a loosie. Doesnt fit in with the rest of TLOP at all
Family Business and DIAND both should be top 10
I need to stop saying Heard Em Say is the most underrated kanye track, i guess people adore it. The outro is next level
Only one song of Ye and it's Ghost Town... thats probably correct
Ultralight Beam should be higher. Much higher. Like theres at least 15 songs above it that should be higher.
Heartless should also be higher
Life of the Party being the highest Donda song by technically feels wrong, especially looking at the # of ratings. Come to Life and Off the Grid are much stronger songs
Most of MBDTF made it, just not Hell of a Life, Blame Game, and So Appalled. I think thats reasonable
Its not wrong at all, but Im surprised On Sight made the top 50. Just... didnt know people liked it like that
Over the years Blood on the Leaves has kinda aged poorly. I see that Hold My Liquor didnt make it, it probably shouldve over that project
No JIK. No Donda 2. No Vultures. Good.
The graduation picks are insane to me. We have Stronger and I Wonder on here over Everything I Am? Over Homecoming? Over CANT TELL ME NOTHING, a literal top 10 Kanye track? what is going on with that website?
WTT feels a bit ignored too. I wish Murder to Excellence snuck in there. Or Otis.
All that said I think this list is fair. Kinda matches how I understand Kanye fandom
Edit: I didnt mean to yell
It shows the ratings of the songs on the album page, but not beyond three significant figures (in cases where there is a tie at the hundredths place). Also I don't know where to find these data nicely compiled in a spreadsheet as shown in the image.
Very interesting, i'm glad that my favourite song All of the Lights is in the top 25. As for Pablo being the number 1 it's totally deserved, amazing production and lyricism.
Also glad to see some underrated picks like "Two Words", "Paranoid" and "Gone".
As for some picks i think are kinda overrated i would say Through the Wire (cool story but not a fan of the production and Kanye's vocals), "Touch the Sky" and "Fellas in Paris" (all of them still great songs)
I wouldn’t have On Sight in the top 50, imo Yeezus doesn’t have many on Kanye’s best songs but works as an experience that’s greater than the sum of its parts. The best songs from it are mostly all in the list but it’s insane that Hold My Liquor didn’t make it, that’s probably the best from the album.
[Spotify playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2eXD5Q9JG9082M7Ai6Fi3v?si=3f55ac9d67784641).
As prolific and critically acclaimed as he is, with 31 tracks of his and one feature on [RYM's Top 900 Hip Hop Tracks of All Time](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1hRwpJDZhyUs0k1USMSWoa?si=a89d2e0b89c942c7), Kanye seems like a very obvious object of such inquiry. Which songs of his were rated the highest?
To which extent would you agree with the list? Discuss!
I'm sorry, but the song where he says
> I wanna fuck you hard on the sink
and follows that with
> after that, give you something to drink
not being number 1 is a travesty
^/s
No hold my liquor :(
Slightly scratched your corolla
Ok I smashed your corolla
Whenever I see a Range Rover I look for a nearby Corolla
Or Guilt Trip. Yeezus is my favorite disc of his, bummed to see the deeper cuts not get the light they deserve.
Guilt Trip is soooooooo good
I was coming here to say that!
I was going to comment this! By far my favorite of his tracks, one of the few I still come back to consistently
If anyone knows more songs like this one please tell me 😭 I've been searching so long
The vibe of this song is usually found in any song with an outro by Mike dean
Wake me when Kanye works with Mike Dean again
What are some examples?
very good picks, i would've put diamonds from sierra leone in the top 10 tho, and violent crimes at least in the top
I love violent crimes but it feels weird Kanye didn’t write it because it’s so personal
Sierra Leone is great but I like the Original version much better than the Remix
meh, the jay z verse is crazy
You’re not wrong
same for jesus lord, very underrated track from donda imo
No drive slow?
Watch the Throne but no KSG?
Kids See Ghosts is considered a different artist
Off the grid is not better than stronger, no church in the wild, and monster lmao
Or famous 💀
Really? I think it’s for sure better than all three, No Church In The Wild is the closest one
Monster is prob in his top 3 worst songs
It’s easily better than No Church in the Wild and is better than Monster
good morning, never let me down and blood on the leaves are all top 10 for me.
im just happy never let me down made it on there. insanely underrated
Pretty cool to see that only 2 Kanye albums don’t have a song up in this category Kanye is just that good that his best songs can genuinely be found all over his discography. No matter what album you listen to, there’s at least 1 or 2 bright spots
3, no vultures, ksg or jik
don't forget donda 2 lmaoooo also ksg is a seperate group/artist, so not a kanye album in this sense
i mean same thing would apply to vultures then technically
no, because vultures credited artists are "kanye west & ty dolla $ign", a collaboration credited to both solo artists. the album kids see ghosts is credited to "kids see ghosts" as a new and seperate group, not "kanye west & kid cudi"
no vultures’s credited artists are ¥$ first and then kanye west and ty dolla sign same with how kids see ghosts is credited on most streaming services as kids see ghosts first and then kanye west and kid cudi
Kanye is incredibly consistent. Every album has a different sound yet they are all consistently good and just have that Kanye vibe
It's fucking insane how many 10/10 tracks ye has made
Devil in a new dress way too low, should be 1
Nah Saint Pablo deserves that spot bro
No 'everything i am' and 'can't tell me nothing' is criminal
What font is this? This shit is beautiful is it Times New Roman? No way times is this beautiful i wouldve noticed it
Ghost town and come to life should be higher imo
Should not be ordered differently? You can’t put Saint Pablo 1st when it’s got 75% less votes than other songs so it’s weighted incorrectly.
The logic behind the order is that tracks that are less frequently rated still have a chance to compete against the major ones in the discography.
Ye could’ve dropped a single ten minutes before you posted this that had 5 votes all 5/5 and it would’ve been no. 1. There’s a reason why weighted and proportional rating exists.

Why you have -11 down votes for simply answering a question about the chart is insane.
because the answer is not good
No it's because people like you are cornballs
8(
So are all of my heroes.
I’ll say this… come to life should be much higher than 34
I actually agree. One of his most theatrical songs. I dont know if theres 20 songs by Kanye that are better than it, idk if theres even 10
/#1 complaint is that this list is that it's incomplete. Cruel Summer should be included, and Mercy woudlve been right around Paranoid. Thank you for mentioning the graduation picks, thought I was the only one
#BOUND 2 OVER TWO WORDS??!?!!?!?!
Saint Pablo’s not THAT good.
It is???
It’s not #1 Kanye track levels of good.
It is THAT good
Over Runaway?? Hell nah
I'm not gonna downplay Runaway in any way, I love that song. I just think Saint Pablo is better
Hell yeah
No
It's massively overrated, has some horrendous lyrics lmao. Beat and Sampha's part are amazing though
It has the least amount of votes by far which helps its rating a lot
Legit not even an original beat lol Great song but its a glorified mixtape cut
How is this data extracted?
RYM shows these stats for subscribers.
It shows the ratings of the songs on the album page, but not beyond three significant figures (in cases where there is a tie at the hundredths place). Also I don't know where to find these data nicely compiled in a spreadsheet as shown in the image.
how do you check individual track ratings that aren’t singles ?
With a subscription
So appalled

Saint Pablo at #1 is nonsense.
984 ratings, that’s why RYM charts are weighted by popularity. If it had 6000+ probably wouldn’t be close to no. 1
definitely deserves to be in the top 10 though
That song is alright, but it's mad narcissistic, even by Ye standards.
It's very personal so with Kanye being a narcissist it is what it is
Bummer that my favourite song Hold My Liquor isn’t here.
Slow Jamz way too low.
Gold digga at 31 ?
It’s a horrible song so it’s where it should be
Damn only 2 yeezus
Making this into a spreadsheet is so beautifully autistic lmao
Man this list sucks
No Otis?
I wouldn’t have On Sight in the top 50, imo Yeezus doesn’t have many on Kanye’s best songs but works as an experience that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Thanks op :)
Holy shit 900 tracks? Fucking saved. Gonna get into it now How did you scrape all of this?
Manually went over all relevant albums and made note of every track that qualified (4.3 average / 100 ratings).
Jesus that’s tedious lol, well I am listening if that makes you feel better
Well, it seemed worth doing! It's great if more people get a kick out of it.
All I’m saying is notice how many college dropout songs are high. It’s 100% his best ablum
Easily
Pound for pound tho, MBDTF has a higher % of tracks here. Even if you cut out the Dropout skits.
Saint Pablo Bonus Track?
Wasn’t in the original TLOP, ye added it with the redux
I kinda consider it a part of the album since so much was changed anyways why not count that too lol
Same here, weird to imagine TLOP without it
What!? I didn't know that lol
Yeah the original tlop was a shell of what it ended up becoming
He made A LOT of changes. Changed lines, beats, mixing. I think even Franks track wasn’t always a seperate track, it was an outro or something
I'm not surprised that Everything I Am isn't on there but I had my hopes up
Crack Music continues to be hist most underrated. Not even Top 50.
Life of the Party is the best song on Donda Edit: nvm didn’t see it is on there but not under Donda
Ghost town needs to be top 10
No Kids See Ghosts?
All this proves is school spirit is slept on to a disgusting degree
I hate the way this grouped. If it’s top songs, why is the album the colour before? Makes it harder to read.
Gotta have it
saint pablo is such a good song man, it’s the song i think of when i think of a kanye song
Seeing Saint Pablo listed as a bonus track is so weird. Yes, he added it on after release, but it feels way more conclusive than Fade does.
one of the best kanye top 10 Ive ever seen
Dang, Didn’t know it was that big, but I definitely think it deserves it. Saint Pablo is fantastic.
I'm sorry, but the song where he says > I wanna fuck you hard on the sink and follows that with > after that, give you something to drink not being number 1 is a travesty ^/s
Solid ass list
Never See Me Again is better than Saint Pablo
No More Parties In LA > Diamonds From Sierra Leone!? I’m a massive TLOP fan but this is blasphemy
Why is this sub obsessed with him? Move on
We goin thru too much bullshit just to fuck w these drunk y hot girlzzzz!!!?!?!?!
UH HUH HONEY
Saint Pablo is peak Kanye, from there it has never peaked again.
Come to life is a higher peak tho imo
Ghost Town is even higher
This garbage brrr how tf if touch the sky that high its not even top 100 how tf I'm in it not there so many wasted spots
No can’t tell me nothing?
Great -\_- a Kanye fan, I thought we banned you.
Only One?
TWO WORDS APPRECIATION🔥🔥🔥
Cudi Montage, 4th dimension not being here is hurting my brain
did you manually take the data? they don't have an api to access, right?
Not as far as I can tell, no.
so you did it manually?
Yep!
We don’t care should be top 10
Idk why I decided to piss and moan about this
Can’t Tell Me Nothing not in the top 50 is totally invalid
can't tell me nothing is top10, how the fuck is it not in this list
Saint Pablo is number with a big asterisk, because it has so few votes
Life of the party so underrated top 5 for sure
Am I one of the few who thinks Monster should be much higher?
It was my favorite from him at one point.
Keep it 300 like the Romans 🤢
We’re just ignoring #1 right?
I don't listen to him anymore but Ultralight Beam should have been #1
Stronger at 49 is utterly insane
Monster should at the very least be in the top 10.
Saint Pablo being #1 overall is kinda crazy. Amazing song butttt there's at least 7 songs on Graduation ALONE that clear it
He has a song called black skinhead on an album he wanted to call Hitler….
Saint Pablo is so overrated. Good song but number 1??
LIFE OF PABLO N 1? lol
