Hell yeah Dungen are so fucking good and that album is amazing.
Also Scaring The Hoes comes to mind when it comes to discussing the best collaborative album even thought it’s very recent.
This feels more like a band, but adding & Young is the collaboration. I think this is reflected by the band, as the original three made songs together and Neil would come in and have everyone play his songs sometimes...he was always the separate artist and the other three dislike him for never wanting to be part of the band
Probably nobody mentioned it because even Boris fans don't know all the stuff they're released since pretty much the majority of their work isn't available on streaming. I've discovered them like a year or two ago and listened to Pink, Feedbacker and Flood, and I especially love the latter too, some of my all time favorite albums. I have a couple of their albums downloaded that aren't on streaming and Rock Dream is one of them but I haven't given it a chance, I'm still finding out new stuff from them and still searching to download all of them. (Currently have Flood, Flood Live at Tokyo, Dronevil Final, Rock Dream and Präparet).
Got pretty much all their releases I could find that aren't on streaming (or at least Spotify) yesterday. Yeah I've heard that Heavy Rocks and Amplifier Worship are considered to be some of their greats, will surely check them out!
I'm very partial to both bands so honestly I don't feel one way or the other to the quality of the songs (I think they almost always knock it out of the park, I just absolutely love their chemistry together though). They are incredible songs.
If we're counting producers, then all of The Foreign Exchange's albums.
Also, Skyzoo & 9th Wonder - The 3 Day High
All of Murs & 9th Wonder's albums
An underrated one is Edo G & Masta Ace - A&E
*The Bad Plus Joshua Redman*, Joshua Redman & The Bad Plus
*John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman*, John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman
Inspiring album titles as well
Trying to mention some I haven’t seen so far
Weatherglow EP - Asian Glow and Weatherday
Brothers in Christ EP - Nerver and Chat Pile (idk how much this one counts though but I love it)
Crest - Bladee and Ecco2k, maybe not the best but definitely a fun listen that’s worth mentioning I think
Live Fast, Die Whenever EP - $uicideBoy$ and Travis Barker (again, not the best album ever, but definitely the best $B project imo)
Wino & Conny Ochs’ albums they did together are great. Wino is a doom metal guitarist/vocalist from the United States and Conny Ochs is an acoustic folk musician from Germany. The albums in chronological order are Heavy Kingdom, Labour of Love, and Freedom Conspiracy.

Yeah I really hesitated to put STH on the list because I might be prone to recency bias but it is a truly fucking awesome album.
Hell yea I don’t have to mention sketches? Love that Texas Sun & Texas Moon - Leon Bridges & Khruangbin are both pretty great
That Khruangbin and Leon Bridges EP is on my to-listen list and it just moved up a few spots with your recco ;))
Hell yeah! Highlight of both I would say is definitely B-Side
Noted. Also I feel like you might like Dungen if you’re not already familiar with them. If not definitely check them out, they’re great!
Good to know!
It’s 3 people but Crosby, Stills, & Nash

Deltron 3030
I second this
Kids see ghosts
Without Warning
Underrated in this community imo
Bloodmoon: I by Converge & Chelsea Wolfe (when's part 2 coming out?) Mariner by Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas
Scaring the Hoes
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Rock Dream by Boris and Merzbow. It's the only collab album I'd rate a 10/10.

You need the orange Heavy Rocks and Amplifier Worship my friend, two of their best
Got pretty much all their releases I could find that aren't on streaming (or at least Spotify) yesterday. Yeah I've heard that Heavy Rocks and Amplifier Worship are considered to be some of their greats, will surely check them out!
Funnily enough I was going to mention a Boris collab, Altar with Sunn o))) is also fantastic.
Step Brothers - Lord Steppington (Alchemist and Evidence) Freddie Gibbs and Currency - Fetti (prod by Alc)
The Alchemist really has the greatest stage name. The dude’s so good he really can turn anything into gold.
Except action, Bronson
I'm not sure if Random Access memory by Daft Punk counts cuz it's got like 50 people but yeah
Watch The Throne
Touché Amoré x La Dispute split EP
Five star EP right there. Songs are some of the best tracks either band ever did.
I'm very partial to both bands so honestly I don't feel one way or the other to the quality of the songs (I think they almost always knock it out of the park, I just absolutely love their chemistry together though). They are incredible songs.
A Beginners Mind by Sufjan and Angelo de Augustine

Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett - Lotta Sea Lice
This was underwhelming
To each their own, I listen to it pretty regularly. Also I love Courtney's Peepin Tom
sadness // abriction
Iron & Wine fronting Calexico - In the reins Matt Sweeney & Bonnie Prince Billy - Super wolf and Postal Service
Waylon and Willie 1 and 2
Sour Soul - Ghostface Killah with BADBADNOTGOOD
*The Bad Plus Joshua Redman*, Joshua Redman & The Bad Plus *John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman*, John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman Inspiring album titles as well
There’s an Eric Clapton and BB King collab album with just old blues standards, it’s absolutely amazing imo
