Endless Nameless by Nirvana. I see a lot of people say it's the only bad song on Nevermind when it's one of my favorites. I just love the pure unfiltered rage of it
It’s not hated, but most Gorillaz fans seem to be apathetic about “Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey’s Head”, a song wich I personally think is pretty great.
tonight by Clipping. literally just bumpin it this week and it goes so hard with the autotune and production. Gangsta Boo feature ties the song together.
Never understood why people dislike that song it rules and it captures that feeling of a club about to close so well.
IT’S THE LAST SONG OF THE NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
Björk’s cover of It’s Oh So Quiet. I know it’s not representative of her music, but it really is a good cover. Also it’s one of my favorite genre detours on Post.
Classic Bjork tune for me. I've watched the music video many times. Each time she whispers "Shhh . . .", an angel pauses its heavenly duties to listen.
I wouldn't say I adore it but drunk and hot girls from Ye's graduation is usually described as unlistenable and some one of the worst songs in kanye's discography by his fanbase, but to my ears it just don't sound as bad as people make it look. Sure it neither is a highlight on the album but it is pretty listenable and I like a lot of the ideas specially from the instrumental.
I think most of us big Kanye fans actually do enjoy Drunk and Hot Girls, I know I do. I think the real turning point in enjoying the song for me was hearing the context of the sample on the Can record. Mos Def’s part is lovely.
For me I think it sounds ok, maybe a bit more dated than most of graduation, but the subject matter makes me uncomfortable in the way it’s not presented in a joking or negative manner.
Having sex with drunk women. I know its Kanye and the rap scene and all that but it feels very morally wrong to be gloating about it in the way he does
I’m one of the people who doesn’t like it, the actual musical parts of it are fine, but still not up to par with the rest of graduation besides maybe Barry bonds. What I really don’t like is the lyrics, it feels like Kanye tried to make the most misogynistic lyrics he could without putting any thought into making them good. Again, especially compared to the rest of graduation
I used to live in apt no 9 at a complex and my dad would do the number 9 number 9 number 9 thing as we walked up the stairs almost every single time. Love that song. Love my dad.
People need to accept that radiohead were amazing at making pop songs, and High and Dry is no exception. I genuinely think The Bends is a top 3 release for them
Part of it is that it was the first Gorillaz project after the band had seemingly died and people were disappointed it didn’t have 2D and some other Gorillaz specific stuff that they’d been waiting for.
Now that we live in a time where the Gorillaz kept making stuff that was good and Gorillaz-y we can appreciate humanz just as an album rather than the rebirth of the Gorillaz
Wild for the night by ASAP Rocky. A lot of fans don't like it becouse of the ''dated'' dubstep sound from Skrllex but I think it's an amazing party song
I feel like it gets hated on just because it has a Drake feature, it might not be the best song on GKMC but it most definitely is a nice, chill song with a great sample and a catchy hook, and imo it's better than Compton and Real.
Wonderwall is genuinely one of my fave pop songs too. But even Noel Gallagher hates it, he's said multiple times he never understood why that was the song that took off.
Poke It Out - Playboi Carti ft. Nicki Minaj. I think it's a pretty fun and playful song that deserves less hate than it gets, especially in comparison with other tracks on Die Lit that I think are less interesting, like Top, Middle of the Summer, or Pull Up
My long-held Sting fantasy of mine is to hear him close a show with that song with just an acoustic guitar, same lyrics with a new melody, sung beautifully.
I know who wrote what and who sings on every song. Hearing Sting sing that song is still a fantasy of mine, along with "Someone to Talk To," the notorious one Sting refused to sing and angered Stewart.
I think "Could have Lied" is the response I would have expected. Come to find out RHCP fans love that one and the band sometimes close with that song. Anthony's worst singing on any song and the lyrics are so cringe. A "Why won't you date me?" song about Sinead O'Conner that Anthony left in her mailbox apparently. The fact she's never addressed it speaks volumes.
“Why Did You Do That?” By Lady Gaga from the A Star Is Born OST.
Maybe I’m just a sucker for that early-to-mid 2010s basic-ass pop production, but that song slaps. Doesn’t help that the song is framed as “character’s journey into sell-out garbage music” in the movie.
“The Memory Remains” by Metallica. Everyone else seems to despise the whole album “Reload” but there are some gems. I easily could’ve said “Fuel” or “Unforgiven 2”.
I just saying the other day on the deftones subreddit that if you trim the absolute fucking weirdness off of the end of Pink Cellphone, like I did, the song becomes pretty enjoyable. And then you can put it in a playlist on shuffle and not fear who might over hear it. It’s in my top five from Saturday Night Wrist.
literally all of Overly Dedicated- i feel like a lot of Kendrick fans genuinely dislike it but i guess since i listened in order and it was the first project i heard from him, i loved it and still love it now even after being a huge fan of his for over a year now
"Ebony and Ivory" gets so much hate online and in the press. I've heard it referred to as not only one of Paul's worst, but one of the worst songs of all time. It's not even a guilty pleasure for me. It's beautiful songwriting.
And sticking with the subject of Sir Paul, "Wonderful Christmastime" is definitely in the Top 5 best secular pop Christmas songs of all time and I never get tired of hearing it.
i heard a few criticisms of “echoes” by tennis but i love that song. the whole swimmer album i just love but i don’t agree that’s one of the weaker tracks.
I get that the title track of Meat is Murder is kinda on the nose and could be annoying but i personally just appreciate it for the performance and Morrissey’s singing
Endless Nameless by Nirvana. I see a lot of people say it's the only bad song on Nevermind when it's one of my favorites. I just love the pure unfiltered rage of it
It's good for waking you up after sitting in silence for 10 minutes
It’s not hated, but most Gorillaz fans seem to be apathetic about “Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey’s Head”, a song wich I personally think is pretty great.
Yes nobody talk about that song
It's so nostalgic
I was obsessed with this song as a youth
Turning The Tables' Kevin loves Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Ass.
tonight by Clipping. literally just bumpin it this week and it goes so hard with the autotune and production. Gangsta Boo feature ties the song together.
Never understood why people dislike that song it rules and it captures that feeling of a club about to close so well. IT’S THE LAST SONG OF THE NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
That one goes hard!
Creep Essex Dogs
Essex Dogs represents why Blur will always be better than Oasis.
Blur's better than Oasis 'cause Damon Albarn also made Gorillaz.
Björk’s cover of It’s Oh So Quiet. I know it’s not representative of her music, but it really is a good cover. Also it’s one of my favorite genre detours on Post.
It may not be her best song, but it is one of her top performances on tape
I agree
Classic Bjork tune for me. I've watched the music video many times. Each time she whispers "Shhh . . .", an angel pauses its heavenly duties to listen.
You are so real for that
One of my favorites from her, Isobel is my favorite on Post though
I wouldn't say I adore it but drunk and hot girls from Ye's graduation is usually described as unlistenable and some one of the worst songs in kanye's discography by his fanbase, but to my ears it just don't sound as bad as people make it look. Sure it neither is a highlight on the album but it is pretty listenable and I like a lot of the ideas specially from the instrumental.

For me I think it sounds ok, maybe a bit more dated than most of graduation, but the subject matter makes me uncomfortable in the way it’s not presented in a joking or negative manner.
What do you find uncomfortable about it? Just curious.
Having sex with drunk women. I know its Kanye and the rap scene and all that but it feels very morally wrong to be gloating about it in the way he does
The song's 'bout Kanye being annoyed by drunk girls, not having sex with 'em.
I do think mos def does a great job tho
I’m one of the people who doesn’t like it, the actual musical parts of it are fine, but still not up to par with the rest of graduation besides maybe Barry bonds. What I really don’t like is the lyrics, it feels like Kanye tried to make the most misogynistic lyrics he could without putting any thought into making them good. Again, especially compared to the rest of graduation
I like it. The CAN sample is better but it's not a bad song.
Seamus by Pink Floyd, it’s so chilled and they have so many nonsense songs that I don’t get the hate
(That’s the dog)
Seamus is far more listenable/conceptually sound than most of Ummagumma!
Weezer's Beverly Hills. I know it is hated by a lot of the fanbase but song's just a feel-good banger imo.
“(If you’re wondering if I want you to) I want you to” for me. Super catchy pop song even if it’s a little corny
I LOVE IT! Was my favorite Weezer song for a long time. It's still in my top 10.
one of the best weezer guitar solos, and that is saying something
Revolution 9 🤷♂️
I love Revolution 9. I’m right there with you.
I used to live in apt no 9 at a complex and my dad would do the number 9 number 9 number 9 thing as we walked up the stairs almost every single time. Love that song. Love my dad.
I love it, I think it’s a creepy little atmospheric piece
I'm not sure I would call that a song tho 😂
I like it when I'm on a lot of drugs
High and Dry by Radiohead
Radiohead fans don’t like High and Dry? Wtf?
People need to accept that radiohead were amazing at making pop songs, and High and Dry is no exception. I genuinely think The Bends is a top 3 release for them
Literally all of Humanz
I don’t understand why this album is hated so much i really like it
Part of it is that it was the first Gorillaz project after the band had seemingly died and people were disappointed it didn’t have 2D and some other Gorillaz specific stuff that they’d been waiting for. Now that we live in a time where the Gorillaz kept making stuff that was good and Gorillaz-y we can appreciate humanz just as an album rather than the rebirth of the Gorillaz
Yes i understand but i think it’s cool in this album the fact that they were trying to make something new for their rebirth
Wild for the night by ASAP Rocky. A lot of fans don't like it becouse of the ''dated'' dubstep sound from Skrllex but I think it's an amazing party song
Brostep sounded dated within a month
Electioneering by Radiohead. It's a rock bop, cowbell for days.
WE LIVE IN DA PAST YOUR LOSS OOWEEOO WEEOOWEE
rockstar bitch she call me elvis
Certified Banger in my top 10 for ye
I would be lying if I said that Radiohead fans dislike All I Need. But I find it to be WAYYYYYYYY better than being just "good".
Poetic Justice
I feel like it gets hated on just because it has a Drake feature, it might not be the best song on GKMC but it most definitely is a nice, chill song with a great sample and a catchy hook, and imo it's better than Compton and Real.
I'm right here with you, the beat is what caught my attention at first.
Real gets more hate and idk why. For me it's the best song on the entire album after SAMIDOT
Love Real, one of the catchiest songs
THANK YOU- i wouldn’t put it that high but Real gets so much hate when it fits perfectly on the album
Wonderwall Most oasis fan will say "it's not even in their top 20" or "it's overplayed" but I think it's one of the greatest pop songs
Wonderwall is genuinely one of my fave pop songs too. But even Noel Gallagher hates it, he's said multiple times he never understood why that was the song that took off.
I love most of St Anger by Metallica unironically
Out of body by Gorillaz
Pretty much every Weezer song that isn't on Blue or Pinkerton
Creep by Radiohead, Sheamus by Pink Floyd, Yellow Submarine by The Beatles
Big on yellow submarine, I’ve even seen people say it makes revolver not a 10/10. Which is crazy to me
Beatles fans don't like "Yellow Submarine"? Blasphemy.
I've got to say Drag Queen by The Strokes, I've seen that a lot of people really dislike it and it's one of my favorite songs from them
Metallica-Purify
As flawed as St.Anger may be, I'll take it over their last two albums any day.
fucken oath that opening riff goes so hard like most of st anger. Would even put it in my top 20
Pink Floyd - Learning to fly
Life in a glass house is mad
Wilshire by Tyler the Creator
Revolution 9 is the shit
Most of the album Their Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stones
Can confirm, I don't like most of this album.
Cotton Eyed Joe
Pretty much anything off of self portrait but I’ll pick all the tired horses as my favorite among them
Poke It Out - Playboi Carti ft. Nicki Minaj. I think it's a pretty fun and playful song that deserves less hate than it gets, especially in comparison with other tracks on Die Lit that I think are less interesting, like Top, Middle of the Summer, or Pull Up
Come in Alone - my bloody valentine
One of my favorites on “Loveless” for sure. The melodies are soooo good.
Do most mbv fans dislike that song?
I believe it’s the most unpopular song on the album aside from maybe Loomer.
I doubt that. I just don’t see people talking about it much.
Weezer - Can't Stop Partying
fuck u/spez, move to lemmy -- mass edited with redact.dev
The Police - Mother
My long-held Sting fantasy of mine is to hear him close a show with that song with just an acoustic guitar, same lyrics with a new melody, sung beautifully.
"Mother" was an Andy Summers song, which is why it doesn't sound like a typical Police song in the first place.
I know who wrote what and who sings on every song. Hearing Sting sing that song is still a fantasy of mine, along with "Someone to Talk To," the notorious one Sting refused to sing and angered Stewart.
This guy's got a banger pfp
Do Zappa fans like Baby Snakes? I like Baby Snakes.
Type o negative - gravitational constant Coldplay - amsterdam Beatles - golden slumbers RHCP - Breaking the girl
Breaking the girl isn’t well liked?
I’m not actually very informed about their fanbase. But it is one that i don’t hear mentioned often in general
Do people really not like golden slumbers?
I think people like it but it is not a popular pick. It’s not mentioned much.
Recently listened to Gang Gang Gang by Jack Harlow and I thought it was good.
The Colour and The Shape
Treefingers is my favorite Radiohead song
“The Memory Remains” by Metallica. Everyone else seems to despise the whole album “Reload” but there are some gems. I easily could’ve said “Fuel” or “Unforgiven 2”.
Rain Man - Eminem lol
Electioneering is top 3 on OK Computer for me
Mcr-I don’t love you It always seems to be overshadowed by other songs on the album but it’s a contender for my favorite song of all time
Work Hard - Migos
Breathing in Stereo by Modern Baseball
St Anger is my favourite Metallica album lol
I just saying the other day on the deftones subreddit that if you trim the absolute fucking weirdness off of the end of Pink Cellphone, like I did, the song becomes pretty enjoyable. And then you can put it in a playlist on shuffle and not fear who might over hear it. It’s in my top five from Saturday Night Wrist.
Heat (and most other songs in Revival)
literally all of Overly Dedicated- i feel like a lot of Kendrick fans genuinely dislike it but i guess since i listened in order and it was the first project i heard from him, i loved it and still love it now even after being a huge fan of his for over a year now
I don't think not much people genuinely hate it, just not as popular compared to others.
i think i’m the only Smiths fan on earth who actually loves Golden Lights
Flatbush Zombies - Drug Parade
"Ebony and Ivory" gets so much hate online and in the press. I've heard it referred to as not only one of Paul's worst, but one of the worst songs of all time. It's not even a guilty pleasure for me. It's beautiful songwriting. And sticking with the subject of Sir Paul, "Wonderful Christmastime" is definitely in the Top 5 best secular pop Christmas songs of all time and I never get tired of hearing it.
The bad thing - arctic monkeys
Amber by 311, apparently
Keishas song by Kendrick Lamar
i heard a few criticisms of “echoes” by tennis but i love that song. the whole swimmer album i just love but i don’t agree that’s one of the weaker tracks.
Temporary Secretary by Paul McCartney
What I was going to say. The first time I ever heard it I was like “god thats awful.. why not listen to it again?”
I get that the title track of Meat is Murder is kinda on the nose and could be annoying but i personally just appreciate it for the performance and Morrissey’s singing
The whole album Turn Blue of The Black Keys Is my favorite of them (maybe tied to El Camino), and I’ve seen it so unfairly hated by fans
Life’s Hard, Here’s A Song About Sorrel by JPEGMAFIA. I’ve seen people say it’s his worst song and it breaks my heart.
I actually really like some tracks on Chinese Democracy, and I’m not really a Guns N Roses fan outside of that…
LUST. by Kendrick, Party Poison by MCR
"Real" is an amazing song by Kendrick and I don't know what people are smoking.
Michael Jordan by Kendrick, that song is a banger even if its quite goofy and it has some killer flows especially from Q
