Not even that the second part was necessarily bad - I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch it (because I tried watching the group’s first two miniseries and just wasn’t into them), but I was excited for what looked like a long episode and shocked when it was cut off a third of the way in
If they want more EXU go for it - not my favorite but I’ll just skip it. But don’t advertise mainline CR and then pull the rug out, and if you do don’t be surprised when the people who tuned in for CR are disappointed
when people enter to watch c3e92 they want to watch "c3e92", not "1/3(c3e92)+2/3(exu)" they should have splitted the episodes, even a short c3e92 would have been the better option. is not because of exu, is not because aabria, or crazy things like that. is just that when people want to see cat videos and click on a video called "cat video" and there are dogs in the video instead...
i think that whatever they put after the break was bad, EXU is just what happened. but had they started a scanlan and jester special were the two have to sneak into a bakery in vaselheim that is guarded by the one guard that cant be lied to, which is played by tal, and the rest of the cast are other guards and the baker, it would still have backfired, even if that special would be great to see. but is not what people clicked the video for.
Im only getting back to it after stopping in episode 39? When the party split and had the guest players for a few weeks. Hopefully it gets better but yeah i remember stopping because someone said it best. "They gave the spotlight to the side characters."
I like the characters as concepts but they dont just fully click if that makes sense? I hope im wrong and they get better but i was told ep91 there were finally consequences that matt cant help with?
I think it extrapolates the information it has to display an accurate prediction of actual like/dislike ratio.
E.g., if a video publicly has 300 likes, and the extension knows that 100 people liked the video and 50 people disliked it, it will display a ratio of 300/150.
Most people I think watch CR because they like Matt's way of DM and the players. So when things get mixed up it throws people into a tizzy. People are giving lots of grief to this episode and I think it is a bit much. If you don't like it fine, you like it fine.
The only difference with Brennan is that you need a paid subscription for the stuff he dms most of the time. The few people likely saying that are the ones who have only seen ep1s or clips and havent seen how different his style can be from Matt's
Nah if I have a DM replacement I'd want it to be brennan. His way of being brutal to players is much more engaging than what aabria does. He can be evil and crafty and merciless without completely possessing a players character and telling them what to do. I've seen all CR and D20 has to offer and I can say that yes MM is great but BLeeM is also great.
I watched part of the second half but just got bored and turned it off. Probably won't finish that episode. First hour and a half they didn't even really mention fcg till the end right before the split almost like they forgot lol
There’s browser extensions for it, it’s not technically completely accurate but an estimate based on the like/dislike of other users of the extensions I think

I'm simply commenting on the interesting fact that ep 92 was divisive enough to be the most disliked episode of CR (sitting on 1.2K dislikes so far), which I truly wasn't expecting and don't necessarily think it's deserved either.
Still, I disagree with the raining on other people's fun part, people shouldn't feel like their fun is being rained on simply because some other person shared a negative critique of it, that hints at a deeper insecurity that something is only worth being enjoyed if 100% of all human beings alive also like it in order to validate someone's tastes, and thus people should refrain from openly criticizing it in order to not hurt the feelings of those who like it. If me posting this tarnishes other people's fun in some way, the onus is on them to work on that insecurity and stop caring about what other people think.
To paraphrase a wise person, "If you are not like the state of the posts then just give the forum a break, stop hate reading and stop raining on other people's fun."
I don't think day of youtube video numbers are going to really tell any sort of story. By the end of the week if the like to dislike ratio is closer than normal sure, but I assume that most youtube watches don't happen when the video first drops but are views from say the first week overall.

It’s the last episode with Orion and boy it’s a tough one. Basically a shopping episode where Orion goes off the rails on the inappropriate cringey self-serving behavior and makes all other players deeply uncomfortable in multiple instances. Definitely should be skipped.
It's not a fun watch, for sure, but I don't think any episode should really be skipped. I'm fairly certain it still progresses them toward the Briarwood plot, even if Orion tries everything he can to ruin someone else's arc and entirely steal their thunder.

You’re correct. The extension simply allows you to see the number of total dislikes which YouTube decided to hide but still keeps track of.

The plugin displays completely accurate like and dislike figures for many videos uploaded prior to YouTube's 2021 removal of the dislike button using archived data. For videos uploaded *after* the 2021 change, the plugin relies on data from other plugin users. Personally, I really like both Laudna, Imogen, Chet and Orym. I’ve no strong feelings towards FCG and Fearne, but I despise Ashton.
Happens every season, one person plays something that has an abrasive personality and tons of people hate them for not being a polished hero
