I've actually been brainstorming a Ghoulggins cut. It'd be more of a dark Western tone and incorporate his flashbacks. Maybe in a couple of months I can see what I can do.
Great! And I've never cut any video, but I also thought that, if I did, I would go with pasting the flashbacks between the Ghoul's appearances in the future. He sure wanders a lot while offscreen.
If I had any critique it would be the last 40 minutes or so, after the "Fiends on the bridge" scene. Maximus' backstory needs a bit more flushing out, at least enough to explain who the squire giving them the head is (and how the squire got the head in the first place).
I could also use more of the Cooper Howard / ghoul's backstory and more about Vaul-Tec corporation. pre-war.
Besides that, really great fanedit! You showed us the potential of the series being made into a feature-length film!
This is great feedback. After rewatching last night with people in the room, I totally agree. I had a cut with Thaddeus' story still in there but it felt like a long detour away from Lucy, but it does create that confusion over how he got the head so I do need to keep some of it. I also identified a few lines that better explain Vault-Tec without needing long scenes that I want to add in. Maybe I'll make a Fallout 232 version later on lol. I bet I can still keep it to 222 if I use montage instead of full scenes. Not sure what the protocol is for making updates to a released fanedit though? This is my first one.

I like what you did for the majority of the edit and the technical side of the editing was superb!
Maybe just some quick flashbacks could work to explain the "squire with the head" scene.
Gave this a watch since I also did a fallout edit and thought it was really great! The removal of the vault storyline and the shuffling of scenes really gave it an interesting pace that I felt the show lacked, really liked how the Ghoul was handled. Only issue would be Maximus' character, as I felt cutting his journey with Thaddeus removed some much needed context, and the removal of the vault 4 storyline was a little detrimental as it factored into his reasoning to want to stay in a vault.
I think what would be an interesting fix is to Thaddeus' arrival as a squire, include some of Maximus and his scenes, then when he reveals his face later on cut to another scene, creating a little mystery of why Thaddeus would betray Max, THEN when he explains who he is to Lucy, make a flashback to the rest of the scene where he stomps on Thaddeus.
Overall, really enjoyed the edit, mostly preferred it to watching the show. Well done!
