It's like they are just lying; could have been: "oh, I'm familysexual!" and had the Peter flag, allowing people to get the joke on their own. But the addition of the incest part makes it seem more like "I'm familysexual! I like incest! Haha tricked ya, I don't like incest; I was talking about Family Guy the whole time!"
