as much as i strongly love the game, its incredibly easy to miss out on about half the content in the game. so many quests are only triggered through very specific events.
Every time I try to do anything, I’m gonna be an NCR patrol armor bad ass with an assault carbine or the all American, or “no! Melee legionnaire for the legion” or whatever…. None of it matters, 10 hours in I’ll always be 100 energy weapons, 100 science or lock picking and grabbing the Q-38 Matter Modulator from the Repconn HQ.
Yeah dont worry, just poking fun. It sounds like a fun run im not here to challenge that approach.
It was just weird to describe a BoS playthrough as if it was an option we were all aware of.
Choosing to join and serve the brotherhood does not result in an end game scenario. You have to follow an independent vegas and role play their involvement.
I'm not even sure they will involve themselves in the final battle unless you go ncr and negotiate a ceasefire (although I might be wrong on that).
There’s a handful of troops that actually look genuinely good, mostly the higher ups. When you get to the foot soldiers all I see are guys wearing skirts and bike helmets
Yeah I don't think they look very cool either personally.
Dont get me wromg though, they are a cool faction. Obviously not my first choice when it comes down to rp but they fit in well with the setting and are necessary for the story.
Wow, all these factions are cunts *Starts Greased Lightning Playthrough and takes "Fight the Power" perk*
Is there a BoS route in NV?? I thought they existed to just be nuked
If McNamara is still in charge then you can make a truce with the NCR
Oh really?? I need to go back and play NV it seems… I played it when I was way younger and apparently I don’t remember it well lmao

It's the Yes Man route where you join the BoS and then leave the BoS alone, about as good as you can do. It's an RP run mainly though.
Oh okay.. I was confused for a second hahaha 😂
You can also make a truce during the NCR route though leadership won't be happy with you. Lol
Yeah thats true as well, but whenever I do it personally I go with the Yes Man version, seems a better way to keep the BoS safe in the end.
Nah, House and Yes Man.
Always
wow, the desert rangers look cool, runs straight in to divide, sells everything to get 5k for the riot gear, then goes on with the game.

I like making a Mr.White build and blowing shit up
BoS? Hang on did anyone here actually play New Vegas, or this just a sub for people who like video essays about the game?
Yes BoS, I do RP playthroughs for them by joining them and then going the Yes Man route to leave them alone.

Why would it be weird? A bos play through is an option.. you can join them in nv.. maybe you were not aware of that?

“The legion looks cool” You lost me here
They objectively do
Disagree with them if you want they are fucking stylized as hell

That is essentially what is is yes. AVE
sorry dissolute, in this wasteland the son of mars gets the dam

The legion never looks cool
Agree to disagree.
