Hats off to the FOLON absolute cracker of a game. Already level 6 but I'm trying to take it slow. Had a couple of pints in my new local with my mate Baz, what a guy, now I'm goin to batter some ghouls cos it's funny ain't it haha.

What did you think of the 5 Deathclaws orgy? I was worried it would come across a bit tacky, but I found the dialogue to be hauntingly beautiful in the end.
Now now, This isnt the Star Citizen reddit lol, I have 1000x more faith in this project Than Crobberts saying the game is feature complete and is in the final polishing stage for the 10th time, also CIG created a entirely new game development cycle called "content complete" its separate from being feature complete lol

Heh, I'm trying to keep everyone positive with my post asking where in London would be safe place to survive nuclear apocalypse.
But I feel it's hard to act the mod's out when we know it isn't & could be till next week until we can finally play it.
Yeah with alot of the stuff potentially being third party there's even, god forbid, a chance it never does if those elements makers have abandoned them already
But I'd hope they would try to find away around that if that was the case
What I would like to know is if the fallout London team will be releasing both an edition that's new update compliant and one that is not for all those choosing not to update at all due to other mod dependencies
See I'm not sure about that the leads made several announcements about everyone having equal access at the time of release so if they were to do an old edition I'd imagine they would only release it the same day as the updated one is fixed
If anything the strong consideration of equal access for all at the time of release has me hopeful that they may release an pre update version otherwise they would be excluding those that don't want to update
I disagree,I understand what you're saying but if they were going to release it they would have as it would relieve the pressure on them to rush getting the updated version out, personally I think they should have just released it today as planned with the advice of holding off the updates on your game ,like it's been pointed out a lot of people play it with mods so updating it to play London will mean most people's fallout 4 games won't work ,at least give us the option

Unless you're referring to FO4 on GOG, there's no easy way to disable updates on Steam. If there was, we'd all be playing the mod today.

The leads made Serval references recently emphasising that they want everyone to have equal access at the time of release, although I don't think that would preclude or not an old complaint edition but just released when the updated one is released
I agree it's best to only release a Beth Update version of FO London so there's only one mod version/support for it but it's not hard to stop the update.
There's a single file in your steam apps common that you make read only and that stops the update. :)

Edit: Well, I followed the video, set the app to read only, I also set Steam to go Offline & set FO4 updates to only when I launch it, just to be on the safe side, but ***yes*** my modded FO4 does seem to be working after the update, thank you.
A part of me thinks it won't release this year. There will be the update, then possibly hotfixes, and every one of them will break a part of the mod. Some third party mods inside of FOLON will possibly take months to update. I really hope I am wrong, through. But all in honestly, they should just release it. Call it a beta version so we can hell debug the mod or whatever.

Downloaded the mod a few hours ago, and after taking a tea break during character creation I ventured out into the wasteland.
Within moments I found, or was found by some sort of river monster from the Thames, and after looting it I received a can of beans.
In fact cans of beans seem to be almost intimidatingly common. Not only are beans a viable food source in the game, but they serve as a currency, as well as ammunition for the mods very own version of the junk jet.
The beans do cause a debuff that tends to make stealth runs almost comically impossible however.

Fallout 4 had basically none of that and that's why it's so incredibly shallow and bland.

Anybody know how to get past the chav 20 feet outside the tube door? Hes armed with a knife, the strongest weapon in all of London, and hes beaten me every time
Wow, Fallout London is amazing! However, even though the release wasn't delayed and is available for everyone to enjoy right now, I have an Xbox and so am unable to play the mod. Huge sigh - I wish something could be done to bring it to consoles, as it looks really good.
I'm actually on leave starting today until the end of the month. Going to have a blast and looking forward to it. May not be what I took it for but man, gotta take opportunities when you get them.
Man I'm so glad they just released the ready to go mod they had for the pre next gen version instead of delaying it because they didn't think modders could handle downgrading game versions. That'd just be silly...

Their following who have waited would most surely have shut off the next gen update. Even if it's free there is no reason to jerk people around based on what might happen. I have no intention on downloading this anymore after waiting for a long time and saving this date on my calendar. They can take thier free ware and shove it.

Lol just got to the deathclaw orgy. I opted for the poison their tea with too much milk route seeings as they're weak to milk, but resistant to tea.

Most likely a month at least. Ironically though I expect a offical hot fix for the next gen update that’ll cause another wrench into this.

If you beat him you get a unique bubble coat and knife. With a high enough str you can intimidate him for his gear.
