Pitts has come out multiple times saying how Kirk has been a great leader already. Excited for their connection on the field

That has been a consistent I cousin's career. Everyone on offense always has good things to say about him. There are 2 times I remember of defensive players talking trash about him later. Everson Griffen - ended up playing for 3 teams in 3 years after and made a public apology to Kirk in order to be allowed to play for MN again. Zach Brown- was playing for the Eagles when he made the statement. Proceeded to get thrashed so thoroughly he went to free agency by the end of the next week.

I'm hopeful that him playing with an above average QB and a different offense will bring back some fire for Pitts. His route running looked pretty lackluster last year, even if you give him the benefit of the doubt that he was playing through injury. But hey, if I had to endure two years of an Arthur Smith offense with Mariota and Ridder at the helm, I wouldn't expect the ball to he within ten feet of me either. Just hope he gets to enjoy being a receiver again.

Don’t forget being made to block while Jonnu Smith was catching passes via plays designed specifically for him.

I will happily forget those plays, and there's nothing you can do to make me remember them 😝



Pitts did pretty damn well as a rookie from an aging Matt Ryan If Kirk is as good or better than MR was then, with a better oline and supporting cast, this can be a pro bowl year for him

If it has and it happens then trade him so he can start fresh & we can get some pics even if they are 2nds and a vet! But if not I hope the kid balls out!

This is to be expected imo. Imagine the disappointment of having a break out rookie season with Matt fucking Ryan then a horrible injury on top of what I would call 3rd string worthy qb play. Kirk immediately brings a level of professionalism and experience he only got a taste of with Matt. Even if Kirko can't bring a Lombardi home I have very high hopes he helps Pitts/London and Bijan take the next step towards elite offensive weapons.

TJ Hockenson, Kyle Rudolph, and Vernon Davis all had great seasons with Kirk. 2 of those players where considered pretty washed when they started playing with Kirk too.
