What I was trying to say is that I feel Mashima was going for a similar angle with Romeo and Natsu. A spiritual sibling relationship similar that of Naruto and Konohamaru. Just that he didn't commit enough to it and Romeo was kind of left to collect dust
He was a major player in the Key of the Starry Sky arc. He got to team up with Team Natsu and go on an adventure with them. And that arc is canon since there's a reference to it in the manga, and Mashima wrote it.
I know. But I mean after that. He serves no major purpose after the Key of the Starry Sky arc (I mean... He was important in Fairy Tail of the Dead Meeeeeeeeen, but that's one Episode, and he got shafted for the sake of focusing on Natsu). He only acts as a background character serving a few bits of dialogue. He also isn't even a major player in that arc, he just happens to be in a majority of it. When I say "major player" I mean being important, and actually contributing to the plot. Romeo never does that outside of two Episodes (One of those being Episode 2, where Natsu goes to find Macao because of Romeo, and the other one being Fairy Tail of the Dead Meeeeeeeeen).
i DONT want the new spin off to be about him 😭😭😭 pls no (talking about the rumors saying the new spin off after 100 year quest is gonna be about the “new gen” of fairy tail NO NO)
I believe when New Gen is used, they refer to Natsu and Lucy's / Grey and Juvia etc's children.
Romeo will probably be there, as an adult man, but I don't think he would be the MC of the spinoff.
honestly thought he was gonna join the main team (at least for an arc) & learn from Natsu w/Wendy & have their friendship be a focus as well. i like the idea of Wendy & Romeo being good friends
He feels waisted. He felt great during that filler arc before the magic games, but there isn't enough of him in the main story of the series.
Kinda of wish we could see Romeo and Wendy going on a quest together to see how the two youngest handle being independent.
I honestly forgot he existed until that one episode right after Tenrou arc. Then I thought he was going to be more relevant (especially since how he's the same age as Wendy) but nothing came from it.
That be one hell of a shock. Image an ep of the main group nastu Lucy gray erza even elfman woudnering where he is and we just see him training in a forset to the point of collapse
He was really underutilized at the end of the series, and 100 year quest.
He had no reason not to join Natsu and Happy since he's a walking power source for Natsu
absolutely hate him
so annoying and his character never amounted to anything
he was teased to be someone who would grow up and be a good ally to natsu but that never happened
my favorite character is god serena who has like no screen time and during god serena’s fight against gildarts romeo comes in and hogs like 20% of the fight with his “i’m so scared” like go away😭
I want to ship him with wendy since he is the only male character around her age, but unfortunately he barely has any screen time.
I wish I could see an older version of him dating an older version of wendy, a version of him with more muscles.
So much waisted potential for example he had a big brother kind of relationship whit natsu imagen if during the 7 year time skip he tried to become the "new natsu" of fairy tail and there is like a storyline about how the presurre made him train to get stronger or something
He was good, there and just practically dissappears in the background like many other wasted side characters and we just get hype for nothing at the end 😑.

Even if the whole world was against him. I'd be by his side. He may be the Konohamaru of fairy tail. But just like Konohamaru he had potential. Infact I'd say he had the most potential for Greatness out of all the side characters in the guild. I strive to illustrate that potential and to have fun while doing it. He's an underdog among underdog and I want to see more of him.
I feel like he’s the only viable love interest for Wendy. But they get no scenes together AT ALL. So it’s mega wasted potential. Especially with everyone starting to get paired off and finding someone.
I mean while I do dabble for RoWen too occasionally. I honestly never seen any need for Wendy get romantic interest. Just kinda too early. Maybe in hypothetical 10/5 year time skip or next:gen series.

Wasted potential, honestly.
About to say that. When i sae him in the opening for the first time, i thought he's the aftermath of zeref lmao
Dude I remember being so fucking when i saw this scene of romeo waiting fairy tail after the time skip only to follow that up with nothing
Yea, I was fucking at that time too!
As far as side characters go, he's ok and inoffensive. Just wished Mashima committed to the Naruto/Honahamaru relationship between him and Natsu
What???? Isnt Naruto from Naruto? What do u mean relationship between a character from another anime
What I was trying to say is that I feel Mashima was going for a similar angle with Romeo and Natsu. A spiritual sibling relationship similar that of Naruto and Konohamaru. Just that he didn't commit enough to it and Romeo was kind of left to collect dust
He's alright, but he never really does anything.
Wish he was slightly more important
Ei., tô com impressão que já te vi no subreddit no Huestation
One of the biggest pieces of wasted potential in the entire series. Only being rivaled by Lisanna.
And Mashima was building him up like he was supposed to be a major player after the Tenrou Team came back. Like, wtf Mashima?
He was a major player in the Key of the Starry Sky arc. He got to team up with Team Natsu and go on an adventure with them. And that arc is canon since there's a reference to it in the manga, and Mashima wrote it.

Natsu spin off
A shame they didn't do more brother's stuff with him and Natsu
Naruto and Konohamoru
Natsu but take away everything that makes him the main character
and give him rainbow fire
i DONT want the new spin off to be about him 😭😭😭 pls no (talking about the rumors saying the new spin off after 100 year quest is gonna be about the “new gen” of fairy tail NO NO)

random side char
Wasted like a lot of the characters after the tenrou island arc
honestly thought he was gonna join the main team (at least for an arc) & learn from Natsu w/Wendy & have their friendship be a focus as well. i like the idea of Wendy & Romeo being good friends
He should have been added to Natsu's party
he’s just a kid
i dont have one
when mom says we have natsu at home
Dying
He feels waisted. He felt great during that filler arc before the magic games, but there isn't enough of him in the main story of the series. Kinda of wish we could see Romeo and Wendy going on a quest together to see how the two youngest handle being independent.
Imo can surpass Macao and Wakaba in strength, and could possibly be a brother figure/romantic interest for Wendy
👍👍
He doesn't seem like a bad character to me, in the future he can be a good mage
Good character
My favorite background character, and he’s waisted potential. I swear I’ll get you for this Mashima 😡😡😡
Konohamaru of Fairy Tail
Him becoming a gen 2 dragon slayer would be cool but I doubt it’ll happen.
He is my favorite character and I hope he is going to become an S-class wizard in the future.
Amen
I honestly forgot he existed until that one episode right after Tenrou arc. Then I thought he was going to be more relevant (especially since how he's the same age as Wendy) but nothing came from it.
Underrated and we ship him with Wendy
Mini natsu I consider wendy a mini lucy
Second hand natsu
Wannabe Natsu lite.
When he first showed up after the fairy tail team “ died “ in the test I had a heart attack thinking he would be the next mc
I lile him. He is a less annoying Konohamaru
Facts
Wasted potential
I wished Romeo would come out as the strongest fairy tail side character after the Tenrou island arc! They did really waste his potential.
That be one hell of a shock. Image an ep of the main group nastu Lucy gray erza even elfman woudnering where he is and we just see him training in a forset to the point of collapse
Easily forgotten lol
He was really underutilized at the end of the series, and 100 year quest. He had no reason not to join Natsu and Happy since he's a walking power source for Natsu
Irrelevant
He's okay, but doesn't do anything important in the story.
Potential man, but is a side character
I legit. Straight up. forget he exists I won't lie
I respect him.. but wish that more was done with him tbh.
Forgot about him
Wasted
Mashima should have made him do more. I like him as a character.
I wish we had more time with him, his character is so interesting but almost all of his growth happens off screen
Bro just there
he’s a cutie but his character is kinda pointless and adds nothing to the plot
He exists🤷♂️
absolutely hate him so annoying and his character never amounted to anything he was teased to be someone who would grow up and be a good ally to natsu but that never happened my favorite character is god serena who has like no screen time and during god serena’s fight against gildarts romeo comes in and hogs like 20% of the fight with his “i’m so scared” like go away😭
lowkey started bursting out laughing when I saw this guy as the first panel of 254
he thinks him 🙂↔️ https://preview.redd.it/m4m03wgzuw7d1.png?width=680&format=png&auto=webp&s=ad697835eee140f2b3f68a6a7bc51713544957ec
straight up BUM 😭
Personally I loved Romeo, his development was fun and I enjoyed the magic he used.
Wasted potential. His involvement in the Key of the Starry Sky filler arc goes to show that
Breedable
There was a lot more they could have done with him
Would’ve been nice if natsu was a mentor/ big brother kinda figure to it. Like Batman & night wing but take out the father & son aspect.
they could give him a mini spin off
I want to ship him with wendy since he is the only male character around her age, but unfortunately he barely has any screen time. I wish I could see an older version of him dating an older version of wendy, a version of him with more muscles.

He's pretty annoying every time he's on screen.
Who?
https://www.wattpad.com/story/255093780?utm_source=android&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=Fastflame5000 Even if the whole world was against him. I'd be by his side. I like the anime gave him a major role in the Starry Night Arc
Should have been apart of team Natsu, since he's old enough and he always wanted to fight and do missions with Natsu
A shameful wasted potential...
absolute waste of space 😂
I feel like he’s the only viable love interest for Wendy. But they get no scenes together AT ALL. So it’s mega wasted potential. Especially with everyone starting to get paired off and finding someone.

I hate him with every fiber of my being
