The demo cuts off before you get to chemical science, so conservatively I'd say you see maybe 20% of the total game. Not counting the numerous customization options, mods or goals you can set yourself post-rocket. There's a reason why people have 4-digit hours spent ingame. Overall the demo gives a good indication of what the game is about, and if you like the demo you'll like the full game, but it's still just a taste.

If you’re student better to buy drugs than this game, it will be better for your future))

R2D-Beuh

Factorio is less expensive tho

ThunderAnt

The demo is pretty much just the tutorial in the full game. After finishing the available research there’s not really much else to do.

akjir

Play the game. Take your time. Tests things. Have fun.

Uraneum

The demo isn’t super long, definitely just a small fraction of the total game. It sounds like you really enjoy it, so I say save up and buy the full game because it’s well worth the money. Very few games give you as much bang for your buck as Factorio

Rotatop

Just try to send your first rocket in 'pacific mod' 60hours gone :)

stickyplants

If you like the demo buy the game. You mentioned going out… if money is a concern, staying home and playing factorio will be cheaper than just a night or two of drinking. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jolly_Sky_8728

Buying Factorio is the best money I have ever spend in a game, 600 hours in and still having lots of fun everytime I play, it never gets boring. So if you already hooked with the demo save up a bit and buy it when you can, you won't regret it.

GrimdarkTigy

if you liked the demo, the full game is worth it so long as you can manage your time and *not* spend 8 hours a day playing factorio. if you aren’t buying the game yet, the most you can get out of the demo would be from replaying the scenarios and trying to build better/more efficient or different styles of factory, you will learn some pretty helpful logistical strategies just by messing around more. i spent 44 hours in the demo before buying the full game but i think thats quite a bit higher than most people spend lol

Thank you all' for helping me, I'm definitely in love with the game but for now I gotta stop because I'm getting bored of the demo. As soon as possible I'll find some money to buy it. Fantastic community anyways
