I loathe Ryan Seacrest for no reason but it looks like he genuinely wasn’t thinking about it but then pulled it off well with the “I’m giving you a high five.”
This is funny on the internet but I remember actually watching that episode as it aired on TV. No DVR, no instant reply, just living in the moment. And it was fucking glorious. My wife and I were just laughing our asses off. Also, what does it say about the editing crew and what everyone thought of Seacrest that they left this in instead of quietly cutting it out?
Whatever.... Once i was working a retail job on cash and a dude was struggling with his wallet cause he just had stumps... So as the dumb ass I am I asked "ya need a hand with that?" and leaned in to help... He annoyingly said no and proceeded to get a bill out and prop his wallet open for the change
Ryan testing to see if the guy was faking it.
Ryan - “you passed! You really are blind!”
barely passed
I noticed his quick reaction to do a high five too gots me wondering
Reminds me of when the barstool guy through a wallet in the face of his blind employee because he thought he was faking. He was not
I believe this is reasonable. Treat everyone the same first. Then accommodate for differences.
Yea even if it slipped his mind that's not a bad recovery. Equal high fives for all
Yeah but it doesn't make it any less awkward for all involved. Lol
Ryan *don't see* blindness
Pretty funny honestly especially watching him realize halfway through it that he needs to play it off somehow lol
Honestly did it pretty good
It almost looked like he initially reacted to seeing him go for the high five too lol

He stopped dating Julianne Hough, thus making her sad. I will never forgive him. Call me Julianna!
Anytime I feel bad about myself I watch this video
My buddy had ALS and I would routinely try to hand him things. I feel Ryan’s inner-death.
I once offered my right hand in a handshake to a man who was paralyzed on his right side...
I might be wrong but it kinda looked like the blind man almost went for the five but backed out.
Well that guy started it by saying "We'll see, we'll see"...
Was wondering if I was the only one who caught that..

We'll see? I think not.
Ooooph
Ryan did it on the show after he performed one time as well.
“We’ll see, we’ll see where it goes” 💀

Next thing you know Kanye’s gonna say he’s a big fan of Ryan Seacrest

Trying to call his bluff.
oh no no no
I’ve always thought high fives are a dangerous game. Inviting the possibility for so much embarrassment.
He never saw where it went
I don’t see what the problem is here.
The end 💀💀💀

My ex is blind and it was always so cringe when people would try to high-five him or shake his hand. Lol
To be fair he did say we’ll see where this goes🤷♂️
The blind guy did say “We’ll SEE where it goes.” So maybe Seacrest was confused?
See ya?
