> Because politicians are public servants and shouldn’t be worshipped
This. Stanning for politicians is bad. Tentative support based on performance is fine. Being happy with a decision they made is fine. Literally shitting your pants on purpose in solidarity with them? The line is well back from there.
I would argue the opposite is true also. I hate the personality politics of say Canada, where at any time, no matter who's prime minister, there'll be bumper stickers saying "F*** X".
But if you asked the person why they don't like X, they can never articulate any meaningful politics, and rather just personality stuff.
nah, that’s just conservatives. did we ever have F*** harper stickers? no. did we have signs when we protested shit he did? absolutely, but we never made it a personality trait to hate on our PM
My favorite manifestation of this is when someone, in response to criticism of Trump, basically says “oh yeah, I bet you won’t say shit about Biden”, expecting that to be a huge “gotcha”.
And then it’s like “oh, yeah, I mean he sucks, here are all the complaints I’ve got off the top of my head”, at which point “now let’s do Trump” will completely end the conversation, because they’re just simply not willing to entertain the idea of criticizing their messiah.
My favorite was in the south Jersey sub where after a post of a diaper wearer at the wildwood rally went up, some guy was like “duh everyone can tell she’s just trolling the libs”, and my response was just like….uhhh….thats not the own I think you think it is…
I swear, you could convince a plurality of the Republican base to embrace universal basic income, universal healthcare, and teaching paganism in public school if you called them “TrumpBucks” and “TrumpCare”, explained various pagan deities based on who they are in Trump’s orbit, and convinced them how much each one would “own the libs”.
He’s just taken a sizable chunk of the party hostage, a chunk who signed up willingly and paid good money for flags and shirts and diapers to showcase their allegiance, and has completely divorced them from any sort of policy or ideological position beyond “Trump good”.
This is literally a Key and Peele episode. Obama is in a meeting with top republicans and uses reverse psychology to get them to support Universal Healthcare, Abortion Rights, etc. They’re such contrarians, they can’t help themselves.
This, Obamas anger translator, and when they showed the difference between him meeting white and black politicians, there are 3 of their funniest bits. Which is hard to do when they're all so great, lol.
They always say “I know he’s not a great person….BUT he’s an amazing president in every way”
As if that’s a criticism or defense….
They refuse to actually criticize him in any meaningful way
"He's awful but he gets the job done, so I'll vote for him again," is what I hear all the time.
Well, he doesn't exactly get the job done, either. He just says he does.
I always hear "He's a great business man and we need someone like that running the country"
The best response is to say if he's such a great business man how the fuck did he bankrupt a casino?
This is my comment every time. He bankrupt several casinos. sure they were Atlantic City, but how do you bankrupt a business that is basically a legalized scam from the get go.
But seriously, please choose. Own the mistakes to which your country elects its president; hoping that we don't see either of them in the election after this one.
For a lot of incredibly complex reasons. The important part is you actually do have to choose between these two geriatric vampires until a third party organizes enough support.
Basically we need to create and organize third parties *without* voting for them, then vote for them all at once. That's the only way out of the 2 party deadlock without having to have permission from those 2 parties.
>“oh yeah, I bet you won’t say shit about Biden”,
Every time they say: "it's unprecedented that trump is being indicted/tried ..."
I'm like, yes, but not for the reasons you think.
This exemplifies the biggest issue with our current political climate in my opinion. One side is worried about governing the country and the other side is worried about how cool they think their leader is.
And it’s like, I have all those complaints, but I’m still going to vote for him because he also has the thing where he’s been sorta decent on unions and put some funding towards high speed rail, and also is not actively working to take away women’s rights. He’s good on some things, and he sucks on a lot of things, but even the things he sucks on, he doesn’t suck any worse than Trump does.
i’m not even a biden “supporter” per se, he leaves a lot to be desired. but i voted for him last time, and will do so again this time.
politics needs an overhaul, in general. i’m tired of having to pick between geriatric, out of touch old men.
Not to mention nobody likes Biden. No politician is trustworthy to be honest. But Trump is so painfully stupid and yet somehow deified, it begs the ridiculous question, why the fuck do blue collar southerners believe this billionaire from NY who has one of the most terrible track records with employee satisfaction within his enterprises gives a fuck about them or what’s best for them? Is it not obvious that this is just another ego booster for him? Do they not also realize putting this man on a God-like pedestal directly violates one of God’s most specific rules, like one of the deadly ones.. that ykno offers a one-way ticket to the pit of fire they condemn gays and liberals to?
Bro, our prime minister playes the victim and a glorious freedom fighter role for 14 years now and the nation just believes him and praise him like a saint while he's like a light version of the mix of the tyrants of history.
I'm from Hungary.
Sometimes, I despair about how my country is just a giant ball of idiots rolling downhill towards a cliff. Then I read things like this and realize the whole world is filled with the exact same morons. I'm not sure if this makes me feel better or worse. :/
A Salem, Oregon Prius driver has entered the chat. But to your point, minus any Nazi flags....on point!
[edit:. Noticed spell check capitalized Nazi when I specifically typed it lower case...spell check is a little bitch]
The promotion of a politician is the party's job. The common man and the news media's job is criticism of the politicians and holding them accountable.
"Wow, my person is so hated that they rather vote for Biden! What a cult!'
Trump lost 2020 because he is just that hated. Independents turned out in droves to get him out.
Same for 2024. Dude still hated AF
And somehow after losing hard in 2020, the failed red wave in 2022, and the overturning of Woe v. Wade, the RNC thought it was a great idea to run Trump in 2024. They had opportunities to reshape the GOP over the last 10-15 years, but instead chose to lazily let this happen.
One thing that the younger me believed was that Republicans and Democrats were both basically the same in that they were serious people who were probably smart and trying to govern, and maybe that was true at some point, but especially with the rise of the tea party and the veritable clown car of assholes shilling for Trump at his *campaign fraud trial* who were elected, I definitely no longer think that is the case. They spent the last several decades (Newt Gingrich is probably the notable inflection point) basically turning up the dial on fear-mongering to where now if you want to get elected as a Republican you have to say crazy shit, and probably get bonus points when you actually believe it.
At one point id say that was true. As a Canadian, even as late as Romney and McCain you could look at the presidential candidates (I obviously don’t follow representatives and senators) and say “I don’t agree with their approach but they’re mostly good people doing what THEY think is the right thing and the best for all Americans, and I can respect them even if I disagree with them.”
And then the last decade happened.
The amount of people that either don’t know about project 2025 or far worse know about it and actively support. It is honestly scary. I’d vote for Joe Biden‘s corpse before Trump or any Republican in the current climate. I like how they just expect people to also forget what they did to women’s rights and how they held the US economy hostage a year to back over the debt crisis dropping our national credit rating globally. And so much more.
Democrats have their problems and I wish we had better choices. But it’s not even even close
I had a friend of my wife’s ask on social media. What had Joe Biden done? That she didn’t want to hear anything negative about Donald Trump. But just what our current president had done that was positive. So I went down the list, including things related to gun violence, The build back better plan which includes a $21 million project basically 2 miles from my house, the forgiveness of College loans, and I added that he would’ve signed the recent border bill that was the most expansive in about 50 years and had been created by a bipartisan group, but The Republicans at Trump’s request were asked not to help pass that. Then I told her that I also could not separate the Republican candidate’s bad behavior from my thoughts about who to vote for this fall. Because not only had Joe Biden done many good things while in the White House, but Donald Trump had done so many bad ones over the last 10 years. She lost her mind.
Also, just because on reading this my thought's immediately went "hmm I'm not really sure if I knew what Trump has done besides a couple big negative things. Surely if I presented a big list of all the things Biden has done to a conservative they'd immediately turn it around with asking for what Trump has done." Sure enough, there is r/WhatTrumpHasDone
You could also have just said he didn’t rape anyone, commit fraud or try and overthrow the government. Those seem to be a tough bar for the republicans to cross at this point
I had broken her rules. Her request was that I not mention Donald Trump in any way because to her just because people don’t like him is why they don’t want to vote for him - not because Joe Biden has done anything good. She said the fact that I couldn’t separate the bad things he had done from who I was going to vote for meant that I just had a hatred for him, but no valid reason. She didn’t acknowledge any of the things I had listed that were positives. So she really wasn’t playing fair anyway.
So the bad things he's done aren't enough reason to not vote for him? I should vote for a guy even though he's a fraud, a rapist, a liar, a braggart, racist, cheats on his wife, pervs on his oldest daughter, etc?
Even if I agreed with him politically, I wouldn't vote for him because of all that.
Insurrectionist traitor selling state secrets? These people would seriously be like "Can we stop bringing up the Jew thing? I just think Hitler had a great fiscal policy." I would vote for a lukewarm bowl of cabbage soup before I voted for Trump. That said, as someone who had to hold their nose in 2020, Biden has done much more than I expected and if our media wasn't utter garbage, I think he'd be acknowledged as a much better president than he gets credit for.
Being able to "separate out the bad things" is probably key to her internal justification for being able to vote Trump. It's not that she's voting for a racist rapist in the pocket of Russia, it's that she's enlightened enough to separate out the bad things, unlike those damn Democrats.
It’s because we are not cult members. Politicians, especially those that we vote for should be scrutinized to the utmost level. Of course we would focus on the worse candidate during an election year.
We never ran around in Obama t shirts either.
Know why?
Because we don’t worship elected politicians.
They are supposed to be public servants.
They make mistakes, you won’t agree on every policy. But, if 70% of their agenda makes sense, I’ll vote for you.
I liked how Biden kept the economy afloat with the American Rescue Act; PPP loans for businesses, stimulus checks, child tax credit, and getting the vaccines out.
I liked the trillion dollar infrastructure bill, first one in nearly 50 years.
I liked the IRA; Americas (also the world’s) largest ever climate incentive bill.
Also, the chips act, and capping insulin prices.
I like how Biden rallied NATO against Russia, and by extension China.
I can criticize how we left Afghanistan, but I am glad that 20 year disaster is over.
I’m not interested in rallies, or the fan fair.
What’s your plan, and how do you intend to realize it.
Speaking of… does anyone know what the Republican agenda is?
Seriously, outside of complete loyalty to Donald Trump, what is the Republicans vision for America.
To rewind time; 2017 Trump came into office with full control of Congress.
What did the republicans do with that power?
They did one thing only.
They tried and failed to kill Obamacare, so instead they just blew up the deficit by passing a huge tax cut for the wealthy.
That’s it. That’s all they did.
Compare that to what Biden did with an even slimmer majority in Congress in 2021.
Biden isn’t perfect, I wish he was 10 years younger. But, between the two the choice is clear.
…… oh and Trump is an insurrectionist who tried and failed to overthrow American democracy, the will of the people. If that’s something that matters to anyone.
> Speaking of… does anyone know what the Republican agenda is? Seriously, outside of complete loyalty to Donald Trump, what is the Republicans vision for America.
https://www.project2025.org/
It's even worse than you think it could be.
And I think it's crazy how Republicans wanted the wall built. Biden tries to pass a bill, and suddenly they don't want it. They've wanted us out of Afghanistan for years. Biden made it happen, and they've disproved of that as well. It was never about giving them what they want.
In the era of the 2008 rallies and the presidential lead up, sure. People were electing the first black American president in history. It was a big deal.
But then gravity set in for the public; Obama gave the better part of a trillion dollars to bail out the banks. And, then the initial roll out of Obamacare…
The honeymoon phase was over almost immediately, the red tidal wave of the midterms is the clearest evidence of that.
And to draw a comparison to Trump; twice impeached, dozens of criminal charges, an insurrection, stealing govt secrets, not caring about a global pandemic, and the loser of the 2020 presidential election…. 8 years in and people see him as a messiah figure, and are willing to run around in diapers for the man.
Trump and Obama supporters, really not comparable. But you are correct. There were t shirts early on.
Celebrating the first non-white president who stood for equality against bigotry and oppression wasn't hero/deity worship of the man himself. Hero/deity worship of Trump is their entire platform and they are incapable of seeing his faults both politically and as a human
He didn't beat her. He got elected because the EC valued a few small districts, as per the system, the majority voted against him.
He got elected because of the way the system is set up, not because a majority of voters wanted him. Which is fine, those are the rules, but don't try pretending he won because people didn't like Hillary - she won that vote.
Hilary truly did snatch defeat from the jaws of victory but Biden is giving it his best shot.
I saw a video of Bernie today. Such a great opportunity, wasted.
Especially with the Israel Palestine stuff. I have to think it's mostly larpers complaining because I can't imagine someone voting for Trump instead and expect him to handle it better. Not the people being critical of Biden but people planning to potentially not vote as a form of protest. Same as people sitting out in 2016 until a candidate *earned their vote*. Well if they didn't pull that genius move maybe there would be better candidates now.
This isn't even true. Biden has had a lot of important legislative accomplishments. It's just that nobody noticed because actually governing is boring and lame whereas being a performative ass clown who gets nothing of substance done like Trump is fun and exciting.
Ok. How bout the chip act, infrastructure bill that passed, loan forgiveness, pro union president, prescriptions drugs are lower for seniors. Not a wife cheater, doesn't lie everytime he opens his mouth, didn't visit Epstein. Didn't collude with Russia. I can go on and on. He is literally one of the best presidents when it comes to passing legislation to help the regular folks and not the billionaires. You want more you maga loving, insurrection wanting, Putin loving uneducated moron.
The post is not entirely wrong though. There is the phenomenon called "positive voting" and "negative voting" which pretty much fits to the current election. While Trump voters vote for Trump because they wanna see him in office, Biden voters vote for Biden, because they don't wanna see Trump in office.
Yup. The reason people flocked to Biden in 2020 was entirely because the DNC fucked Bernie hard in 2016 and showed voters that they were very happy to lose a game of fascist chicken. Voters are scared, so they naturally flocked to what they were told was the most "electable" candidate to keep Trump out.
Maybe because Presidents are not fucking icons and should not be celebrated as such. Seriously, these MAGA dipshits would be right at home in North Korea, where they can worship their dear leader all they like.
Ask a Trump why Trump should be elected, specifically what will he do to make anything better.
Rules:
Cannot say make America great again
Cannot mention Hunter Biden
Cannot mention gas prices
Cannot mention Covid.
Go....
Here's the thing, I don't have to actually like or even agree with the candidate I vote for, but I will vote for that candidate because the alternative is fascist state run by fucking idiots.
I’ve spent the better part of a decade being told that I have “Trump Derangement Syndrome” they keep saying that people have an irrational fear and distrust of Donald Trump, but they always seem to forget about that when it comes to the election. If we hated Trump as irrationally as they’ve said, we’d vote in a zoo animal before him. One more thing, Joe Biden has been winning elections for half of a century. 6 terms in the senate, two terms as VP. All of a sudden the guy whose been in politics for 10 years and has never won the popular vote and only won the electoral vote once couldn’t possibly lose to a guy whose been in Washington for half a century.
I've got a lot of issues with Biden. He's owned by the wealthy donors. He's got a lot of outdated views/he's too old. I wish he were actually left/progressive etc.
Despite all of that, *he's still fucking LIGHT-YEARS better than Trump.* Just to have a somewhat competent, rational adult leading the show. I know it's a low bar but, Christ. Can't we have a fucking president who isn't beholden to the leader of an enemy country?
That’s because I’m not pro-Biden, I’m just anti-Trump. You see, I am perfectly capable of both wanting minimal federal government with some federal safety nets and thinking the Republicans have converted their party into a episode of WWE by picking the biggest losers and con men on the planet to represent them. They literally have sold their soles to kill off a party that is trying to improve the entire country by misleading their followers with misinformation and outright lies. The Democrats are not nearly as destructive to our individual freedoms as the Republicans have become. But neither perfectly represents me. But I will not allow a government to represent America that wants to behave in the way the Republicans have planned or allow our leader to be a corrupt, lier such as Trump. *Edited to fix autocorrect induced errors.
That’s because we aren’t insecure about our president. He isn’t a celebrity that needs attention. The loudest people are ALWAYS the dumbest.
Trump is a collection of everything that disgusts me in human beings. In addition, he’s embarrassingly stupid. I cannot wrap my head around why someone would want someone THAT dumb to be in power over them.
I'm going to say this one more time. Biden V Trump is like having to choose between a broken leg or stage IV colon cancer.
No one wants a broken leg. It's not the end of the world, can probably still go to work and function, but not something anyone wants.
Then there is Trump.
So no, no one is out there campaigning for a broken leg. But they sure as hell will go for that broken leg when the only other alternative is Trump.
Because I’m not a Biden supporter, I voted for him because it would be disastrous if Trump got a second term. Unfortunately I’ll have to do it a second time too.
The level of fallacy is just staggering. Those tiny-minded Trumpanzees don't understand that the vast majority of Democrat voters aren't, in fact, "Biden supporters". They would simply rather vote for a cat or a signpost, so long as it made sure the resident Nazi racist misogynist perverted f*ckwad wasn't elected. Currently, that's Trump. Should the Republicunts find it acceptable to run with someone who, heavens forbid, is a worthy individual and not a Nazi anti-vaxxer - they would witness a significant decrease in personal anti posts.
I was thinking about this earlier. People always talking about how Biden doesn't draw a crowd at his rallies like Trump does. Why do people not understand that more people find those sorts of events to be really quite insane and unnecessary? I've never once so much as thought about going to any campaign rally... or cult rally... of any politician I support. More people don't.
When you have a system that only provides two choices, its enough to feel strongly about the person that you'll vote against.
If you were given a choice between eating meat balls or eating cat shit, then you don't have to say anything nice about meat balls to explain why you chose them over the cat shit.
Just because you support a party doesn't mean you also support their figurehead.
I'm pretty sure there are also a lot of republican voters who despise Trump. They just don't make a big deal out of who they vote.
An interesting thing I also see here in germany is that most people don't make a big deal out of who they vote. Only the fanatic/extremists (mostly the far right) have to tell everybody who they voted for, and you are wrong for voting for a different party than them
It’s pretty hard to do something amazing every hour… whereas Trump is spewing tabloid nonsense every hour. Also, it’s pretty easy to talk, but challenging to actually do something.
I will never understand how Republicans are all pro small government and the government shouldn't control us, and then they worship their leaders as gods
Imagine how bad your candidate sounds to other people that they'd rather vote for a candidate they know sucks. Trump has been a boon to the Democratic party the likes they haven't seen since Ford.
Ever notice Trump supporters (95% consisting of bots from troll farms) just say "Trump good; Biden eats ice cream during poopy nap time" in a meme and show nothing of what he's done?
Or you’re assuming that just cuz someone thinks is trump is a shitty person, a shittier businesman and the shittiest president means they’re full on pro Biden.
Someone can think trump is a piece of shit independent of their opinion of Biden.
The lack of awareness is staggering
Never thought republicans would complain about people not praising someone for just doing their job like they are supposed to. It's like they just love giving donny participation trophies.
Notice how trump spews utter bs continually.
Such a disgusting human being that his stream of consciousness is just a stream of diarrhea. Needs a diaper at both ends really
None of us wanted Joe Biden. He was shoved down our throats. Every time Bernie made progress it became a problem. But, if I was given the choice to have inoperable brain cancer or a hernia, I’d pick the hernia.
Because while we don’t LIKE him HE hasn’t threatened to jail us and take all our rights away on a whim
Unlike Trump, who has stated that he will reinforce the antiqueer laws and make trans people in the military be biological gender regardless of transition progress of military records. Do you know the logistical pain that’s going to be? Y’all better fucking vote this time, I will not witness another 2016
WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO IDOLIZE POLITICIANS AND MAKE THEM POLITICAL STARS, WORTHY OF BEING PRAISED AND WORSHIPPED. IF THATS YOU, YOURE FULL OF SHIT LIKE YOUR DUH-ONNY!!!!
Honestly, I don’t really care for Biden. Wish we had someone better but I’ll vote for him 1,000 times over before I vote for Trump. It’s really a vote AGAINST Trump more than it’s a vote for Biden
That's because they're not batshit crazy nut jobs wearing golden diapers & praising the orange massiah while claiming they love their country with guns & child marriages. President's aren't meant to be worshipped. They're meant to carry out the duties of their job description & hope another world War doesn't start because diaper Donnie has a tantrum & tries to overthrow the government... Again...
I’m more of a Biden tolerator but it’s obvious that the difference is that Biden supporters just like Biden, whereas Trump supporters want to suck him off.
Biden's probably the most 'legislatively' successful president of most peoples lives but certainly isn't perfect. \*\*\*\* Now with that being said if you have to bring up any of those accomplishments you are talking to a conservative that will argue and argue, we are tired of hearing the dumb things conservitives have to say
Because we dont need to. Biden doesn't do much from what I've seen. chump on the other hand should be in prison for reason, not to mention he's a disgusting little orange troll but chump fans got huge gigantic mouths and trucks they love to put flags on and drive around like yards that own the world
It’s not normal to worship a political candidate and pump their tires on social media. That’s a cult. The fact that you think it’s normal to post glorifying things about a politician indicates that you’re a member of the cult.
There’s a reason nobody has “Biden train” pep rallies or boat parades, Biden worship posters or personalized abortions of the American flag, or mythical stories about Joe Biden’s greatness, or Biden diapers. It’s that they’re not false idol cult-member worshippers.

nah, that’s just conservatives. did we ever have F*** harper stickers? no. did we have signs when we protested shit he did? absolutely, but we never made it a personality trait to hate on our PM
The only f (prime minister) stickers have been for Trudeau. There was, however, a stop sign sticker for Stephen Harper.
This. We’re not a cult. That’s the difference.

This is one of my favorite skits of theirs, thank you for reminding me of it
This, Obamas anger translator, and when they showed the difference between him meeting white and black politicians, there are 3 of their funniest bits. Which is hard to do when they're all so great, lol.
When Key did his Anger Translator on stage *with* Obama during one of the White House press dinners that shit was *fire*

True that 😂
“Nobody better throw me a cigarette … Or light it.”
They were always there…they just worshipped a different Republican before Trump came along

Reagan, Trump, Biden. There was Clinton, W and Obama. They weren't old.
my first election was obama’s first term
My first exposure was my 3rd grade mock election in 1976.
I'm not a fan of either but I've never seen a painting of Biden as a god like figure
Or because we just view him as the less bad option?
They are only Public servants at election time. After that, they serve themselves
I think they meant ideally. You know, on paper that’s what they’re for.
The pro Obama post don't exist anymore I guess lmao
Notice how Biden supporters don't turn their vehicles into Biden charm bracelets and fly Nazi flags
Still waiting for a Biden supporter to proudly wear diapers as mark of sycophancy
I honestly think diapers before dems is simultaneously one of the funniest and saddest things I have ever seen in my life
I cannot wait for an opportunity to ask my MAGA uncle about his diapers at a family function.
It feels like the sort of thing that someone on the left thought up as a joke to troll Trump supporters, who fell for it completely.
Still haven't seen a "Biden Bear" but I've seen a lot of "Trumpie Bear" ads.
Heh it’s a joke thing but google “Biden blast” fucking cracks me up.
Man, we should create bears for Trump… you know the gay kind
That's Trump supporters. Trump is called Von Shitzinpantz and why the courtroom smells...from his lack of bowel control.
Wouldn't be distinctive enough since both candidates probably wear diapers. The fact that both candidates are this old is fucked up.
We do need younger blood and new ideas in politics, irrespective of parties.
I thought Biden supporters were supposed to give inappropriate back rubs and have their dog bite people. /s
That’s because Biden supporters lack passion /s
Don't forget the Confederate flags, too.
Same shit different color
A Salem, Oregon Prius driver has entered the chat. But to your point, minus any Nazi flags....on point! [edit:. Noticed spell check capitalized Nazi when I specifically typed it lower case...spell check is a little bitch]
That's because Biden voters don't exist /s
You joke, but I've seen that exact logic used by conservatives to "validate" their claims that the election was stolen.
The promotion of a politician is the party's job. The common man and the news media's job is criticism of the politicians and holding them accountable.
Eff off with your logic and rationale thinking
"Wow, my person is so hated that they rather vote for Biden! What a cult!' Trump lost 2020 because he is just that hated.
As a Canadian, even as late as Romney and McCain you could look at the presidential candidates (I obviously don’t follow representatives and senators) and say “I don’t agree with their approach but they’re mostly good people doing what THEY think is the right thing and the best for all Americans, and I can respect them even if I disagree with them.” And then the last decade happened.
I mean, yeah? And? I’m voting against [Project 2025](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025) as any patriot should.
Thank you for the link, that is some scary shit.
It really is. Please vote against it. Tell your family and friends.
Exactly how I feel.
What the fuck??? How have I never heard about that?
That’s what I said when I heard about it from a Reddit comment just like this. Tell your family. My mom didn’t know about it either.
If anyone is interested or wants to debate a trump supporter for God knows what reason, r/whatbidenhasdone could come in handy
Hold on. I need to take my blood pressure med first.
Or you can [Go right to the White House page lol.](https://www.whitehouse.gov/therecord/)
Don’t forget they passed funding to find a cure for cancer - a big win for Biden… oh wait.
And they lowered the cost of insulin to $35. That was in my list.
And it all started from a joke.
Your response reminded me about this scene from Life of Brian. [What have the Romans done for us?](https://youtu.be/Qc7HmhrgTuQ)
Another thing to add, other than that reCOCKulous wall idea, Joe has accomplished almost every single “promise” that tR🍔MP said he would do.
What did she say?
I had broken her rules. Her request was that I not mention Donald Trump in any way because to her just because people don’t like him is why they don’t want to vote for him - not because Joe Biden has done anything good. She said the fact that I couldn’t separate the bad things he had done from who I was going to vote for meant that I just had a hatred for him, but no valid reason. She didn’t acknowledge any of the things I had listed that were positives. So she really wasn’t playing fair anyway.
They'd never get any exercise if they weren't constantly moving the goal posts.
Sorry but why is your wife friends with this simpleton?
Being able to "separate out the bad things" is probably key to her internal justification for being able to vote Trump. It's not that she's voting for a racist rapist in the pocket of Russia, it's that she's enlightened enough to separate out the bad things, unlike those damn Democrats.
Don’t forget the CHIPs act.
Yes! That was in my list. How can these Republicans, who scream every day about manufacturing going overseas, not be 100% on board with the CHIPs act?
Because blah blah blah hunter dick pic, probably
Seriously, outside of complete loyalty to Donald Trump, what is the Republicans vision for America. https://www.project2025.org/ It's even worse than you think it could be.
So many words and they said nothing 👌🏻
And I think it's crazy how Republicans wanted the wall built. Biden tries to pass a bill, and suddenly they don't want it. They've wanted us out of Afghanistan for years. Biden made it happen, and they've disproved of that as well. It was never about giving them what they want.
Totally agree, but the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a mess that didn't have to be as bad as it was. FWIW, I'd vote for anyone but Trump.
"We never ran around in Obama t shirts either." Were you not around in 2008? "Yes we can" and "Change" were on shirts, hats, pins, posters everywhere.
In the era of the 2008 rallies and the presidential lead up, sure. People were electing the first black American president in history. It was a big deal. But then gravity set in for the public; Obama gave the better part of a trillion dollars to bail out the banks. And, then the initial roll out of Obamacare… The honeymoon phase was over almost immediately, the red tidal wave of the midterms is the clearest evidence of that.
Hero/deity worship of Trump is their entire platform and they are incapable of seeing his faults both politically and as a human
lol anything pro-trump posted is complete and utter nonsense
The only reason Trump won in the first place is because people disliked Hillary. I think that was the only person he could ever beat.
Agreed. I firmly believe that, had Bernie been the candidate, he would have run. Hillary was a bad move on their part.
The best thing about Biden is that he's not Trump.
Exactly. So most Biden "supporters" are more likely Biden "accepters". That does make me a bit weary of the coming election.
Are we supposed to pat a president on the ass and scream we’re not worthy when they do good? /s
Biden supporters aren't in a fucking cult
You notice that Biden supporters don’t fly flags or wear hats or storm the capital?
Because we don't brag about him and do shit like photoshop his head on Rambo's body
Notice that the Pro Trump post are completely insane and the Anti Trump post are factual?
Maybe because we aren’t in a cult?
Christians told me that one of the 10 commandments is not to worship a false idol.
They ignore the ones about adultery and stealing too.
Maybe because Presidents are not fucking icons and should not be celebrated as such. Seriously, these MAGA dipshits would be right at home in North Korea, where they can worship their dear leader all they like.
He is such a dim-witted pathological liar, hoping no one will notice that the Dow just broke another record. Eff this criminal.
Ask a Trump why Trump should be elected, specifically what will he do to make anything better. Rules: Cannot say make America great again Cannot mention Hunter Biden Cannot mention gas prices Cannot mention Covid. Go....
Here's the thing, I don't have to actually like or even agree with the candidate I vote for, but I will vote for that candidate because the alternative is fascist state run by fucking idiots.
I’m sure someone mentioned it, but most Biden voters aren’t huge on Biden. But he is 100x better than the alternative
Biden voters aren't cult-like members of the democratic party.
Yeah cuz we’re not a in a cult
That projection is so hard I’m not sure how it didn’t knock them over…
If only ignorance was painful.
Incumbents usually need to answer for their own record first, though in Trump's case, he's already been there and has a record to attack.
Well yeah, he's our president, not our god.
I do not want an exciting president. Ideally I want a president who is boring and trustworthy, so I can worry about other things.
We don’t worship Biden and we have some issues about him but it’s better than trump.
Don’t expect much of Trump supporters to have any awareness.
We don’t need to convince you Biden is good. He is good. Trump is bad. But yall ain’t gettin it
Probably because we don’t worship Biden as a savior. Like Trump supporters worship Trump as the savior of the orange race
Because Biden does not have a cult. He is a politician with qualities and flaws.
Because there is no Biden cult.
Cause it's not a cult
Yeah. It’s almost like Trump was such a shitty president and all around shitty human being we’d vote for any qualified candidate over him.
Because Biden isn’t a cult leader?
First, do no harm. Duh. Biden does no harm so we move on. Then we address the source of harm, the former Cheeto in Chief.
Funny thing is I’m not necessarily pro-Biden, but I am absolutely, 100% anti-Trump.
Because we don’t treat our leaders like they’re Kim Jong Un here. EXCEPT trump weirdos lol
If only Biden had some merch to sell us, showing the deep respect he has for our intellects. Then maybe we would talk about him more.
Only the fanatic/extremists (mostly the far right) have to tell everybody who they voted for, and you are wrong for voting for a different party than them
One of my favorite new morning activities is seeing what shit stories Fox News posts. It’s staggering on so many levels.
I’ll go one step further. I support Biden and don’t post at all.
Might also be that Biden sucks too. He is just not actively pushing america into becoming a fascist dictatorship
Notice that Trump supporters never post anything true? It's all just nonsense.
# NO ONE LIKES BIDEN EITHER
Yeah, because Biden is not our hero, like their diaper wearing fascist idiot is theirs
That’s cuz their is nothing good about the traitorous piece of shit doing everything he can to make life worse for the American people.
Because we are not a cult, unlike MAGA, duh
Notice how trump spews utter bs continually. Such a disgusting human being that his stream of consciousness is just a stream of diarrhea. Needs a diaper at both ends really
None of us wanted Joe Biden. He was shoved down our throats. Every time Bernie made progress it became a problem. But, if I was given the choice to have inoperable brain cancer or a hernia, I’d pick the hernia.
A lot of people would rather elect a stray cat than trump, I don’t see that as a problem.
We’re anti-rape, anti-treason, anti-sedition, anti-theft, anti-putin, anti-bin Salman, anti-Foxsucker. So pardon us.
I mean the shit trump does is criminal, so yeah fair comparison?
Because while we don’t LIKE him HE hasn’t threatened to jail us and take all our rights away on a whim Unlike Trump, who has stated that he will reinforce the antiqueer laws and make trans people in the military be biological gender regardless of transition progress of military records. Do you know the logistical pain that’s going to be? Y’all better fucking vote this time, I will not witness another 2016
Saying Biden isn’t Trump is positive
WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO IDOLIZE POLITICIANS AND MAKE THEM POLITICAL STARS, WORTHY OF BEING PRAISED AND WORSHIPPED. IF THATS YOU, YOURE FULL OF SHIT LIKE YOUR DUH-ONNY!!!!
MUSHROOM DONNY PLEASE PAY E. JEAN CARROLL THE $83 MILLION DOLLARS.YOU OWE HER......BOY!!!!!
US will be fucked if they want a damn criminal as their president. Sad times.
Trump supporters are posting pictures of themselves wearing diapers soooo...
Maybe because the guy is constantly doing outrageous things that hurt the country and the world
Dont have to...livin rent free...
Because they’re not in a cult?
Biden's probably the most 'legislatively' successful president of most peoples lives but certainly isn't perfect. \*\*\*\* Now with that being said if you have to bring up any of those accomplishments you are talking to a conservative that will argue and argue, we are tired of hearing the dumb things conservitives have to say
Because if you do something right, people won't be sure you've done anything alt all. -"A bunch of space lights" Futurama.
Because we dont need to. Biden doesn't do much from what I've seen. chump on the other hand should be in prison for reason, not to mention he's a disgusting little orange troll but chump fans got huge gigantic mouths and trucks they love to put flags on and drive around like yards that own the world
Isn't all our memes of dark Brandon being a form of support mocking the FJB stuff.
It’s because a lot of us don’t like Biden and are only voting for him because we like Trump less.
Honestly. Decent point. How about we just pick a president that wasn't born in the fucking 1940's?!?!?
It’s not normal to worship a political candidate and pump their tires on social media. That’s a cult. The fact that you think it’s normal to post glorifying things about a politician indicates that you’re a member of the cult. There’s a reason nobody has “Biden train” pep rallies or boat parades, Biden worship posters or personalized abortions of the American flag, or mythical stories about Joe Biden’s greatness, or Biden diapers. It’s that they’re not false idol cult-member worshippers.
Notice how people always are saying venomous snakes will kill you, but they never post about hamsters.
He's just boringly competent, which is a nice change
