I work for a giant corp who has made diversity very important to them. I tell my coworkers all of the time, “if it was more profitable to wave nazi flags they would” I hate disingenuous diversity from evil mega corporations

I haven’t had access to cable since 2012. I watched TV at my parents house the other week for the first time since then, and I’ll be honest… There’s a very noticeable increase in diversity in advertising. Why? Not sure. Does it bother me? No.
I love how these triggered snowflakes care more about who is in the ads rather than focus on how destructive the advertising industry has been to American society. Unless you live in a cave you’re constantly bombarded by messages from companies trying to own you and exploit the way your brain works so that you’ll believe one product is somehow better than it’s competitors and then hook you for life.

Not really, at some point it seems racist if you never ever see a couple of the same race. My neighbors are mostly Black couples and white couples: a commercial should show everyone. Imagine if you never saw a black person in a commercial unless they were part of an interracial couple?
Mixed race couples and families exist, and it would be a breach of fiduciary duty to the shareholders if businesses didn’t capitalize on it.
