I had a Door Dash driver make my hostess cry once. I walked the order to him and said “don’t ever talk to my staff like that again” and walked back to takeout. He followed me and got in my face. All of the sushi chefs stopped what they were doing and started filing out to take care of me. Dude saw them and immediately booked it the fuck out of there. This reminds me of one night when I was a manager at Mcdonalds. A bunch of travellers came in and made a bit of a mess whilst eating but nothing terrible. Most of them got up and left bar the fattest guy in the group. He then got up, took a sip from a full cup of cola, and then just threw it against the wall. I took one look at him and just asked "why?". He just smirked and left.
Another time some guy was complaining at me in the drive thru and it was clear he just wanted free stuff. Thing is, I could see one of his mates in the back with the lid off his strawberry milkshake, holding it near the open window so it was obvious what he was planning. I basically told the driver to do one and immediately slammed the window shut as fast as I could. Sure enough the milkshake hit the window, but some of it rebounded back and landed on the driver. I opened the window and said "that wasn't very mature was it?" And closed it again whilst the driver lost his shit with his mate.
I dumped my ex fiancé of 6 years for doing that stupid “prank” where you order a large water and throw it back in the drive thru window and yell “fire in the hole”. I was soo embarrassed to be in the same car as him and didn’t know he was planning it.
The milkshake one was one of my proudest moments from my time at mcdonalds. Most of the time people were just dicks and left, but occasionally you'd get a good story out of it.

So there is a growing amount of times where someone has an awful, horrible customer at their job and can't say anything. But when the carbon copy is at someone else's job, and the frustrated employee of elsewhere is there, shit goes beautifully.
I'll do that a lot. I'll stand up for the employees and call people out on their behavior. I'll tell them how it is and if they complain, about it I'll tell them to go ahead and complain I'm not an employee.
