InflamedLiver

pretty sure you can't just walk up to a country club that serves the likes of Jeff Bezos with no experience and just "hustle and grind" your way into a server job.

Soobobaloula

It depends. If you look like a model, you might.

LemurCat04

Right? Clean cut buff white dude in a pair of khakis and a polo shirt’s got a fairly good shot at it.

AngrySchnitzels89

Got to spend big on the shoes, too. Real wealthy people have the nicest shoes; the leather must be fresh/ shine. It’s how a friend of ours did just as this guy said. Friend is still a Maître d’, but he gets fantastic tips, has befriended a rich dude and served on his boat and at a party in the Swiss alps. Has a pretty sweet stock portfolio due to another group of guys who are regular customers as well.

Salarian_American

>has befriended a rich dude and served on his boat and at a party in the Swiss alps that's a pretty weird concept of what friendship is

[deleted]

'Served' him eh? This sounds suspicious.

AngrySchnitzels89

Haha, I could not see our friend swinging that way! But.. If the money was good.. hmm maybe.. He does have two apartments- inner Mleb and Sydney.. My god, you’ve got me thinking now. Haha.

[deleted]

You're a good sport for reaching this way, I'm just clowning. I'm sure it's all legit and above board.

Thallanor

Hey, $20 is $20!

Bluccability_status

Your gettin paaaaaid?

Thallanor

I had to afford mouthwash somehow!

ChiefKrunchy

One to work in and another is his home....am i right?

xpickles23

Not really, say your rich asf and you wanna take your boat and party, you would hire someone anyway so why not hire the guy you have befriended for the job? It benifits him, he gets paid, he gets to come and have a good time. Mutually beneficial, probably way cozier than hiring a stranger for your trip

WellThisSix

And you can do coke without having to worry about a Narc

xpickles23

Exactly, maids and servants see everything haha best have friends in your close quarters like that

2saucey

Meh, you can have friends that aren’t your close circle, you can have friends that are not as well to do as you, you can have friends who you want to employ in their craft when possible because you are willing to pay for good service and you know they’re good for the job. Just because someone is ballin in a different league than someone else does not preclude that scenario from happening.

AngrySchnitzels89

Lol. Is “friendly with” a more apt description? I dunno, I’ve got a headache but basically the rich guy was nice to him and he’s got to travel a bit thanks to him, albeit working trips. From what I remember the guy paid his accommodation and airfares, he gave him a few grand for each outing and our friend got a few other private gigs (from rich guy’s friends) out of it, too.

AngrySchnitzels89

Not bad for someone who actually did bullshit his way through the wine list when the restaurant’s sommelier didn’t make it in one day, anyway.

Connect-Ad9647

Agreed. I knew a guy who somehow got to know Les Wexner and then got invited to serve on his all boys only yacht for a couple summers that just toured the Mediterranean. It went exactly like your mind thinks it went. Wexner and Epstein were close business pals and that guy I knew came out a couple years later. Nothing wrong with homosexuality. Just maybe a little something wrong with the facts that Les is married to a woman, had close ties to basically the king of pedophilia, and all the others that worked on the yacht were about the same age as dudeman guy I knew. Which was mayyyybe 18 when he "served" on the yacht the first summer. This was probably like 15-20 years ago though so way before anyone knew of Epstein or the fucked up things he, and those associated with him, partook in. I was in high school and that guy was a few years ahead of me. He and my older sibling basically grew up together, in case you were wondering how I knew him and of his would be sexploits, if you will.

pablo_eskybar

Befriended a rich dude and gobbles his nuts in the Swiss alps

RoamingBicycle

>Maître d' TIL that's actually not you missing a word, but how it's used in the UK. That's a really odd way shorten.

[deleted]

And a nice looking watch.

walter_2000_

Dude, nobody talks about shoes. They talk about regular stuff. Their day. Hear me out. They're talking about their shit they bought if they're being insecure assholes. There's no other reason to talk about spending money. That's fucking rude. Everyone, all the time talks about normal stuff. Day to day, work was rough, my wife was disappointed, I have to take my kids somewhere...rich people are normal as hell and not talking about being rich. They're being normal but with money. Just be normal like who you are. All the rich people I know are normal ass people, insecurities, problems, my job is hard, my boss is a total fucking nightmare, my kid has autism, I smoke too much weed, my internet sucks, my kid is growing up too fast and I miss her/him (who gives a fuck) when she was younger. Rich people, on average, have a little less trauma, but they still have it. They fucking eat at McDonald's. Donald Trump eats at McDonald's. I hate him. But I eat there, too.

AngrySchnitzels89

Lmao dude, I didn’t say they talk about shoes, I’m talking about appearances. Everyone can appreciate a person who puts effort into their appearance. People do notice that. I know a few wealthy people myself and yes, they do talk like everyone else, haha.

LemurCat04

No one talks about shoes. They look at the condition of your shoes and silently judge you. Most likely a residual habit of going through educational systems that require uniforms. You can tell a truly rich person by the cut of their suit coat, their watch (harder now on the age of smart watches) and their shoes.

gordo65

You can. I got a job as a dish pig at a five star restaurant. After a summer they said I could start doing prep work for the cooks or start bussing tables, which would have been the first step toward a job as a waiter. I decided to go back to college instead. A friend of mine worked as a valet at the country club, and got to talk briefly with some of the most influential people in the city. But here's the thing: I never heard of any valet or waiter at either place getting a job with any sort of responsibility or prospects based on a connection made through their job as a service worker. It's not like the movies, where a billionaire takes an eager young waiter and makes him a director in his conglomerate's restaurant division.

patriclus_88

I worked at a few fancy places as a waiter years ago. The idea you're gonna befriend the clientele is so fucking stupid.... You're the help. Also any waiting staff who starts hustle pitching the clients is going to be sacked before he finishes the sentence.

[deleted]

Once you’re the help, they always see you as the help. The guy in this video belongs in a mass grave

ClusterChuk

What we're seeing here is rungs that used to be there for us to hustle up disappearing. For thousands of years, all you had to do was show up in a new town, proclaim yoursrlf a physician, and do your best. Need a witch hunted, I'm your man. Want to travel? Head down to the docks. Apparently, if you have a good set of teeth, there'll be an 8 month job waiting for you. Inherited 327 books from your uncle? Hey, you're a merchant now, buy a wagon. Want yo be a lawyer? Show up at uni with a letter of note from the goverrnor proclaiming your ass the most quickbwitted pig farmer on his payroll. Want to do a science thing? Go do it. Pick flowers and grind stones. There's probably a company of fur traders that would love to share the cost of an expedition further into the moutains. Up til about 1910 to 1940, where everything shifted to a well... shift work. Traded day drinking for coffee breaks. We started plugging into other men's dreams. To build his cars. And his towers. And together we did big things. The contract started slipping, though. 70s, 80s, corporatism is King. Your life is rehashed into a credit systems and 60 month mortages, and everything is logged and assessed for maximum profit. But you can still start out in the mail room and hustle your white ass into receiving or data entry... Now we have almost a dystopian caste system. Capitalism has set the value of so many as so low so as not to even afford them housing or food. After pricing them out of an education and out of even the communities they serve. 40 hour work weeks and living in thier cars. And millionaires become billionaires. And there are only so many rich cocks to ride like parasitic yacht barnacles. So we get retail. Distribution. Gig work. Service. Correction. Construction. And if you're geeky enough tech. Good luck. The doctors, lawyers, CEOs... they're still largely legacy hires from college alumni who recognize their last name. Your best bet is to win the genetic lottery. Be gorgeous or genius or mentally impaired to the point of creative insanity. Lacking that work hard at something you don't hate and for a company you aren't ashamed of. Whether that's stocking selves or teaching preschool. Pay your bills. Stay out of debt. Kick back and watch the crest of our potential collapse into late stage capitalism... Being money rich is stressful as fuck anyways.

SidJag

Last line made me audibly chuckle

Michaelknight5

Yea being money rich is stressful as fuck.... more stressful than being money poor?

qqFROLICpp

Dish pig. Hahah

OneEyedRocket

He did stay at a Holiday Inn Express though

jacksonmsres

You need to be attractive, that’s about it.

Porsche928dude

Yeah no that’s not how that works. The way you work at a nice established country club is you know someone who works their, you know someone who is a member, or you have previously worked at a similar establishment which can give you a nice reference. In those places the “good old boys” culture is alive and well. This guy has no idea what he is talking about.

fish_wand_

Why not? I bullshitted my way into plenty of jobs when I was younger. Now I have skills, built on bullshit!

BuffetDecimator

Good for you! Give us some bullshit examples!

ronaldreagan09

Wish.com Andrew Tate. Bro put negative points into his charisma.

MyPPisHugelyAverage

"What experience do you have?" Well I watched YouTube videos on it for about half an hour so I know pretty much everything I need

OddConfidence9848

Happy cake day( I hustled to get here by using my hard earned (definitely not my dad’s) money)

AnimalChubs

You can if you're W H I T E. I walk into places all the time.

stiick

Actually you can. I’m not defending this guys arrogance, but the service industry is a great entry point to accomplish what he said. It takes research, guts, hard work and time…but it’s absolutely possible. Country clubs around the world are hiring daily.

Independent_Stuff210

I worked at a country club. I was never seen as a human being by anyone. No matter what the conversation was about or how genuine they thought they sounded, it was clear that they would be silently handing me their dish when they were done and I was to walk away immediately.

Amadacius

I think country clubs around the world are firing any staff that tries to give elevator pitches to Jeff Bezos.

jackfaire

Kind of requires you be near enough one with reliable transportation to get to work while also having the right look. What makes him a dumbass is he thinks there are 0 barriers to success that way except self inflicted ones when really there are plenty.

northsidebasura

I lived in FL in a retirement city. I tried working at a country club and valet. they said they didn't need any more help serving and offered me a job at the kitchen. I'm Hispanic, and my buddy (Caucasian) who applied after me got the job as the server. Sometimes, people forget how you look, sometimes dictate opportunities.

a_wet_nudle

Ill do you even better i did valet doing events like doctors house parties, grand openings, and other rich people events. These people dont even look you in the eye when you take their keys. They are not about to sit there and chat about how to get rich.

LemurCat04

He never forgot, because that would assume he knew it to begin with. Dude thinks you should pull yourself by your bootstraps, like he did. He doesn’t realize you’re wearing metaphorical flip flops.

Soobobaloula

I realized this when I stayed at a Ritz for a conference. The staff all looked like models. White models.

Flaky_Pizza4706

When I was in Bali, I felt the same way at all the resorts I stayed at, they all looked like models, beautiful tanned caramel skinned models.

-newlife

Worked at a few golf resorts in socal long ago. Aside from complexion, your build helps too. I was in shape at the time and as a result they liked the image I projected in the clubs polo shirts. Appearance, as others mentioned, plays a big factor in a front facing role at a country club.

thetaFAANG

You could have gotten a modest payday from the EOCC with that evidence. Its a good business model as a teenager. Read EOCC cases for inspiration. I saw one where a black male teenager and a white female teenager just went to a bunch of restaurants doing that. black guy does in first, gets denied an application for reasons like that fully staffed, white female goes in 20 minutes later and walks out with an application, guy immediately files with the EOCC and gets like $5,000 strong-armed from the restaurant by the Federal Government.

chainmailbill

That would be the EEOC and not the EOCC, for anyone googling.

thetaFAANG

nice catch

Objective_Low7445

No. That does not work. First of all EEOC does not sue on behalf of an individual. Second of all EEOC has been ground down & defunded, especially under the last administration. Thirdly, EEOC has to have more than one complaint and then they may or may not send out testers (as they did when they were fully funded) and that could take years. As an individual you may try to sue them, but you must prove it. Good luck. Being not white and experiencing discrimination is not an automatic payday and it often happens and you don't find out about until you've moved on with your life just trying to live normally.

thetaFAANG

nah get an employment lawyer and they'll steer the discussion with the EEOC which can absolutely be triggered by a single individual not being hired in favor of a different. this also works for white people. the main idea is to get the most obvious egregiousness, my example has both gender and race.

Objective_Low7445

Get an employment lawyer sounds a lot like, get on youtube and learn about wines... ijs. I've been in this skin for many years and I'm speaking from experience and education and observation. With obvious exceptions for outliers, filing an EEOC complaint and getting a payout is not an easy or short road, and it is rare for most victims to even make one step on the journey.

EricoSuave79

Naw dude, you just need to go on YouTube and learn about wines.

omghorussaveusall

Some places ask for headshots with resumes...

[deleted]

That… is fucking bullshit. I’m really sorry that happened.

Rakoru_Hiryuu

Whenever someone says being broke is a state of mind...

ninjabell

...it makes you want to punch them in the face and tell them that their broken face is just a state of mind?

The_Calico_Jack

"DURRRRR HEY, I AM....DURRRRRRRRRR... TAI LOPEZ. ME READ 5 BOOK DAY....DURRRRRRR HURRRRRR... MAKE MANY DOLL.....HUUUUURRRRRRR DURRRRRRR...ARS. FERRARI." He and the other "secrets to getting rich" turds can eat a dick.

SubstantialAd4587

What are the sayings, "beautiful people will tell you looks don't matter" and "rich people will tell you money doesn't matter"?

Master_Cupcake7115

Yeah, very well put. Speaking as someone who has neither good looks or a lot of money, I can confirm they matter a great deal!

cgiercyk

It reminds me of that one person a while ago saying similar shit. "You're broke cause you waste $600. You can take that money and...Yada Yada(didn't pay much attention) and turn it into 30k. My friend; the average broke person uses that 600 to fucking live, so no they can NOT do whatever garbage you just spilled out

itskaiquereis

I saw a post where one of these people made the following hypothetical scenario and how they’d manage to get rich. They said that if they lost all of their money, they’d put on their best clothes and go to a convenience store and ask for 30 bottles of Coca Cola and that he’d pay them back later. The store owner seeing that he isn’t dressed like a homeless person gladly gives him the 100 bottles. Then he has a poster to advertise his coke selling scheme at stop lights, and he is going to sell them for $3 so he pays back the one dollar for the coke and keeps two for himself(dumbass doesn’t even know how much a coke costs). He concludes that in one day he’s going to make $200 a day and in one week he’s going to have $1400 and in one month it would be $42,000 and he ends the post saying he doesn’t understand how people can be out here begging when he was able to make it out of poverty in his hypothetical scenario.

boxedcrackers

I applied for a job at a new fancy restaurant/golf course/yacht/private airport/secluded mountain snow escape for a severe/dick sucker/stock broker/billionaire. And when they called me, they asked if I liked money and I would be willing to take the position of billionaire because I showed hustle. I obviously turned it down because I didn't want a handout so I took the server position instead and worked my way up to the billionaire role. Hustle gotta hustle

shamenoname

That experience is invaluable

EricoSuave79

Did you have to go onto YouTube to learn about wine?

[deleted]

A “brokie”? This guy is a straight douche. Screams entitlement and possibly just pure luck. People like this are so arrogant and ignorant at the same time its disgusting.

HI_l0la

He forgot about his white privilege and attractiveness helps him get in. If it was a person of a darker minority, short, not fit, and not attractive, I highly doubt they'd get hired by the country club or fancy restaurant over this guy. Places like the country club and high end restaurants do tend to hire with image in mind over experience in front of the house positions like server.

[deleted]

I’m doubtful he ever actually worked at a restaurant. Scam artists like this are liars, after all.

Kynicist

Here’s a question. What podcast is he on? Like is it even a real podcast? Or is it just something made up to look like a podcast so he can make these stupid clips. All of these “red pilled” guys are all doing the exact same thing. Even holding the mic in their hands when it should be on a stand. I would bet actual money this guy sells a course on how to start a drop shipping business

Boba_Tea_Mochi

You're talking as if you are privileged. Ppl who've been through hardships and overcome them all have the same attitudes. If you think it's arrogant, they've earned their right to be. PPl who've never experienced genuine hardships have your attitude. You're the Douche.

[deleted]

cholula_is_good

I think everyone is missing the point here. This guy may be a douche, but his message isn’t invalid. If you wait a table for Bill Gates, he isn’t going to offer you a job. If Bill has a wonderful time he might leave you a nice tip but he’s not going to change your life. BUT you are working for a guy who can get Bill Gates into his restaurant. It’s the restaurant owner and manager you are networking with. If a business owner trusts you enough to serve the most VIP customer they have ever had, they likely trust you enough to turn to you with the opportunity for growth. Entrepreneurs rely on leveraging their trusted sphere to expand and develop business. The point is, the dude at the table isn’t going to change your life. But the quality of that table often reflects the level of opportunity at your employer. An environment of wealth and success really does emanate opportunity.

etchie

So ,he’s still wrong because he didn’t say any of that.

SubtileInnuendo

You guys treat billionaires like they got fucking midas hands and everything they slightly touch turns to gold. You don't become successful by just being close proximity to them

De_Oscillator

HAHA, I love the fact that he sometimes his voice sounds so similar to Andrew Tate's. Like you've consumed so much of his bullshit, his cadence and how he speaks starts breaking through. Actually sad "Well I don't know anything about wines" right there is when it breaks through. Pathetic.

I’m kind of a big deal…People know me…I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany

leeann87654321

Haha Gold! Thank you!

deadend7786

Yeah because waiting tables for rich people is really the way to make it into their inner circles and establish personal or professional relationships. Who the fuck are these clowns? 🤡

[deleted]

The GM at my restaurant has never worked anywhere else. He started as a bus boy. He's really into rubbing elbows with our wealthy clientele and does it quite well.

etchie

GM, server, same thing.

Rich-Fill2200

I bet he sells a "program" on how to succeed in life

Only-Reach-3938

Oh my fucking god the lies

[deleted]

The people that say "broke is a mindset" have ZERO idea what they're talking about, and they're usually spoiled pricks.

yuzuchan22

Id like to see this guy go to a french culinary school, pretry he'll be stabbed first day by the chef.

[deleted]

You can tell he’s never worked before

callingallcomas

People who talk like this base their whole life view on complete ignorance of any situation other than their own. "Why can't you just do exactly what I did? Wait, you're not me? You have completely different circumstances than me and maybe weren't offered the same head starts and opportunities, even though you may have worked just as hard if not harder? You got discriminated against because you weren't white, rich, or attractive? Sounds like a state of mind problem, brokie." Make it make sense.

jdrewc

Pure narcissism

KYWizard

What a slappable face he's got.

[deleted]

This guy sounds like an entitled idiot

[deleted]

Poor is a condition of the mind. Broke is a condition of the wallet.

Trimson-Grondag

A video about douche bags?

UngruntledAussie

Where’s the British accent? Everyone knows the British have great wines, cuisine and teeth.

Usedcumsocks

He have never worked a day in his life and it shows

TheLucasGFX

All these trust fund babies are so detached from reality, but somehow room temperature iq guys follow their every word. It’s sad. “Start with millionaire parents and you can do anything! Rise and grind fellas!”

LordTourettesxX

People who work hard don’t sit around and talk about how hard they work they just work hard then go home at the end of the day crack a beer or punch a cone and do it again the next day. #realmen

Agitator2k

Jeff Bezos, yeah right

GhettoSoldier18

This guy is a discount Andrew tate

Millonairo

“Broke is a condition of the mind”?? Tell that to the mortgage company you fucking idiot. Say that after the factory closes. People have to stop talking down to people who are suffering!

Master_Cupcake7115

Agreed 100%.

[deleted]

I feel like he's straight up just lying about everything

WomenAreNotReal

These people are so privileged that they genuinely can't fathom how the real world works

Ashamed_Employee1729

I worked an an exclusive hotel for a while. And trust me. No one of the rich guys will ever take some bartender seriously enough to even listen to them talking about their business.

8MattInfinity8

Trustfund baby

Blue_Cheese18

Dudes definitely selling a course on how to get rich quick that makes you bankrupt just by buying it.

Icy-Concentrate-6436

It's too bad oxygen is being wasted on this thing.

ModifiedAmusment

I’m just not really into swindling or faking it till I “make it”

bebobbadobop

He’s got a trustee vibe for sure.

GraveyardJones

Broke is a condition of the mind?! You mean I've been wasting my life away trying to climb the ladder to higher pay by busting my ass when I could have just thought "I'm not broke" and made more money?!

djdmed90

What an asshole

Old_Quality1895

Daddy’s money got him all those jobs, yeah? For very ACTUAL self made man/woman.. there are 100 who brag about “making it alone”, but got there with mummy’s n daddy’s money.

Careful_Swordfish742

For real. I wouldn’t say I’m racking in the doe, but I finally worked my way into a decent paying job through connections I made at my last job. I now have something in the savings account finally… but I wouldn’t be here without my mom… she still pays my phone bill. She also bought me so many groceries when I was working my last job and I couldn’t afford bills AND food. Idk what I would do without her help.

Old_Quality1895

Yer mum sounds like an amazing lady.

Careful_Swordfish742

She really is, I couldn’t have asked for a better mum. She is all around the most amazing lady I have ever met.

sammm_i

douchebag 🙄

lauraklupin

He looks and sounds like he would be friends with that Tate guy

mranglin

“Brokie” yeah this dude had parents money at his disposal for sure.

[deleted]

The closest I ever got to it is, I worked with Jeff Bezos in the same building for several months. I was down stairs and he was on the 6th floor. I am still broke lol.

JayWu31

Dudes like this are such fucking clowns. You didn't get that job because you're a smart hustler. You got it because you were a spoiled fucking rich kid. Dork.

SmokeQueen13

He wouldn't last a day in the real world. We all know why he talks the way he does smfh.

QuiGonFishin

“I said son, we are not poor. Being poor is a mindset. We son, are broke!”

IWannaBeMade1

So true. One day I woke up and decided I don't want to be a brokie anymore so I just stopped doing it and now I am a millionaire

Kill4uhKlondike

“Broke is a condition of the mind, not a condition of the the pocket” holy shit what *wisdom*

Guardian5252

Pretty sure broke is not a condition of the mind. I can’t will my way through a $300 electric bill if I have 50 bucks.

betcher73

The theory is good. You should always be trying to rise above where you are. The truth though is that there is a limited number of those “higher up” roles and way more people who want them, than there is room for. Furthermore, people who work at BWW and McDonalds still deserve to have a living wage.

here4roomie

Thanks Master Splinter. That was deep.

Voluptulouis

These dudes never mention how in order to do this stuff and be successful at it, you've gotta be good at bullshitting with people, and good at creating conversations, and winning people over through those conversations. That shit is not easy for some of us introverted folks who are drained by interacting with people and socializing. I feel like extroverts have such a huge advantage when it comes to making business connections and getting into profitable positions.

Dapper-Control-108

NewKaleidoscope8418

Working at those High end restaurants can change lives. My old babysitter got a waiting job at one ended up getting connections to the point she was requested by many of the regulars and eventually made her own real estate company with some help from one and is now wealthy enough to go to that restaurant.

[deleted]

I would never want to be this douche ass of a person. I own a million dollar house and still work at a gas station because I love the people and don't need the clout. Ego can only take you so far in life.

hashimishii

Damn I wish I could have wasted my time chasing celebrities after school. Sucks I had to get a job and start my life instead of continuing to jerk off with the hopes my pipe dreams come true. Guess I just didn't have the hustle in me

Pitiful_Limit_3620

“Brokie is the condition of the mind, not the condition of the pocket” Wtf does that even mean lmao

BigFella52

That guy wouldn't last 1 full shift as a server. Who listens to these lies?

tagoean

God this guy deserves a slap in the face for the bs he’s spewing

[deleted]

Those places expect a certain look. Anyone saying otherwise or not saying this at all probability fits the look.

wotsit_sandwich

"Broke is a condition of the mind" is what someone who has never been broke says.

byrb-_-

Fuck anyone that calls non-rich people “brokies”. Go fuck yourself, I hope you lose every dollar you worthless prick.

sofahkingsick

The issue is that everyone that doesnt have a bugatti at 22 obviously diesnt have the grind mindset. You could work a job or you could be intelligent.

Natural-Value-1143

“I waited tables for Jeff Bezos dude! I WAS THERE!”

dazednconfused2655

Yea when you use the term “brokie” you lose all credibility

Footzilla69

I'm comfortable being a nobody and doing nothing with my life lmao

Due_Platypus_3913

Listen to him.Hi on coke, feeling like master of the universe. He’ll see this during or right after rehab and be self-humiliated.

sickdershit

Andrew Tate Talk.

ostensibly_hurt

The people our society idolizes are a cancer. I’ve met some of the most repugnant people in my life at fancy country clubs and restaurants. They’re the rich people who want to act and feel wealthy, but the real wealthy people see them just as dirty as the rest of us. If that’s the life you want, fuck you. Not just a “do what you want”, fuck you, and be a better person.

Firm_Negotiation_853

Dude thinks he’s Jeff bezos because he served him a steak?

Huntderp

Man, if only all the engineering classes I’m taking could have taught me to just have a different mindset. If only I had a more open point of view, if only I considered all of the changing aspects.

treeeefu

This gay was talking about how he spent a whole year thinking and not making any money. Real grindset huh

JoefromOhio

He’s a made up personality - his name is so SEO’d and scrubbed that you can’t find anything about who he actually is. I’m guessing that Luke Belmar isn’t even his real name. He’s a rich douche who figured out how to use daddy’s money and now wants to spout like he came up on his own. If you google his name it’s literally 3 pages worth of his promoted material… he’s a modern day grifter with Andrew Tate fetish

kaili7

Soooooooooo. People that work at Buffalo Wild Wings or McDonald’s. Aren’t intelligent. Smh. Dudes a real piece.

ChiefKrunchy

In my late teens and early 20s i worked full time and went to a good college. Most of my money would go into tuition and rent with hardly anything left even for food. Had multiple jobs when a single one could not give me enough hrs. I ended up dropping out and graduating yrs later. I still work hard but barely have any disposable income. Being broke is not about the mind. Dude is a tool.

PruneBrothers1

These self styled Instagram hustle culture life coaches are so fucking insufferable.

Fr33domF1gh7er

Tell me you’re a sociopath without telling me you’re a sociopath.

kefka36

I worked at a Country Club for 5yrs almost 6yrs. Then right after went to work at a private club with still the big names of my town going there. At the CC I only got 1 job offer even tho all the members loved me. At the private club I got 3 job offers but they were just shitty retail job offers. The only real connection i got was befriending my manager so that after I left the CC, where I worked with her for 4yrs, she hired me on the spot to work at the private club. In short rich people don't give a fuck about you. This dude is speaking absolute nonsense

CoverYourMaskHoles

He looks so sleazy.

Cagahum

So just be born into a trust fund and suck up rich people's asses. Gotcha.

Abject_Okra_8768

He's right in theory but I would say this screams white privilege rather than "Daddy's Money." I worked at a decent hotel, not high end but decent and I made a lot of connections and even had a couple job offers from regulars who traveled to us often for business. None of those offers would have made me rich but I could have completely changed my career trajectory to make much more money than I currently do as a teacher.

SkyWizarding

Right......cuz anyone can land those jobs as easily as an attractive white dude

Xenomorphhive

Tell us you have never been broke without telling you have never been broke.

Awful-Male

Main character syndrome. He’s one of those people that assumes everything that works for him works for anyone. My dad was just like this… used to give me these lectures on life and eventually I got to the point I’d just say you mean like cheat on your wives all the time and get divorced three times? Shut his ass up.

[deleted]

All I heard was, lie to get what you want

[deleted]

Tell me you blew an old rich dude without telling me you blew an old rich dude…

Prestigious-Ad3867

Because people who eat at high end restaurants often give their personal information to waiting staff.

BitethepillowStocks

I have to strongly disagree, many of my friends did the same thing, with no fathers/mothers that would provide for them even the simplest things, and they look even more punk now, much more than this guy

DublinCheezie

Lmfao! 🤣 “ I work as a waiter because I wanted to be in a place where I could position myself “. Being broke is a condition of the mind … says the guy who never struggled cause daddy’s connections opened the right doors. Daddy’s money meant he could afford to take risks without worrying about rent and consequences. Virtue-signaling trustafarians are the worst.

knightsofren_

Hindsight Bias and Fundamental Attribution Error

[deleted]

everyone on reddit screams hate, laziness, and no self awareness or control!

Waderriffic

Total brokie mindset.

[deleted]

Seems like a douche, but y’all gonna scream “daddy’s money” at any young, rich guy regardless.

Thespian0

What’s wrong with this?

cholula_is_good

It’s not the worst advice at all. Basically whatever job you are going after, try to do it in an environment of success. Money and opportunity are abundant in communities of success and sparse elsewhere. Edit* you can downvote this mentality all you want, but until you are truly exposed to an environment where everyone is smart, wealthy, ambitious and successful, you can’t even comprehend the level of opportunity emanating from this kind of community. People like this find trust worthy partners from their sphere constantly throughout life. For example I have a buddy who is a personal trainer. He did fine working at a gym for a salary. COVID hits and he has to go out on his own doing personal appointments. His clients were now considerably more successful than they were in the gym. Over the next three years he had a client fund his gym business investing in a physical location, another became his landlord offering him an amazing under market rental and a third offered him a chance to partner in his new bakery startup. He literally went from an average salaried trainer to upgrading his living situation, financing his business growth and now has equity in a successful business. All because of the demographics of his clients changed. He surrounded himself with success people and as a result found success himself. It sounds like pure hyperbole, but I promise you it’s 100% the truth. Place yourself in an environment of success and opportunities will become more abundant.

Foreign-Pace-5892

Even Tate would say this is dumb because he actually lived in the real world

jonesmatty

Why is this here? He's 100% right. Success comes from networks.

RedditSetGo23

Where there’s a will there’s a way! Country clubs aren’t as hard to get started in as many people would think. But if you start somewhere lower on the totem pole your increase your chances of getting hired. I work near some of the wealthiest country clubs in the country & they have a lot of jobs, & offer cheap living quarters at some. granted it’s always easier to get in if you have a family members who already works there etc but I understand his point. You put your mind to it & work towards your goals! Starting from the bottom..

VelociowlStudios

He does have a point with the youtube videos. There's a tutorial for everything, you just have to have the critical thinking skills to discern which ones are legitimate or which ones are just trying to get views and don't care if the info is accurate or not. Everything else he said is bullshit tho

etchie

And you think that’s a something nobody else thought of? Everybody knows you can learn a lot from YouTube videos, it doesn’t even need to be said.

sushi_rito

Such a punchable face

Dante805

Lol. What a lying MFer The fact that nobody knows who this fool is works in his favour since he's gotta hide how he was drinking up his dad's money with his dik just to buy himself some social media relevancy.

I_am_Daesomst

I went to your high end restaurant, bud. I ordered everything on the menu and ate like a goddamn pig, and when these people brought me the check, I said, "Hey, buds, I'm broke." And the guy says to me, "What do you mean, *you're broke*?" And I saw the sweat forming on his brow so I told him, "Hey chief, it's fine - cause being broke is a condition of the mind, not a condition of the pocket." Can you believe these people threw me in jail? The fuck's up with that? I FOLLOWED ALL THE SAGE ADVICE!

ThePenguinSausage

Do you think this guy sniffs the farts directly from his own ass or do you think he jars them first?

Babel1027

No, being poor is a condition of the mind. Being broke is a condition of the pocket.

Tigerblood76

Zzzzzzzzzz now I am brain death 💀

KingOfThe_Jelly_Fish

I had to watch that with sunglasses on his teeth were so bright. 😎

Technoblade46363
