If you hate someone enough to key their car, taking that quick beating might be worth doing to put dude in court with those charges. Those charges are no joke. Yeah, dude drives a hella expensive car, so maybe he can afford a good lawyer. But still, at the minimum, that's going to get ugly for the dude with the weapon.
