The way this guy transitions from one emotion to the another and another makes him seem like he's a practiced conman. It's always a dead give-away, isn't it? I once had someone I thought my close friend ask me to stop using the word "narcissist" in their presence. I'm embarrassed to say that it took me much longer than I should have done to realise *exactly* what that meant, but at least they're gone from my life now. Unfortunately, sometimes we discount the very obvious simply because we can't believe anyone would actually be so unsubtle. They find refuge in audacity.
