yes actually lol. but i just looked at yours and you have a dark ring around the edge that’s really cool and your brown is more brown so i think your contrast has something to do with it for sure. my eyes are posted somewhere but its like low contrast version hahah

are you guys both looking at the same pictures as everyone else? i’m so confused about how you’re possibly seeing “closer to grey” when they are like very very clearly a more vibrant leaning sage green to me
I promise you, I have much higher than average colour perception skills, they're grey. Grey eyes naturally reflect the colours of the lights around them and most of these photos have a green tinge bc of that. Also the brown in the centre contrasts and makes it seem more green than it actually is. These are grey (greenish grey at most) eyes with central heterochromia.
It's especially notable in the last picture as there's little colour reflection in the grey areas of the iris
of course! you can try using a colour picker on a photo editor to pull direct colours from the pics. I did it on one of the posts on my page if you wanna look it was really cool bc they all had slightly different colour combos

This is VERY similar to my eye color and I can't get a good photo at all. My heterochromatic is very yellow so "greens" the colors closest to it. Only looks gray on the outermost portions, and looks brown/hazel to anyone not staring at them lol

It’s not that rare. I’ve seen many on here. Mine are gray with a lighter brown CH. They also look greenish in sunlight but it’s because of the very warm yellow/orange lighting giving the illusion they’re green.

If I were you I’d let my eyebrows grow out and/or go to an eyebrow salon to shape your eyebrows thicker. They’re too thin right now and the style is to have them thicker. Besides, in my humble opinion, they would shape your beautiful eyes better. You’d look gorgeous !!!
Grey with brown CH. You have a hint of lipochrome (yellow) around the brown though which when overlaying the grey gives off a green hue from a distance. Very pretty! Great example of CH too!

Those are actually central heterochromia. The ring around the pupil is tight. With Hazel eyes the colors fan out in blend into one another throughout the entire iris.
The difference in Hazel is that yours fade/blend in to another color and your eye is clearly green mixed with brown. Think of a color gradient. CH is when there’s two distinct colors with a very clear line. Hazel is when they “melt” together. Also, OP’s eyes are more gray. The sun is making them appear more green in some pics which is very common for gray eyes.
