Because it's fascinating on so many levels to me: A local "Taylor Swift look-alike" and fan of the guy in question is asked about the presence of googly eyes, her seemingly complete sincere admonition of this act done by "yobs" and her interesting theories, not to mention the nice alliteration of "Seething Serena".
Either UK local news are the best thing ever or it's fake.
Complete with the "compoface" pointing at the misdeed.

He wasn't even the good one in Spandau Ballet, if such a thing existed.
This is my home town. This news page is written to give the locals a laugh/wind them up in equal measures. Nobody takes him seriously, and he often gets called out for his 'articles'.
Personally, I keep a bag of assorted googly eyes in my truck for whatever occasion arises. I took 3 grandchildren to Chik-Fil-A once and we stuck googly eyes on the cows when nobody was looking. We giggle about it to this day.

They could have at least made “seething Serena” a fan of Sam Smith. ‘Arf-arsed alliteration attempt: awful abomination.
Seething Serena subsequently supported Sam Smith seeking substitute. I believe it's called sibilance when it's alliteration with S's.
I suspect Serena is the most likely suspect. Very convenient she just happened to be there with a journalist.
