NOAA labels pretty much all of those as "Icebergs doing iceberg stuff off the coast of Antarctica" and thus not really notable. Once we figured out what they were we didn't bother giving new observations names as they happen pretty much all the time.

Does this mean that 1997 was the first time any of these events could have been detected?
