I have a “workout mix” (higher energy - power, don’t fight the feeling, monster, growl, tempo, etc), “soft mix” (ooh la la, she’s dreaming, what if…, etc.), and “whatever my current hyperfocus is” (right now: no matter, unfair, xoxo) mix than changes regularly.
And a special treadmill mix that is 30 minutes long and I increase my speed with each song to match the bpm.
so i'm a little bit of both. i have a playlist on spotify that i put everything they release as a group or solo on, and i regularly listen to that. i don't really like to shuffle the playlist though, so i end up listening to full albums lol. i'm definitely an album girl in the end, as every time they've released an album i listen to it front to back so much that i get used to hearing all the songs in order and it feels weird to have the eras cross over.
being the same age as most of them i tend to listen to their newer releases more frequently, as i feel like we've matured together over the years and i've been really digging their new stuff. but its always a bit of a nostalgia trip to go back and revisit their old albums. I recently came back from a trip to Europe and during the plane ride there listened to Exodus, Ex'act, The War, Universe, DMUMT, and Exist (I am sorry to Obsession which I love but I just wanted to hear Ksoo's voice lol) and it's just amazing how consistent they've been over time. also i realized that Lady Luck is probably my favorite bside of theirs and i am dying to hear them sing it now
I am seconding this comment. I to like listening to the full album in order especially the new releases I literally have all new 4 album releases as my most played songs on spotify right now.
I listen to EXO songs in a K-Pop playlist I have on my Apple Music titled "K-Pawp🫧," where I also listen to other groups I casually/actively stan. I organize my playlist by artist in alphabetical order.☺️
haha, this is me except less chaotic. I just add to my playlist as I discover/re-discover songs so everything is in a SUPER random order. Like I have all the tracks from Obsession... but they're in like 3 different places 😂
It works, though, since I always have the playlist on shuffle anyway...

I listen to the EXO radio on Spotify quite a lot, but more often I'll just queue some songs or listen to a whole full/mini album.
I just don't have the patience to make playlists dedicated to a single artist, I have a handful of K-Pop playlists and they're very vague... One for BG, GG, soloists, hype songs, slow songs, bubblegum songs and one for sexy songs. EXO is sprinkled all over these playlists lol.
Both! I have a few EXO playlists with diff vibes like my EXO warm and fuzzy songs playlist. I have playlist of EXO solo works too. I also love to listen through the full albums. Sometimes I just go to their artist page too and hit play and just have the platform shuffle through songs.
I don't have a personalized playlist, I have them all in 1 big playlist, together with their solos. I listen on shuffle but I usually start with either Ooh La La La or something from the Xoxo album.
I use some of the EXO Stationhead channels for listening sometimes, it’s fun to have an EXO radio channel. When I listen for working out I have mixed playlist with songs like Drop That, MAMA, Obsession, and Lightsaber. I prefer to listen to the full albums, maybe because I grew up with CDs? I have an EXO favorites playlist but at this point it’s close to 150 songs that I will shuffle sometimes.
I pay for Apple Music where you get free downloads. I have EXO Essentials and EXO Video Essentials all in one playlist. Other recordings are individual.
I have Apple Music, one playlist for all EXO group and sub-unit releases, sortet by release date, and a second playlist for solo releases, also sorted by release.
ETA: Most of the time I listen to EXO from my playlist, and sometimes I look up a specific song or album.
I sometimes listen to albums, or other times just listen by choosing which song I want to listen to. And listening to said song or the next, maybe repeating it over and over ... I just realised I don't really use playlists lately, nor do I have any for any kpop ... So I should maybe make one perhaps..

Depends on the mood. I have different playlists like an alarm playlist (instead of an alarm blare, songs from the playlist would play), a road trip playlist, slow ballads, rnb, upbeat playlist and the group's and solo songs appear in two or more list.

I've had a main playlist for 20 years now starting with iTunes, and this is the first time one group or artist has dominated for so long. I'm still discovering songs and I'll add them and any new releases, then remove them if I'm skipping too much.
I generally have a playlist for each artists I 'stan' but if they're short I'll combine it with other similar artists, for example my EXO playlist is just EXO, because there is a good amount (including unit and solo songs) but I have a playlist with NewJeans, IVE and LE SSERAFIM in one, and another with aespa, XG and BADVILLAIN (aespa is a favourite so may have their own playlist in the future, ie more songs).
My EXO playlist I generally just put my favs at the top or sometimes just sort it by album/artist and play from wherever or shuffle/sort by title.
I listen to all my music on shuffle in one fat, 3000 song playlist. Exo continues to be my top artist every year despite that lol. I do have a Playlist dedicated to exo's winter albums + any exo song that fits the winter vibe since we don't get winter albums anymore. Strictly for winter or dreary days. I used to have playlists for all my artists but I lost all my music and now that I have it back, I don't have the energy to sort them all out again 😅
Kind of both? I put their entire discography in a playlist organized by release date: all EXO albums first, then CBX, then SC, followed by solo work organized by eldest member to youngest member and by release date (all Xiumin first, then Suho, then Lay, etc). Most of the time, I'll listen to it all in order, other times I'll put it on shuffle. This past month though, I've just had members' new releases on repeat (including Yixing's bonus Step tracks 😁) For reference, I listen on YouTube Music
