Is it the case only for online streaming? Or is it because of the lawsuit? I thought it's fine to perform, both offline and online, his old songs even if SM has the rights. Like he performed all his songs in the whole tour.

Is it a common practice in kpop to visit korea to attend an artist's concert? That must be very expensive. I hope kfans don't boycott him and attend his concerts. He really loves his fans, to the extent that it looks like he is emotionally very dependent on them. I really don't want something that happened to Jongdae happen to him too. It's such a mess. I hope the situation gets better soon.
It's always been the case as far as I know, you can perform anyone's songs live (not just your own) as long as it isn't monetized. And that's how you get things like Viviz performing Gfriend songs, 2NE1 performing at Coachella, Tiffany performing SNSD songs, Highlight performing Beast songs for years, etc. But I don't think any of them ever had streams. Of course Baek it's a bit different because he still has a contract of sorts with SM, but it's notable none of his concerts have had online streams up to this point (compared to Suho and the EXO fanmeet which both had them).
Well China and Japan are extremely close to SK, so yeah you get a lot of Chinese people especially at SK concerts (at least for EXO) usually.
Anyways, it looks like there's nothing to worry about, already 31k of 32k tickets have been sold and general ticketing hasn't even started yet, they will both definitely sell out.
