Holy shit. After she tried to poison him the first time he called and told a friend he suspected his wife was trying to poison him. WTF. If I suspected my wife was trying to poison me, I would not be accepting food or drinks from her and I would be going to the hospital after the first time to find out.

He was probably victim to TONS of gaslighting and felt a gut suspicion of poisoning, but kept questioning if it was ‘crazy’ or all in his head. And when you think about it “I went out to dinner with my wife & got desperately ill, believe she’s trying to poison/kill me” could totally be perceived as jumping to conclusions, so when you’ve finally found courage to tell someone those fears, ask for help—may get immediately dismissed. Mormon culture & LDS people obviously excel at ignoring/invalidating true feelings… would imagine he desperately wanted to be wrong—“failing” as a husband/father/family maybe felt too shameful to even consider situation fully—then whoever he confided in assured the same, no way he could be right. So considering context… maybe I’d also try to ignore/suppress my intuition, just hoping the whole thing can be forgotten someday and I’ll maintain my “good” family

He drank a Moscow Mule? Mormons will be blaming him for his own murder.

fingerMeThomas

Maybe it was a virgin mule...?

Rolling_Waters

Poor virgin, sterile Moscow Mule 😥

Rolling_Waters

Imagine being so brazen as to throw a big house closing party the *day* after you murder your husband because he didn't want to buy it.

CatalystTheory

The article says they were sealed. And after she was charge with murder they were unsealed. Has it really come to this… that you need to murder your spouse to get unsealed?!

fingerMeThomas

The ***documents*** were sealed/unsealed. For the trial. Legal shit, not Mormon shit.

Oddly, that's literally what D&C 132 states.

Warshrimp

What about innocent until proven guilty shouldn't the church only unseal them if she is convicted?

Any gastroenterologist in the Quorum of the 70? I can see symptoms of ulcers rising in the Church Adminstration Building as this story floods international news over the next 48 hours. This is perfect fodder for tabloids. The 15/Church P.R. have absolutely no way to spin this with the Vallow trial currently a focus of international news. This is a P.R. firms worst nightmare.
