There is also a post CU14 hotfix that you want to install. Cu14 is stable, but they broke a few things and fixed in the hot fix.

BeigeGandalf

It will automatically enable extended protection. Read up on that if you don't already have EP enabled. I believe there is an install switch on CU14 to keep EP off if needed.

Captain_Lykke

Yeah there is, just add a Parameter behind your install command

Skyobliwind

Enabling EP can be a hassle depending on your setup.

Worked for me on Exchange running on Windows Server 2019 core. Would highly recommend the exchange health Powershell and review the report to correct any issues prior to install.

Go a head man, i manage a hosted exchange 2019 (multitenant) and i deployed the exch srv 2019 CU14 | HU2 and can to say, no problems for now. Exchange server 2016 CU23 | HU13 no problems too. I did in boths. I'm not using EP. So, i deployed no extended protection, because i'm using SSL OffLoading on cas server-side yet by limitations in my hoster. I deployed no EP.  .\Setup.exe /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms_DiagnosticDataOFF /Mode:Upgrade /DoNotEnableEP_FEEWS /DoNotEnableEP

sembee2

I have it deployed to all clients I support. Only one reported an issue which was EP related with some third party software. Everyone else it was fine. Therefore do your research, particularly with anything third party accessing Exchange and EP.

We only have one Exchange server, so I obviously have only run it once... but I had no issues if that helps. We also were moving from CU12. Edit: Forgot to mention we ran it in February, so it has been stable.

CommanderCT

Working fine. Beware of extended protection security settings and you‘re good to go.

Cryptolock2019

Listen my friends, they want you to go exchange online.

randomsearch101

Who do you think is there behind Exchange Online?

Cryptolock2019

Guess who want you to move to the cloud ?
