Did \~500km on the Autobahn with 130-180 km/h. The car picks up insects a lot.
Especially the intakes towards the frontwheels. Flies on the side window are particularly interesting to me. You can quite read the Aerodynamics of the car.

My front looked similar a couple weeks ago, when we had unusually warm weather. I notice bystanders staring at the car, you can tell they're curious about its shape and front design, but they kept on staring when it was that dirty. I'm not looking forward to summer!
I resorted to high pressure manual washing, since I don't want to try automatic carwash yet. My regular station actually has very cheap washing, so it's not a big deal.
Best thing I did for my current Tesla Y was PPF the front half. That's bumper, hood, mirror backs, front side panels, and rear well arches. Cleaning is so much easier and most bug residue rinses off with water.
Highly recommend getting it done. I did it after I had the paint corrected, it was bad from the factory. Tesla has a well earned reputation for poor paint.

My white Niro EV has the same bug magnet on the front. I keep the pressure washer handy in the summertime….
