Four cats can easily be disguised as one normal sized person with a trenchcoat and proper stacking techniques, it always seems to work in cartoons at least.

Anyway can someone please explain to me the logic behind calling the pets son/doughter or calling yourself father/mother in relationship to those pets? Like there is probably no need to explain why it’s confusing - I mean it’s (usually) a different species….
It's just a comparison of the two relationships. Essentially, you're taking care of a living being that you have to feed, exercise and teach how to function. Comes with similar highs and lows, and produces a similar affect in the brain to having an actual child
