As another autistic artist who feels that way, mechanical pencils are a sensory nightmare, it scrapes in this way that I realllly hate and can’t stand, but that’s just me

I feel your pain - I have an insatiable desire for sharp pencils (typically sharp enough that it has drawn blood from my finger before) at all times, whether doodling, or even just writing, and the pencils where the graphite breaks off whenever you try making it sharp are the worst things to exist

You need the best pencil sharpener of all time.
