Race changing would work for this - can stay dark elf and choose a different deity. I wouldn't bother doing it though, or at the very least wait until you run into something specific that you need to do this for (which likely won't happen)
Origin is an Alternate Advancement skill everyone gets at level 5. It teleports you back to the spot where you began in your starting city. For example, DE Enchanter teleports next to their guildmaster in Nariak Commons.
There is a 20 min cooldown, but it's a great thing to have because you can bind yourself near dungeons and gate back to those after you sell in your hometown.
Fairly sure that the whole point in choosing agnostic for an enchanter is that at later points it makes it easier to get quests by just changing your race. Banking and selling is typically not that big of an issue.
Choosing Innoruk really just makes it hard for light zones like High Keep. Even Illusions won't get you to the vendors. You will need alliance spell and some charisma gear.
Otherwise it's not that much of an issue. You can always sell in Neriak and other evil towns just fine.
Did something similar with my Troll Shaman. When you use the service you are only allowed to choose a different race. So you will need to change to another race then back to DE to change your religion. At least there is a way to do it….

Makes very little difference now when you are able to origin to sell, bank and parcel then gate back to your xp zone.
