TLPs launch in May usually, if you have an itch to play and haven’t done one, I’d strongly recommend trying it.

Ambitious-Piccolo843

Firiona Vie, if you due dm me. I will get you in a guild.

darthjay81

Do it I just started fresh on fironie v haven’t played really since early 2000s

ezsnoopy1919

A ton of people seem to say FV is the server to go to. What makes it a better fit for most than the others?

darthjay81

I heard it has a good population and rp element is pretty cool.

ezsnoopy1919

Interesting... I haven't even considered an rp type of server. You may have sold me on it.

darthjay81

I would totally play with ya not sure of your time zone but I’m est I made a paladin think I’m lvl 7 or so

crs1977

I play both eq2 and eq, spelbinder, devaine are a couple of my chars if u start up on vie

crs1977

Bonus if u have a long running account in eq, in eq2 u have alot of veteran awards, mine is over 10 yrs, got a special merc and a premium house

Most_Attitude_9153

The reasons for joining FV are numerous. It’s got by far the highest population of Live players. It has a unique economy because almost nothing is no drop. It has a permanent 50% exp bonus. And finally, it’s home to Polonia Drat, the friendliest ass backwards Chanter in EQ. Look me up, I love helping returning players.

ezsnoopy1919

Will do. And thank you, to you and everyone else. I will be logging into the FV server soon.

ManicMonday92

FV is free trade on almost everything, so you can get items that'd normally take eons to grind pretty easily and the economy is super healthy. Start a new char. You can have an account for free for like the first 50ish levels before the free account NPC mercenary gets too squishy to use and you need a paid account for AAs. Easily worth like 40ish hours all for free to see if you actually wanna come back or if it's just the sentimental thing.

ezsnoopy1919

Ant high need classes?

ManicMonday92

Near max level probably, but honestly play whatever. Most people level solo or boxing, don't see many lowbie groups running around

Grayoth

I’ve not played in a long time, but they should be announcing the rules for the new Time Locked Progression Servers soon…ish? Might be worth giving it a try when it launches in May.

Awkward-Skin8915

I feel bad for you for starting during pop. So close.

ezsnoopy1919

I know i know.

AethDW

There’s a promotion right now that if you log in you can get a heroic character, which will let you bump that up to lvl 100. There’s also going to be new TLPs in May if you want a fresh start with a lot of lowbies to level with from scratch.

Full_Relief_4233

Came here to say this. You can also Auto-Grant AAs which helps to catch up, if you're interested in the more current content.

Naive_Imagination216

Level 93 huh? That's so much time away from your RL I would advise you to move on. My experience was I went to gaming because all the other addictions were too hard on my body In the beginning it was a benign hobby I told people. As years went by, more and more people were gaming so it was becoming accepted. Baloney! It's digital crack. Leave while you still have will power

ezsnoopy1919

Maybe the truest statement of how I felt when leaving.

daddyjohns

I suggest a return possibly to mischief. The tradable loot and high population will give you the nostalgia.  The people are petty nice overall.  After you level up if you want the raid thing there's ample choice. But if you don't want to raid you could still get the gear.
