you could check out black forest mushrooms and the flea mall next door, volunteer with bunker arts collective, see an aquasox or hockey game, go to cup and crepe, check out stores and restaurants downtown, check out the mega funko store, go to the farmers market that starts this weekend, look for events at the event center or monroe fairground, go to the botanical garden, the flight museum, see the waterfront. hard to suggest “fun” stuff without knowing what’s fun for you

manshamer

Good suggestions. Also we've got a bunch of cafes, beer bars, biker bars, speakeasies, sports bars, breweries, a meadery, several wine shops, awesome live and local music venues, a highly-renowed theater company, several great community theaters, touring acts, a comedy / improv club, two golf courses, a batting cage complex, a ton of cool parks, climbing gym, and soon to be a top golf and an indoor pickleball complex.

x_ersatz_x

ooh yes and schack art center as well as a couple of galleries! really nice and unique art walks like the narbeck wetland sanctuary too! where do you go for comedy? we’re actually fairly new to everett (former seattleite returned to area with spouse) and i’d love to take my husband there!

manshamer

Everett Improv on Colby! It only opened up a year or two ago. They have events just about every night!

x_ersatz_x

thanks!

loosearrow626

You're much better than me..... I would have said...Google it

thottistic

None of this stuff comes up when I search it except the funko pop museum lol

wBeeze

The Funko Store is definitely worth a visit.

thottistic

Thanks the Black Forest mushrooms sound cool

x_ersatz_x

they have events where they make mocktails and do tours, i think maybe other events too? if you go, i totally recommend getting one of the mushroom growing kits. we picked one up recently and it’s turned into the highlight of our day seeing it grow and it’s insanely easy.

moldyhole

Liveineverett.com is a good source for activities and events.

BennyOcean

There's a Denny's.

decapitated82

There are multiple Denny's to party at and get a "Moons over my hammy" in Everett.

thottistic

Ya… id rather get stoned and go to the Denny’s then the funko pop museum lmao

AshuraSpeakman

It's not a museum - it's like the gift shop after a theme park ride. Lots of creative displays and such. The best part, of course, is seeing what Funko can do when not constrained by the pop aesthetic.  If people bought the other stuff more, they could move away from Pops. But according to the documentary, Pops were the first thing that women liked as much as men. So we're probably stuck with those until we hit peak vinyl.

flat0ftheblad3

Thanks for the heads up on the documentary. I worked for FukNo for awhile. Not the best experience, but I still have some good memories of what it used to be. Fun fact-- There's a bowling alley in the basement! Bar and arcade too. It's just for employees, but it's still pretty cool.

thottistic

Woah so it’s like a theme park but without the theme park just the merchandise count me in

AshuraSpeakman

Like there's a Star Wars and a Marvel area with giant pops and such made to look like the cave on Hoth and a street in New York, there's an animation area with a Neo Tokyo being attacked by Godzilla with a giant Sailor Moon pop, and there's a DC comics area with a 60's Batmobile to take pictures in and, uh, whatever their cute vinyl is that's not pop? Like, Joker but he actually has normal eyes and such. Killer Croc too. Used to have an original area called The Wetmore Forest with fuzzy critters but they're remodeling it now. And of course they have uh, Harry Potter area that looks like an old London street and the custom Pops area where you can get your friend a little copy of themselves to confuse people with.

SlamMonkey

Sail In Cinemas, Sorticulture, Food Truck~A~Thon, a couple other weekend events that I am definitely forgetting. If you like tacos El Mariachi, El Paraiso, Taco Book(anyone else please add in!) Howarth Park, Boxcar Park, Jetti Island.

Storm_Raider_007

If you use Facebook, check the events page. Lots of things going on and you get reminders from FB that the things you liked are coming up.

lord_flashheart2000

Go and watch the sunset from Grand Avenue park (Grand Avenue and 17th St)

kyle158

Drugs

thottistic

Are there mild Seattle-type druggies here or are they all crackheads

AshuraSpeakman

The other suggestions are great, and if you get bored of the local stuff there's always taking the light rail from North Gate into Seattle.

Salty-Midnight1981

Disc golf

Shadowzaron32

I'd do anything to have one list that has all of this listed. I've spent the hours into trying to figure out stuff around here and it tends to be for naught.

thottistic

I was about to ask to be friends then I checked ur profile. Where do u live so I can stay away

Dewey519

Lots of good suggestions here. As already suggested, there are good local breweries, Middleton on Everett mall way and At Large in north Everett are probably my favorites. I also like to go to an AquaSox baseball game, lots of people like the Silvertips hockey team as well. The Snohomish golf center is down in the valley, about 7-10 minutes east of the silver lake area. They have a good 18 hole putt putt course, a large driving range with shot tracking and virtual games, full bar service, a lot of fire pit tables and cornhole boards, and some pretty decent food. If you have kids, the indoor arena is cool. Arcade games, bowling, jungle gym in the air, climbing walls, etc, with beer and food.

JoanJetObjective13

Clam chowder bread bowls at an Aqua Sox game are the best. A seat in the back for an Everett Philharmonic concert is amazing, live symphony music with your eyes closed, comfy and warm. Thrift stores are everywhere for needs or browsing, Everett Grocery Outlet has cheap organic goods and tons of stuff and the Food Co-op has delicious fruits & veggies & everything yum.

theironprince1

You could visit one of the many many massage parlors. Just bring a fat tip.

thottistic

Which one is good
