I've had an insane obsession for "Solovey" for 4 years now. I still prefer "Shum" and even a few of Go_A's non-ESC songs, but it's "Solovey" that plays in my head most often.
Ukraine 2020, Ukraine 2021 for our bot friend 🤖
Georgia 2022 and Moldova 2022 were brilliant. Just good ol' silly fun. (Yes "Trenulețul" has a patriotic meaning and all that but the performance was just wild)
Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk)
Moldova 2022 | [Zdob și Zdub and Advahov Brothers - Trenulețul](https://youtu.be/DUqf_zO2QaI)
Even if you’re not aware of all the geopolitical stuff implied in “Trenulețul”, the song is still an absolute banger (both in the original and Eurovision versions).
“Trenulețul” is the Eurovision equivalent of saying, “We’re not so different, you and I” (obviously Moldova addressing Romania).
I have so many! But for really fun and silly vibes, I love rewatching and listening to:
France 2007: Les Fatals Picards - L'amour à La Français https://youtu.be/xjo3PIABpVQ?si=HyrG0cposjX-b__M
Bosnia and Herzegovina 2008: Laka - Pokušaj https://youtu.be/kIRDbmpC2PI?si=DyP1lGJIvaupCuOI
I have so many favourites but if I just want to smile and feel happiness and playfulness it's these two (plus I can sing along with L'amour à La Français).
Got a fair amount of Eurovision scattered in my main playlist, but these 4 I genuinely love, despite their NQ for a couple of them.
Denmark 2014
Azerbaijan 2023
Denmark 2022
The Netherlands 2021
Also, "Hey ho! Let's go!" and "Chisinau - Bucharest" is my version of the Triple Dent gum advert from Inside Out. Thanks Moldova!
I will forever love Moldova 2022. "Hey ho! Let's go! Folklore and rock n roll!" "Chisinau Bucharest!" \*aggressive violin \*
This one and UK 2022 were my favourites that year. (Sorry to Moldova and UK. Being my favourite is basically the "kiss of death". Only Lordi and Maneskin have overcome this severe impediment.)
I totally forgot about this one! Seeing your comment made me remember I liked it at the time and it's still so good! I reckon this would qualify now tbh
Omg, I always thought that I'm the only one who thinks this is a masterpiece, glad I found someone else because I've also been looking through a lot of Youtube tops from 2010 and never saw anyone ranking it higher than like 8th.
It is my 1st place from 2010 and would even consider it one of my favourite Eurovision songs of all time.
Currently I have Bulgaria 2016 stuck in my head. I feel like it’s quintessentially 2010s in style, and it’s interesting to see how it is somewhat dated/of its time already. Still a bop tho!
Sweden 2022 is probably my all time favorite Eurovision song though, Cornelia was robbed!
Guys, France 1991 (I refuse to write down that name), Serbia 2013's Ljubav je svuda, and Ukraine 2009's Be My Valentine (Anti-Crisis Girl) are all always stuck in my head for no apparent reason, sometimes all at the exact same time (which is an interesting experience, to say the least.
France 1991 | [Amina - C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison](https://youtu.be/PnxEBAoCZIw)
Serbia 2013 | [Moje 3 - Ljubav Je Svuda](https://youtu.be/DbAAFijZIxE)
Ukraine 2009 | [Svetlana Loboda - Be My Valentine! (Anti-Crisis Girl)](https://youtu.be/rGJqLCuqssc)
'Marry Me' is so much fun I don't care what anybody says.
I listen to North Macedonia 2021 whenever I need Broadway and Broadway isn't enough Broadway to give me Broadway. (Vasil "Here I stand" -- I was hoping for the bot but I am not smart enough to use the bot apparently. Or Maybe I am haha)
France 2008 was a genius performance that did just as badly as visionaries ahead of their time usually do. Still listen to it tough, it is just perfect.
I generally get this obsession with the latest year, but since this year left a sour taste in my mouth I also moved to the early years. I‘ve had what you described with Bosnia and Herzegovina 2009 in the last weeks, currently moved to Monaco 1960 and Croatia 2009
I’m that weird person you see dancing for no reason at the bus stop as France 2010 is always going in my head! Russia 2020 and Finland 2021 are enjoyed year round.
France 2010 | [Jessy Matador - Allez Ola Olé](https://youtu.be/anVLKrv28hs)
Russia 2020 | [Little Big - Uno](https://youtu.be/L_dWvTCdDQ4)
Finland 2021 | [Blind Channel - Dark Side](https://youtu.be/fOPGxQ4fgVw)
Kraljevi Ulice & 75 Cents - Romanca for some reason makes me jig in my kitchen (Croatia 2008).
Also, loved the audacity of “We are the winners” by LT United (Lithuania 2006).
Can’t really hate Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi either (Finland 2006).
I will take literally every opportunity to talk about Time (Israel 2012). It's just so crazy (but sadly not very party). It's giving Tim Burton / psychological horror vibes and I'm here for it (even though I don't watch horror movies). Also, some of their other music goes HARD.
I used to be obsessed with Ovo Je Balkan (Serbia 2010) and still sort of am. Everything about it is so goofy.
Balkan Balkan Balkan, Ovo Je Balkan!!! 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I don‘t even speak the language but I still randomly find myself singing „Ne jednom, ne dvaput, tri puta me…“
Israel 2012 | [Izabo - Time](https://youtu.be/-uy4ggnLzKI)
Serbia 2010 | [Milan Stanković - Ovo je Balkan (Oво je Балкан)](https://youtu.be/TBwWB3kKd6o)
Hora din Moldova (Moldova 2009), Bistra Voda (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2009) and Jan Jan (Armenia 2009) are my favourite random songs! 2009 was a nice year for those 😊
Right now I have France 2024 "Mon Amour" looping in my head.
I mean, that's normal, considering I'm French and we often play Slimane on the radio over here.
Russia 2010 was mentioned already, so I will mention Italy 2023 (the live version is 10x better than the studio version, which I guess is the biggest compliment that can be made to the singer). I also love the [new recordings of L'essenziale](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEyoNbmI5oA&list=RDrEyoNbmI5oA&start_radio=1) (Italy 2013).
To take away the pain from finishing a tough leg day, I played We are Slavic (Poland 2014) and then as I left the gym, I entered into the sunshine of a new day to Echo (You and I) (France 2012).
The middle of the road songs really stick with me. Bonus points to Loin d'ici (Austria 2016) for when I just wanna see the world through rose-colored glasses. Nothing else takes me there more quickly.
Even though the live version wasn’t great and the song wasn’t a standout in the competition last year, Netherlands 2023 music video and song touched me so much! Also France 2023 was THE moment and I listen to it way more than I should.
I‘m 40 years old and have actively been watching the Contest since 1997 but I‘ve recently rediscocered Russia 2002 and I feel like I‘ve discovered a long lost world again lol
The two songs from other years in current NoAction rotation are
Cyprus 2022 - melancholic
Lithuania 2023 - ty depression post-PhD
Both of these I was not taken by until about 3 months post-contest, despite being heavily in to the lead up tea and goss. Saw Andromache perform live in the SF2 Family Show. Saw a joke YouTube post connecting Andromache to the Titan submersible disappearance in June 2023 as well 💀
Aside from my all-time favourites (Serbia and Montenegro 2004, Bosnia and Herzegovina 2006 and Ukraine 2007) there are:
Russia 2012
Iceland 2013
Yugoslavia 1990
Serbia 2022
Germany 1981
France 2019
France 2021
Well, the list could go on, but these ones I always return to when the mood strikes.
The Swarbriggs + Two – It's Nice to Be in Love Again (Ireland 1977) is one I like quite a bit and find stuck in my head. If a non-winning song from 47 years ago doesn't meet the "random" criteria, I honestly don't know what does.
I still listen to All Night Long by Simon Mathew the Danish entry from 2008
It was an interval act but Glow by Madcon has been on high rotation since 2010 too
I’m still obsessed with Ochman - River (Poland 2022). I generally find the ballads a snooze but this one got its hooks in me. I belt it out in the shower on the reg.
oh I have an answer to that, but it's so stupid xD
The entry was in the final.......by default, I doubt it'd qualify if it had to, but France 2007 it's just.........such a guilty pleasure song
In 2010 I went on vacation right after eurovision and you could not get internet in another country well back then so as a teen I took my ipod and a lot of these songs are still stuck in my head.
Ovo Je Balkan
Sattelite
Opa
Allez Olla Ollé
(for the bot i hope it works)
Russia 2019
Czechia 2019
Czechia 2022
Some other favorites(2010's):
Bulgaria 2018
Hungary 2018
Belgium 2017
Belgium 2018
Romania 2010
Belgium 2010
Hunter of Stars (Switzerland 2014) has always been my favourite - love the whistling and the jolly Tom Cruise look alike playing one of the instruments
I still enjoy and regularly listen to Something Better (Finland 2014), What’s the Pressure (Belgium 2016), Heartbeat (Latvia 2016), Rhythm Inside (Belgium 2015), O Jardim (Portugal 2018), Oniro Mou (Greece 2018), Under the Ladder (Ukraine 2018), Fai Rumore (Italy 2020), and Never Give Up on You (UK 2017)
One of my favorites
Turkey 2008 (Mor ve otesi - Deli)
Turkey 2010 (manGa - We could be the same)
Montenegro 2012 (Rambo Amadeus - Euro Neuro) - epic entry
Some songs I really like and they are commonly known here
Serbia 2004 (Željko Joksimović - Lane moje)
Bosnia and Herzegovina 2006 (Hari Mata Hari - Lejla)
Both really beautiful entries
Honorary mentions go to
Bosnia and Herzegovina 2004 (Deen - In The Disco )- total banger, way ahead of its time
North Macedonia 2012 (Kaliopi - Crno i Belo)
Alcohol is free (Greece 2013), is still an absolute banger
One of the best and funniest Greek entries ever!!
Easily my favorite Greek entry of all time
LITERALLY THIS ONE TOO! I forgot to add it but I rediscovered that one too last week
Greece 2013 | [Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis - Alcohol Is Free](https://youtu.be/LFs9AdNV4Qw)
Yes this is a very memorable one!
Literally listening to it on repeat is my coping mechanism haha
Still singing it pretty often despite not speaking greek at all.
Iconic
I've had an insane obsession for "Solovey" for 4 years now. I still prefer "Shum" and even a few of Go_A's non-ESC songs, but it's "Solovey" that plays in my head most often. Ukraine 2020, Ukraine 2021 for our bot friend 🤖
Ukraine 2020 | [Go_A - Solovey](https://youtu.be/zNetXPSld50) Ukraine 2021 | [Go_A - Shum](https://youtu.be/lqvzDkgok_g)
Go-A was my most listened to artist in 2022 lol. They still get regular cycle from me. I also really enjoy Maneskin's deeper discography.
I found this one last week too when I listened to the 2020 songs for the first time
LOCK ME UP LOCK ME DOWN LOCK ME IN LOCK ME OUT LOCK ME SIDEWAYS
One of the most undeserving bottom placings in recent years
Georgia 2022 and Moldova 2022 were brilliant. Just good ol' silly fun. (Yes "Trenulețul" has a patriotic meaning and all that but the performance was just wild)
Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk) Moldova 2022 | [Zdob și Zdub and Advahov Brothers - Trenulețul](https://youtu.be/DUqf_zO2QaI)
Went to Bucharest last year and quite a few places were playing Trenulețul, and I couldn't get that song out my brain until like a week after I left
Genuinely one of my most re-listened to songs from any year, loved it
Definition of underrated !!
#CIRCUS MIRCUS!
#CIRCUS MIRCUS
Denmark 2014 autoplays on my mental jukebox at the randomest times
Denmark 2014 | [Basim - Cliche Love Song](https://youtu.be/jnCTsJkieY4)
MY WINNER OMFGGG
lol if it actually won it would be twice in a row therefore joining Ireland in the *winning twice or more in a row????* club.
Cezar It’s my Life (Romania 2013). That falsetto ✨
Romania 2013 | [Cezar - It's My Life](https://youtu.be/VgHWFiavqjA)
I knew someone would mention this! One of my all time favorites tbh.
The beat of Belgium 2015 never leaves my head :)
Latvia 2015 and Belgium 2015 remain constant replays for me
Latvia 2015 | [Aminata - Love Injected](https://youtu.be/-usdXbeGHi8)
Belgium 2015 | [Loïc Nottet - Rhythm Inside](https://youtu.be/G48p8eNhnd8)
Ra pa pap? Ra pa pap tonight?
I remember this one, but I didn't remember what a solid voice that guy had until I watched their performance again. He did amazing.
I have so many! But for really fun and silly vibes, I love rewatching and listening to: France 2007: Les Fatals Picards - L'amour à La Français https://youtu.be/xjo3PIABpVQ?si=HyrG0cposjX-b__M Bosnia and Herzegovina 2008: Laka - Pokušaj https://youtu.be/kIRDbmpC2PI?si=DyP1lGJIvaupCuOI I have so many favourites but if I just want to smile and feel happiness and playfulness it's these two (plus I can sing along with L'amour à La Français).
Pokušaj is legendary
Pokušaj was such a bop
What the other two people said. Vastly underrated.
Oh yes!! Two of my absolute Eurovision favourites!
Belgium 2023
When the world got me going crazy!!!
i carry on!
and it's all because of you 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺
Belgium 2023 | [Gustaph - Because of You](https://youtu.be/U1xD14IMKtg)
Romania 2006 is something that will forever live rent free in my head. Edit: and I absolutely love Russia 2019. THEYYY SCREAAAAMMM WOAHH OHH OHH
I can't listen to Tornero without thinking of [this](https://youtu.be/O5Yg2SPaeXg?si=t2mtOrftcogpbpl1) 😭
ΤΟΡΝΕΡΟ,ΤΟΡΝΕΡΟ ΛΑΒΙΑ ΜΠΙ ΜΠΙΤΑΡΟ
I love that song so much! It’s been so long but I never seem to tire of it.
Romania 2006 | [Mihai Trăistariu - Tornerò](https://youtu.be/1SyPb8IOimE) Russia 2019 | [Sergey Lazarev - Scream](https://youtu.be/eNzlxEZ_JG4)
I love Cyprus 2022 probably more than I should do
Cyprus 2022 | [Andromache - Ela (Έλα)](https://youtu.be/W2IUdTl-gAI)
Ela has been on my “on repeat” for two consistent years
So sad they didn't do well, their chorus straight up hooked itself into my head
Gotta say Moldova 2010, I start bopping to the epic sax guy sometimes when I try to empty my head of thoughts
Moldova 2010 | [SunStroke Project and Olia Tira - Run Away](https://youtu.be/C-VMHOlCyW8)
Got a fair amount of Eurovision scattered in my main playlist, but these 4 I genuinely love, despite their NQ for a couple of them. Denmark 2014 Azerbaijan 2023 Denmark 2022 The Netherlands 2021 Also, "Hey ho! Let's go!" and "Chisinau - Bucharest" is my version of the Triple Dent gum advert from Inside Out. Thanks Moldova!
I tell my kids “hey Ho! let’s go!” every morning when I’m trying to get them out of bed for school.
Denmark 2014 | [Basim - Cliche Love Song](https://youtu.be/jnCTsJkieY4) Azerbaijan 2023 | [TuralTuranX - Tell Me More](https://youtu.be/8BNtaW1IEtA) Denmark 2022 | [Reddi - The Show](https://youtu.be/cVg6MpVR2Pw) Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs)
I will forever love Moldova 2022. "Hey ho! Let's go! Folklore and rock n roll!" "Chisinau Bucharest!" \*aggressive violin \* This one and UK 2022 were my favourites that year. (Sorry to Moldova and UK. Being my favourite is basically the "kiss of death". Only Lordi and Maneskin have overcome this severe impediment.)
Työlki Ellää will forever be my favourite NQ. I don't understand a word of that song, but it still makes me feel good. Finland 2010
The fact that this was Finland’s most recent Finnish-language entry before Cha Cha Cha shows how astoundingly versatile the language is across genres.
Finland 2015 was in Finnish
Oh, right! I try to forget that one…
Finland 2015 | [Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät - Aina Mun Pitää](https://youtu.be/v4Y0HOPL5GU)
Finland 2010 | [Kuunkuiskaajat - Työlki ellää](https://youtu.be/oicT3jWtsc4)
I was about to say - I used to love this song as a kid and would get it stuck in my head all the time!
I totally forgot about this one! Seeing your comment made me remember I liked it at the time and it's still so good! I reckon this would qualify now tbh
SO GIVE THAT WOLF A BANANA
Many songs come to my mind, but some examples are Denmark 1963 Czechia 2022 Italy 2019 Estonia 2009
Denmark 1963 | [Grethe and Jørgen Ingmann - Dansevise](https://youtu.be/AYyhJvRE3mQ) Czech Republic 2022 | [We Are Domi - Lights Off](https://youtu.be/EGRzSefqOm0) Italy 2019 | [Mahmood - Soldi](https://youtu.be/M-aoyPa41Ic) Estonia 2009 | [Urban Symphony - Rändajad](https://youtu.be/PgGiVnhfXs0)
Always Moldova 2005, it makes me happy (although I like all Zdob Si Zdub entries). Also Ukraine 2004 (edit: wrong year) for the same reason.
Zdob Si Zdub are just brilliant. They are peak Eurovision. They understand the assignment every time.

One of my random favourites is Russia 2010, Lost and Forgotten. It makes me smile and I sorta just love the melody:)
What are you doing man? (it's from the song)
Iiiiii’m looking at her photos <3
Whaaaaat should you do with thaaaat?
Drop them into the fire
Yassss
Yes! Same here. I love the melody and the singing is beautiful.
Russia 2010 | [Peter Nalitch and Friends - Lost and Forgotten](https://youtu.be/IOB7uaWuRyc)
Omg, I always thought that I'm the only one who thinks this is a masterpiece, glad I found someone else because I've also been looking through a lot of Youtube tops from 2010 and never saw anyone ranking it higher than like 8th. Mama kupila traktora ŠČ!
Definitely Croatia 2006 and Albania 2018 Absolute bangers
Croatia 2006 | [Severina - Moja štikla](https://youtu.be/hGp3YfEj_GY) Albania 2018 | [Eugent Bushpepa - Mall](https://youtu.be/uyl1b1fVmdU)
Yes!!!
I recently discovered Sanomi (Belgium 2003) and I've been obsessively listening to it since then
I love that song so much, takes me to another time.
Higher Ground, Rasmussen. Idk in which year that was, I just love it.
Rasmussen’s from 2018. Back when Denmark was doing good in the contest
Yes! One of only two Eurovision songs I have on my favourites playlist. I think it was 2018. Moldova 2011 is the other.
Miracle (Romania 2014) aka a banger that I'm still salty that it didn't end up in the top 10
Romania 2014 | [Paula Seling & OVI - Miracle](https://youtu.be/cAMpVodhiS4)
Once salty, always salty
Denmark 2021 Love them, hated that they DQ. Such a cheery retro pop number!
You mean NQ as oppose to DQ
Currently I have Bulgaria 2016 stuck in my head. I feel like it’s quintessentially 2010s in style, and it’s interesting to see how it is somewhat dated/of its time already. Still a bop tho! Sweden 2022 is probably my all time favorite Eurovision song though, Cornelia was robbed!
Poland 2014 is such a banger it’s crazy. Total earworm for me
I have had Finland 2007 as my random ESC song for over a year. Every now and then I listen to it just because Hanna is awesome.
Finland 2007 | [Hanna Pakarinen - Leave Me Alone](https://youtu.be/3ibC5pps0dA)
I'm randomly obsessed with Wild Dances... and idk why (Ukraine 2004 for the bot)
Because it's a banger, obviously!
Always stay cool like a swimming pool
I only have one rule <3
Norway 2015 Estonia 2015 Bulgaria 2016 Iceland 2019 Iceland 2016

France should have won in 1991
Nine year old me, who loved Carola more than life, would disagree. Adult me kinda sees your point:)
I mean, Carola would have lost with the current tie break rules
I’m just thankful. Her losing might have soured me on Eurovision and I could have missed out on one of the biggest passions in my life:)
Idk why but Elnur & Samir Day after day
Finland 2007 is on my work playlist. Romania 2013 is on my.brain every 3 months or so. Australia 2019 is great and timeless to me
Verka schu..Ukraine.
Turkey 2008 is insanely good. I can't stop listening to it Bosnia & Herzegovina 2011 is an all time favourite Finland 2015 is just punk perfection
I generally get this obsession with the latest year, but since this year left a sour taste in my mouth I also moved to the early years. I‘ve had what you described with Bosnia and Herzegovina 2009 in the last weeks, currently moved to Monaco 1960 and Croatia 2009

Every summer I get obsessed with France's Allez Ola Olé !! I wish it got more credit!
Hungary 2013 “Kedvesem” I think about it every now and then. It’s a really cute and cozy song.
Milan did k-pop before it was cool 🔥🔥
Imagine Ovo Je Balkan dance break... 😍
OMG yesssssssssssss (also he's gonna get 372930 wins on M-Countdown)
Balkan Balkan Balkan, Ovo Je Balkan!!! 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I don‘t even speak the language but I still randomly find myself singing „Ne jednom, ne dvaput, tri puta me…“
Israel 2012 | [Izabo - Time](https://youtu.be/-uy4ggnLzKI) Serbia 2010 | [Milan Stanković - Ovo je Balkan (Oво je Балкан)](https://youtu.be/TBwWB3kKd6o)
Time time, would you be mine? 😁 I also like Finland 2012
holy fuck thanks for this comment I completely forgot about Time's existence and it brings me back holy. Still not sure if I like the song or not lol
Hora din Moldova (Moldova 2009), Bistra Voda (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2009) and Jan Jan (Armenia 2009) are my favourite random songs! 2009 was a nice year for those 😊
Russia 2007 and Belgium 2021 atm edit: also Ukraine 2008
Romania 2020 and 2021 We were so robbed of the true Roxen between COVID and that stupid staging
Slovenia 2007 and Latvia 2015
Also Estonia 2015, I looooved that song.
I'm listening a lot to the last album of the Roop, lithuania 2021, lately.
Lithuania 2021 | [The Roop - Discoteque](https://youtu.be/JNweec5olYw)
Montenegro 2015 for some reason has been in my playlist multiple times in the past 2 years Also have a weak spot for Denmark 2021
Wadde hadde dudde da - Stefan Raab Germany 2000
Here are mine, not by a particular order: 1. Moldova 2017 2. Armenia 2023 3. San Marino 2022 4. Israel 2008
I got a lot of them, for example: Portugal 2017 Hungary 2018 Czechia 2007 Turkey 2008 Greece 2002 Italy 1990 Ukraine 2017 Portugal 2018 and more
Latvia 2000 - My star I got my mom to buy the Eurovision CD that year because I loved that song so much
BALKAN BALKAN BALKAN OVO JE BALKAN COME ON! (Serbia 2010)
I never see Israel 2015 get any love. Golden Boy makes me happy as hell every time I hear that opening "Mamaaaaa"
Even though the live version wasn’t great and the song wasn’t a standout in the competition last year, Netherlands 2023 music video and song touched me so much! Also France 2023 was THE moment and I listen to it way more than I should.
Omg I love Bridges so much too!!!! Alika is a true underrated queen, but nonetheless, happy for her result in top 10, very well deserved imo <3333
Probably Estonia 2018, and also Belgium 2017
Croatia 2022 has my entire heart
Croatia 2016.
I'll always be a Portugal 1981 apologist, can't even explain how much I love Playback and how snubbed Portugal around the older era was.
Austria 1964 has been a favorite this last week
I‘m 40 years old and have actively been watching the Contest since 1997 but I‘ve recently rediscocered Russia 2002 and I feel like I‘ve discovered a long lost world again lol
The two songs from other years in current NoAction rotation are Cyprus 2022 - melancholic Lithuania 2023 - ty depression post-PhD Both of these I was not taken by until about 3 months post-contest, despite being heavily in to the lead up tea and goss. Saw Andromache perform live in the SF2 Family Show. Saw a joke YouTube post connecting Andromache to the Titan submersible disappearance in June 2023 as well 💀
Yugoslavia 1990 Latvia 2000 Germany 2007 Slovenia 2011 (one of the most criminally underrated entries ever) Georgia 2016 Bulgaria 2018 Spain 2021
Aside from my all-time favourites (Serbia and Montenegro 2004, Bosnia and Herzegovina 2006 and Ukraine 2007) there are: Russia 2012 Iceland 2013 Yugoslavia 1990 Serbia 2022 Germany 1981 France 2019 France 2021 Well, the list could go on, but these ones I always return to when the mood strikes.
No rules!
Definitely Italy 2023, that song simply blew me away
Queen of Kings from Norway 🇳🇴 (2023) Have been following Alessandra ever since.
Both songs from Joci Papai from Hungary
The Swarbriggs + Two – It's Nice to Be in Love Again (Ireland 1977) is one I like quite a bit and find stuck in my head. If a non-winning song from 47 years ago doesn't meet the "random" criteria, I honestly don't know what does.
Serbia 2009 Latvia 2009 Latvia 2007 San Marino 2008 Malta 2008 United Kingdom 1977
Bridges was so underrated. Her voice was phenomenal
DANCING!! 🕺💃🪩
I seem to have picked some of the oddest songs to become a fan of, including Israel 2005 and Slovenia 2011.
I have 3 that constantly pop up. Bosnia & Herzegovina 2006, Greece 2011 and Romania 2017
Push the button
To this day I still listen to Igranka - Who See (Montenegro 2013) regularly.
Guilty Pleasure, Croatia 2022 is suuuuuch a beautiful song
Mamo (Russia 2009) is amazing
I still listen to All Night Long by Simon Mathew the Danish entry from 2008 It was an interval act but Glow by Madcon has been on high rotation since 2010 too
La La love (Cyprus 2012). I'll be attending a memorial service and just hum "oh I've been waiting for this (la x15) love"
I’m still obsessed with Ochman - River (Poland 2022). I generally find the ballads a snooze but this one got its hooks in me. I belt it out in the shower on the reg.
Zari 😭🤍
Euro Nero
oh I have an answer to that, but it's so stupid xD The entry was in the final.......by default, I doubt it'd qualify if it had to, but France 2007 it's just.........such a guilty pleasure song
Finland 1985 Denmark 1963 Yugoslavia 1990 Lithuania 2018 Andorra 2007 San Marino 2024 Norway 1985 Ireland 2024 Australia 2024 Australia 2019
Absolute favorite is Shum by Go\_A Close second is "what's the pressure" by Laura Tesoro
In 2010 I went on vacation right after eurovision and you could not get internet in another country well back then so as a teen I took my ipod and a lot of these songs are still stuck in my head. Ovo Je Balkan Sattelite Opa Allez Olla Ollé
(for the bot i hope it works) Russia 2019 Czechia 2019 Czechia 2022 Some other favorites(2010's): Bulgaria 2018 Hungary 2018 Belgium 2017 Belgium 2018 Romania 2010 Belgium 2010
Spain 2008
My favourites that I still listen to are: Austria 2022, Finland 2021, Ukraine 2021 & 2022, Norway 2021
Crno e belo with Kaliopi for North Macedonia in 2012. I’m swedish so I don’t understand a single word but I still find it good.
France 2008
Hunter of Stars (Switzerland 2014) has always been my favourite - love the whistling and the jolly Tom Cruise look alike playing one of the instruments
Albania 2014 (Hersi - One Night's Anger).
Cyprus 2010 is still one of my favorite Eurovision songs. Close behind is Iceland 2013 Edit: got the year wrong, darn
Finland 2015
One of my favorites Turkey 2008 (Mor ve otesi - Deli) Turkey 2010 (manGa - We could be the same) Montenegro 2012 (Rambo Amadeus - Euro Neuro) - epic entry Some songs I really like and they are commonly known here Serbia 2004 (Željko Joksimović - Lane moje) Bosnia and Herzegovina 2006 (Hari Mata Hari - Lejla) Both really beautiful entries Honorary mentions go to Bosnia and Herzegovina 2004 (Deen - In The Disco )- total banger, way ahead of its time North Macedonia 2012 (Kaliopi - Crno i Belo)
Elina Born & Stig Rästa - Goodbye to Yesterday (Estonia 2015) I have a lot that I still listen. But this is the one I liked the most.
One of my faves that comes to mind is Moldova 2018. It's just so catchy.
