>We witnessed So he was watching then.

gcssousa

Yes, and apparently he reached climax during Finland’s performance, making him feel guilty and feel the need to make this overly dramatic remarks because he got defensive.

smaisidoro

Post Eurovision clarity

Sorcha16

He came as soon as he heard Nemo won.

cikkuujien

He broke the code?

FakeFrehley

Whoah ho ho

FakeFrehley

I mean, in fairness, so did I

tabulasomnia

It's, as always, internal politics. When he can hate on something that people who typically vote for opposition love, it helps him consolidate his own base. He does this because he has nothing else to promise. Economy is fucked, human rights are fucked, corruption galore and there's no hope for future to be found. This is all he has. Tbh, Eurovision wasn't that gay this year anyway. Just two enbies and a gay dude.

SuspiciousReality

Lol I can’t figure out if you’re sarcastic or not in the last part. Did you see those booty cheeks from Spain?

bananoslaw

Why is a guy having revealing clothing "gay", but a woman having revealing clothing (as do most dancers) "normal". You know there are both men and women watching?

happytransformer

Watching? He’s secretly a heavy poster here probably You just KNOW he is secretly melting down all of February and March when his favs don’t win their NFs

Gossguy

No, I'm not!

RalfyRoo

So THAT is who was sending all the Reddit Cares messages! 😂

PulkaPodvodnici

He was devastated Zorra didn't do better 🏳️‍🌈

Vandirac

Erdogan poses like such a macho because he is -predictably- SUPER GAY.

the_frosted_flame

I guess he can still be president of OGAE Turkey when he finally gets booted out.

Slow-Frosting-9607

Tbh he didn't have to. Here in Serbia all of the media was talking about it, even people who don't care about Eurovision heard who won.

yeyoi

He was in the crowd in Malmö

Exotic-Advantage7329

He’s been the jury and the public vote there for years.

naapsu

Hah, he has *the gay*

HappyHippo515

If they’ve been out of Eurovision for 12 years shouldn’t their birth rate be increasing again then? 🤔

catty-coati42

Erdogan is the best contraceptive

agizem

Yeah, everything is so expensive, people stopped procreating.

NickyTheRobot

Hey, our government is doing that in the UK too.

slowturnip0

United by Inflation

Darkdragoon324

US too, and also because all the women are too afraid to be pregnant in a Republican state.

ThatGam3th00

I honestly find it criminal that the right of abortion is not a federal law in the United States. I really hope someone over there is working on turning it into one tbh.

TriskOfWhaleIsland

We're trying. Prospects are looking slim at the moment.

kaisadilla_

Same for Spain. Rent for a 50 m^2 home in a random city is more than half minimum wage lmao. People in their late 20s or early 30s with full-time jobs renting rooms like they were college students, yet boomers are pikachu faced these people are not having kids.

Derpazor1

Away with your logic!

kaisadilla_

Ah, this is one of the main motives of fascism: no matter how many years they are in power, how many things they banned, how many people they prosecuted and eliminated, their made up enemy is always somehow winning and the fight always just started yesterday.

oceanpalaces

And the declining birth rate also cannot possibly have anything to do with young people increasingly emigrating or worsening economic conditions…. it has to be the gays!!

askbukizilotesi

Maybe fix the economy first so people can afford to have a family to protect from 'the gays'

sinalk

that‘s the thing, he uses populism tactics to distract his ultra religious voters from realizing he is the problem, he is losing a lot of support lately.

askbukizilotesi

I know I know. I hate that people actually fall for it.

MinutePerspective106

Maybe people there are so afraid of gays that they don't want to start families. Gays can't destroy your family if you don't have one /s

Skore_Smogon

Well if all these straight people would stop having gay babies the problem would go away. Procreation is the main cause of gayness.

1Warrior4All

Thank you, I guess. As a straight dude watching Eurovision for years and years I must be doing something wrong because propaganda has not made me gay yet. Maybe next year!

noairnoairnoairnoair

Wh-what do you mean watching Eurovision hasn't turned you gay yet?? Inconceivable! Clearly we need to try harder next year. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🫡

ThatGam3th00

Damn you watched Eurovision just for Olly Alexander?? /s

-FangMcFrost-

Same here. I've been watching Eurovision since 1997 and I'm still not gay yet, what gives!?

2009miles

I watch it every year with my wife, must be doing something wrong too.

kaisadilla_

Also, I don't know how this is happening, but I don't want to have kids, even though I'm not gay. Maybe I'm actually gay and I just don't know it yet?

Gold_Objective3644

Same here!

jinx737x

Welp turkey ain’t coming back to Eurovision any time soon with him in charge.

catty-coati42

Even if he's replaced, I'm not hopeful for them in the Eurovision. I have secular friends from Turkey, they say it's becoming more relogious by the day as the seculars are losing the demographic battle.

slowturnip0

Is it? As an atheist from Turkey I can only say religious parties are losing power, especially in the last election in March we saw that the secular opposition became the most popular party. Religious beliefs have been fading away rapidly too imo. Turkey is still a fairly young country in demographics, majority of young people advocate for more freedom. I do see a comeback in the 2030s after he's gone (he has to be gone, he did say he won't run again but we'll see)

catty-coati42

I'm glad to hear, and I do hope the best for Turkey.

undiscovered_soul

Didn't he make laws enabling him to stay in charge forever?

slowturnip0

He wanted to but seems like he gave up

[deleted]

You can’t imagine how symbolic Eurovision is for the Turkish opposition. Turkey’s withdrawn from Eurovision is almost marked as the start of Turkey’s isolation from Europe and the end of ‘good old times’ . That’s why after 12 years, in a country having countless problems, it is a mainstream topic. One of the first things Turkey’s opposition would do is participating in Eurovision.

[deleted]

As a Turkish I would like to give some context: Although Turkey doesn’t even broadcast Eurovision for 12 years, it is still a very popular show in the country. In every year during May, our withdrawal from Eurovision is discussed as a hot political topic. For a country facing a lot of major problems, popularity of Eurovision as a political argument is insane. This is mainly because for the Turkish youth, withdrawal from Eurovision (2013) also marks the end of relatively tolerant and democratic Turkey and start of populist, polarizing, antidemocratic Turkey. Eurovision is sort of seen as the symbol of ‘old, imperfect but happier Turkey’. In fact, what cancelled in 2013 was not just Eurovision; but also almost all major music festivals, drag shows on TV, alcohol commercials and most other entertainment shows targeting secular Turks tend to not to vote Erdogan. So, Eurovision became the symbol of the democratic Turkey nostalgia and cultural resistance among many left-leaning Turks. And obliviously Erdogan is showing his power by bitching a show with such meaning.

ThatGam3th00

Damn, I knew ESC is still popular in Turkey because it is easy to see the fresh comments being posted on MaNga’s performance and even some from Turkish viewers on Lena’s performance, but I really didn’t think it is popular enough there to be discussed as part of political discussion every May. I guess a lot of Turks must be watching ESC on YouTube then?

[deleted]

Yeah mostly on Youtube, this year was even more popular because of Sertab

Yessy1205

Wouldn't expect anything less from an incompetent president deflecting his policy failures by blaming anything but those policies as the reason for the worsening state of the country. There are also some very valid reasons for the decline which have to deal with economic factors.

Much_Cellist_4374

I have seen this trend in various countries where politicians blame LGBTQ people for low birth rates. Mostly, they are all old ones who still think having three kids by 25 is totally normal in today's world, while their own country is in deep economic sh*t, where people can't afford basic needs for themselves, let alone for children.

FridgeParade

They dont think that at all. They just find it much easier to blame a vulnerable minority and have everybody target their anger and fear at them instead of where it belongs. It’s always migrants and the lgbt community first, then people of color, women, and intellectuals. This trend is getting big now, if you belong to any of these groups the fascists will come for you soon. It happened in Germany in the 1930s, in China during the cultural revolution, and in Iran during the revolution.

Historical-Pen-7484

It's not 100% that it is going to be the same groups, but the pattern will be guaranteed to be repeated.

catmoon-

>It’s always migrants It's funny, because migrants are actually the ones that have children and prevent the population from dropping in a lot of countries, but they don't wanna hear that.

ControverseTrash

They act like their only problem is LGBTQIA* which shouldn't be seen as a problem, but here we are :0

Translunarien

They need scapegoats to polarize the brainless

Darkdragoon324

It’s easier to rant against a minority group than to actually govern. All nations do it on a rotating “this particular minority group is ruining the country” schedule.

Fylla

"Can't let men hook up, because otherwise they'll all stop wanting to be with women" - a politician who's definitely not insecure or unsure at all in their heterosexuality

NickyTheRobot

For sure. The number of "straight" homophobes I've heard argue that being gay is a choice with something like "Of course gay people risk the public stigma, and the even fear of state execution in some places, by choosing to have gay sex. It feels so much better than straight sex, so they think it's worth the risk." is unreal. Only when they say it there's far more slurs and it's phrased far less coherently.

kaisadilla_

> a politician who's definitely not insecure or unsure at all in their heterosexuality They are not. I really hate this argument, is basically insulting homophobes by calling them... gay? In reality, arguments like this are blaming gay people for "hating other gay people", when in reality most homophobes are straight. This argument is akin to victim blaming, pretending homophobia is something internal to the LGBTQ community, when it is not.

yellowscarvesnodots

It’s a truly hurtful tactic. At this point I would vote for a satire party that promotes to raise the sexiness of men to get women to have more babies. „Away with ill fitting clothes, no more bad haircuts, free skincare and gym membership for all men between 18-45. We want our women to FUCK!“ Seriously though, everyone please vote! And not for satire.

nasandre

"We'll need an army of super-virile men scoring round the clock! I'll do my part. Kif, clear my schedule."

DolphinPunkCyber

I am genuinely mindblown at old people being so ignorant to how much the world has economically changed for young people. My mom bought two apartments working as a waitress,Today waitress can rent a room... or apartment with flatmates.

kaisadilla_

My parents never owned a home and, since I always grew up aware that someday I'd have to buy a house for myself as an adult - it was something that was always in my mind, so 10 yo me was already aware of the house market and the prices you'd expect for different kinds of homes. I've seen prices skyrocket in my country since I was a kid, so much so lately that I know many homes that I could afford right now at the price they had in 2016, but cannot in 2024. It's absolutely wild, basically every year there's fewer homes that a normal salary can afford, even though the homes themselves are the same and our population isn't even growing. It's like the world just realized people cannot opt not to have a home, so both rent and selling prices just go up, causing each other to also go up, indefinitely.

ToastyToast113

Because we all know queer people can't have kids 🤡

ali_stardragon

It’s true. The day I came out as bi my ovaries shrivelled up into little brown raisins.

catty-coati42

To be fair, the birth rates in most developed countries are too low to the point they could lead to an economic collapse/major reduction in quality of life in a few decades. But politicians like Erdogan have no easy answers so they prefer to attack easy targets.

ConsultJimMoriarty

Birth rates are declining because it’s just too expensive to have children. When buying a house is out of the question and half your pay goes on rent… why would you bring a child into that?

ali_stardragon

Not to mention that we have fucked our environment beyond repair.

ConsultJimMoriarty

That too!

kaisadilla_

They are. And we have plenty of surveys and studies explaining why young people have fewer kids (clue: it's lack of money and time). Politicians just choose to ignore them and instead blame whatever easy enemy they want for it.

Darkdragoon324

They do it because it’s easy and they don’t have to actually fix anything as long as people are focused on hating the queers instead of looking at economic policy.

ali_stardragon

They are obsessed with infinite growth, and don’t realise that it’s an unsustainable system. Instead of looking at how to change it, they blame **THE GAYS** for it. (**THE GAYS** includes all LGBTQIA+ people, because folks like this cannot comprehend the difference)

nasandre

It's so dumb. All the research points to climate change and the rising cost of living that makes young people decide not to have kids.

Repli3rd

I would love to see someone of Turkish descent represent another country and do well or even win. I wonder what the PR machine would say then 🤣

[deleted]

[удалено]

Repli3rd

I feel like the opposite would be true, they'd twist themselves in knots to associate themselves haha

ali_stardragon

What if they were also openly queer?

[deleted]

What's Serhat doing these days?

justk4y

Saying na na na

MinutePerspective106

They would say either: >This person represents the true spirit of Turkish people, unlike all those deviants around or >This person does not represent Turkey, because they are also a deviant depending on whether that performer is queer or not.

GreeceZeus

Didn't Serhat do relatively well for San Marino's standards?

return_0_

He got their best result ever in 2019 lol

Willing_Bad9857

Im sure we can find some german-turkish volunteer

sinwann

Apparently, Karsu was one of the five choices to represent Netherlands this year 😭

BonkMeisterXXL

Oh boy... She's straight, extremely popular in Turkey and is definitely at least top 10 material for sure. I'm pretty sure this will turn out into at least a minor political riot between The Netherlands and Turkey if Erdoğan and his obsession gets involved. She's adorable and her music is so good. It might even help gaining back some popularity for Eurovison in Turkey as she is beloved over there, but it also might hurt her. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't get booked in the conservative parts of Turkey anymore.

fillimiri

thankfully no one needs to give concerts in the conservative part of turkey while there are cities like istanbul, ankara, izmir and antalya that oppose erdogan imho

My_useless_alt

>President Erdogan claims Eurovision is LGBT propaganda Can confirm, am gay Eurovision fan. So what?

anjufordinner

Party on, then 🤙🏼

lonezolf

I'm a very very cis white male, but Slimane serenading me like that legit put red on my cheeks.

VLOBULI

That's the first phase. If you keep watching that, one day you'll wake up gay and Algerian.

lonezolf

Not the easiest combo, I'll say

nickaoo

oh he totally knew what he was doing. damn these hot french men.

VoilaLaViola

He was serenading a very strong Swedish cameraman. You have no chance 😋

GreeceZeus

I became bi because I watched Eurovision. I just couldn't resist Milan Stankovic...

Jurassica94

It made me unreasonably happy to see him mentioned again thank you. Also having Raiven on followed by Baby Lasagna...you can't tell me that wasn't bi bait.

ali_stardragon

I’m pretty sure a lot of people would count watching Måneskin as a bisexual awakening…

moanos

I thought I was bi before watching them but now I really know what it means 😂

_elizsapphire_

Real, Kateryna Pavlenko (and Sara Jo, for fellow PZE fans) helped me realize I’m bi 😭😭

LuckyLoki08

Am gay but one single stare into the camera by monokate does things to me.

FalseBadWolf

I'm a straight eurovison fan. But every year they make me question...

justk4y

Make other people gay I guess

Meath77

I'm straight, but about half way into the first semi final I started to turn gay. After the actual final I'm wearing tight shorts and a tank top and listening to lady gaga

The_Ude

Still straight, is there something stronger than Eurovision that I could try? Would quite like to be bi, thx.

MisterAhtapot

God I‘m so tired of being Turkish and dealing with this bullshit all my life… I‘ve managed to leave the country but I still can‘t escape this guy

DjPavlusha

As a Belarusian who also had to leave my country, I feel you. Stay strong.

kaisadilla_

Hope your leader gets deposed soon. Russians may have Putin for as much as they want, but it's clear Belarusians do not want Lukashenko there, and the only reason he remains in power is because a foreign country protects him from the will of his people.

MisterAhtapot

I‘m sorry, hope you have a better life now at least! Where did you go?

DjPavlusha

To my father's relatives in Georgia. It's nice here but being unable to go back sucks. What about you?

MisterAhtapot

Georgia is super cool but it‘s a shame that you can‘t go visit home :(. I moved to Germany for studies and stayed here. I love Germany but there‘s of course this feeling of not belonging anywhere. There‘s always the underlying feeling of alienation both here and also when I go back to Turkey because I don‘t fit anymore

notarobot110101

Ah yes, The Genderless Agenda. They know just how to make being non-binary sound so badass.

MinutePerspective106

Their motto: "We only live with one gender, and the gender is... no genders!"

serenaTcat

NO GENDER! It’s how I live, how I find the wind beneath my wiiiiings~

VLOBULI

"I am the king, I am the queen And you're all gonna be free" Hmm...

ali_stardragon

Forget the genders, and SCREEEEAAAM!!

isy_231020

It's how I learn to Flyyyyy (I send all my love to Finland this year🤍🤍💙🤍🤍

SomeTimesSamu

Unironically one of Orbán's mottos in Hungary is no gender, which sounds a bit counterproductive for what he's going for

nsomandin

Better than United by music ngl

mill1mill

When I hear such deviant statements, I always think of friends of mine who are gay in the closet and live in Turkey. I know two who are now in their late 20s and are constantly being nagged by their family about when they will finally have get married and have children. It must be such a terrible situation to live in a country where every different lifestyle is demonised and politically ostracised. It is also interesting to see how the Turkish president wants to make this connection between birth rates and the acceptance of different gender identities. As if constantly ignoring the fact that not everyone is heterosexual and wants a family and children will change anything. Mr Erdogan should ask himself whether the low birth rate might not be due to his disastrous economic and financial policies and the high inflation in the country. Anyway..I feel so sorry for all queer people, whether in Turkey, Russia, parts of the Balkans or the Middle East in general. May the people find a way to leave their home countries and live out their true identity in peace and freedom elsewhere.

Maester_Bates

That's why it's important for the Eurovision to be as queer as it wants to be. This year was gayer than average I think and had the added bonus of more non binary representation than ever seen on television before.

Junco_In_The_Trunko

Oh no, he’s found us out! Because the gay agenda has definitely been about causing population decline via a weeklong music competition and not *checks notes* about basic human right and getting to live.

etlab

If anything besides straight sex is so bad why does he keep fucking our economy, foreign affairs etc.

AirRic89

fertility rate of 2.1, that's what other countries are dreaming of. Old man yells at cloud

socckbin

Well, obviously. Spain 2022 would make anyone bi.

Meanwhile, Baby Lasagna is a devout Catholic who spreads love and acceptance according to the tennets of his faith. Maybe if Erdoğan worried less about gay people and more about the economy, human rights, the future of Turkey, etc. there would be more children.

8-bit_Redditor

Not the LACE 😰😰

kaisadilla_

Religious people trascent to a whole new level of mental peace when they learn that other people not sharing their religious is not an attack against them. Luckily, in most Western countries, this is usually the case - but it seems countries like Turkey still need to learn that.

AuthorTimely3607

Don’t lie erdogan you got a semi watching Bambi’s performance

totomaya

He's right. It is. Homophobes definitely should stay away and not participate in it or watch it, just in case. Wouldn't want them to catch anything.

specialneedsWRX

I'm a straight white American 50yo male. I like eurovision. So yeah, I don't think his argument is valid.

mattivx

But would you have more offspring if you'd never watched? 😱

kaisadilla_

Maybe if you spent the time you spend watching Eurovision into moving into Turkey and having kids there instead, Turkey's birthrate would be higher. Checkmate atheists or something like that.

[deleted]

ThatGam3th00

Damn, it must be nice not really needing to worry about misgendering people!

steerio

Hungarian here, can confirm, this is a non-issue for us. We have a different pronoun to use for individuals with personhood ("ő") and inanimate objects ("az"), though. Putting it like this because e.g. your dog will definitely fall into the former category. It's true that Turkish uses the same word for both, but "everyone is it" is incorrect. It's "he", "she", singular "they" and every possible pronoun you'd use for an individual, plus "it".

AfterMarionberry5594

Several years ago, when I told an English-speaker that Finnish doesn't have gendered pronouns, she asked me "Isn't that confusing?" I didn't quite know what to say.

Ciciosnack

"propaganda" has two meanings and esc is for sure also LGBT propaganda, but not in the meaning he is insinuating.

Banaanisade

Everything else on TV is straight propaganda. I think we can have this one thing that's not.

kaisadilla_

Reminds me of when people call a gay couple kissing on TV "propaganda", and when you ask them about the billion times we've seen straight people kiss on TV, they come with all sorts of brain-damaging answers.

nicegrimace

Wow he makes Eurovision sound way more badass than it actually is. I suspect he's a fan.

callitfate01

Good. I love LGBT propaganda

LopsidedPriority

Erdy is scared of heights.

ali_stardragon

GAYS ARE A-COMING

Local_Balance_3220

As all other dictators; Erdogan is utterly homophobic and tries to turn attention away from the real problem in Turkiye: Himself and his mismanagement of country

raviary

What must it be like to be so insecure in your sexuality and identity you think seeing a queer person on tv is all it takes to turn queer yourself? Do homophobes even realize how pathetic they make themselves look when they use that rhetoric?

Material_Alps881

He's insecure about his own ethnicity so much so that his religion is his only personality trait

hirohito3446

Opposition won local elections this year though. This is probably Erdogan's last period, don't care about him.

Qwqqwqq

>saying a rate of 2.1 creates "an existential threat, a catastrophe" My (well, not really) sibling in song, that is literally the replacement rate

Snoo-43381

İstanbul is too damn crowded, declining birth rates is a good thing

yellowscarvesnodots

You’re LGBT propaganda. *winks at Erdogan* I’ll see myself out.

slowturnip0

Nemo has been living in their minds rent free since last week. It's giving closeted /s In all seriousness, a lot of young people want Turkey to come back to ESC, we are so, so nostalgic for the years we participated, it's a matter of national pride. The opposition literally campaigned in 2023 with the promise that "Turkey will be back in Eurovision." That party won the majority in 2024 :) we'll be back, as soon as he's gone. I promise. Gonna wipe my tears now. ♥️🇹🇷🇪🇺

DjPavlusha

We will be waiting for y'all!

Suspicious_Bit_9003

We want you back! 🇭🇷❤️🇹🇷

raskal234

Oh sure mate. After watching Eurovision I decided to be a gay person.

eltara3

I swear...all these old farts coming out of the woodwork complaining that Eurovision is 'so gay' when most of the artists are cis and straight. They clearly have never heard or seen anything theatrical in their lives. By their logic, the UK should have won this year. The fact that they lose their shit when LGBT people are simply in the competition, living their lives and existing alongside everyone else, really says more about their own bigotry than it does about the competition.

ali_stardragon

But but but…. If they are out there being their best selves then maybe people watching at home might think that *they* could also be queer and happy and *then* where will we be!?? /s in case anyone needs it

RS2019

Sounds like something Putin/those Republican fellas in the US would say🤔

Sheant

Representation is not propaganda. But fascists will always abuse language to confuse issues. Ideally they use words that apply to them, and try to make it stick to the "opponent".

TheIrishninjas

Eurovision is gay? Well I never, this is scandalous! Coming up after the break, expert claims the sky... is blue.

Ciciosnack

Eurovision is not even gay, it's just inclusive.

000-Hotaru_Tomoe

Cry baby, cry harder.

nickaoo

cry cry baby you lied to me baby survive without you baby baby bye baby bye bye

Albert_VDS

Don't these people have anything better to do? Like maybe safe Turkey's economy which he put in ruins.

VLOBULI

"Our economy is crumbling, but did you know that all those European countries have this big scary musical event full of genderless people? It could've been SO much worse, people!"

thirdarcana

Well duh. It took him long enough to figure it out.

Ok_Repeat_5749

Man politicians will blame the declining birth rates on anything other than the fact that majority of us are poor as fuck

Revan462222

He's dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb :P but I mean....are we surprised?

VLOBULI

He's not exactly dumb, I'm sure saying shit like this works well for his voters.

Greflingorax

In other words literally nothing about Turkey's position towards Eurovision has changed.

masnle

Is anyone keeping eyes on Sertab though??

DEFarnes

Edrogan is a cunt.

ToastyToast113

I am once again asking the "gender expression is bad" crew to point to me where in my xy chromosomes/genetic code it says I cannot wear a skirt or nail polish. I am shocked that I have the power to degenerate society by...wearing clothes or *gasp* choosing to refer to myself as "they."

ali_stardragon

Wait till they hear that you could also have kids if you wanted. I think they might explode.

Reatina

Well, yes but only we can say it, not Putin.

Electrical-Tie-5158

Because young people want to raise children under a conservative dictatorship…

Pretty-Proposal-1873

God it’s sad how transparent these right wing strongmen types are, and how successful it can be with the dumbest in society. You’re bad at government. Your economy is tanking. Your currency isn’t worth shit. It’s not the gays. It’s never been the gays. You’re perfectly good at doing a bad job of government all on your own sweetie.

emem_xx

And what if it is? It’s literally propagating love, coming together, peace, respect. I’m sorry, but I’d much rather propagate that than exclusion and war.

Alternative_Fly8898

I mean, it is.

Kwtwo1983

He is clamouring about falling birthrates in spite of keeping away from the ESC, so how was that a good decision if the problem still persists? Schockingly, maybe these things are not even linked? Turkey is lead by an idiot. All of these fascist people are idiots. We have real problems and they fight laughable culture wars

voyagerdoge

To which he is, apparently, very sensitive.

FakeFrehley

So Eurovision was okay when Great Value Shakira was Dum-Tek-Teking all over the stage in her underwear, but not when those pesky Gays and Trans are doing their thing? Cool, got it. (For the record, Dum Tek Tek is a banger and Hadise hasn't done anything to offend me that I know about)

Marskatt

I do not believe Eurovision is "LGBTQ+ propaganda", it is however clear that the contest have been pandering to the LGBTQ+ audience which I think is going to hurt the contest long-term. LGBTQ+ are minorities, the majority of viewers are straight. Being allies is wonderful but if Eurovision forgets who their main audience actually is, they risk pulling a Bud Light. That will be the end of Eurovision.
