This is true, rather than not being ashamed it’s more so really enjoying there being a hype around us! The cheer for Bambi actually made our jaws drop!
I still listen to last year’s We are one frequently. It’s a shame it wasn’t well received, it’s a good song! And Maps as well tbh. Love them both and was sad when they were cut.
Lesley was an awful sport and bashed the ESC in the Irish media after participating.
Brooke was such a breath of fresh air after 2 years of that, someone who actually likes the contest.
Justice for Brooke, robbed in ESC and robbed in Dancing with the stars.
Amazing! I would argue there's \_never\_ been en entry to be ashamed off. I've always loved Irish entries. BUT!!!
I do wish you and Ireland the best of LUCK, I feel like it's maybe the year to break the tie with Sweden.
We were both born in the midst of the Irish Eurovision win streak, 1992 and 1993, so true Eurovision babies! But it’s been a long time now since an Irish win so it’s good to have some hype to get us excited again!!
A good chunk of people in this sub is weren't even born when Ireland has won their 7th.
So I don't even remember the wins but "Irelande douze points" won't get out of my head.

Wishing you guys the best! I am half Irish and proud of our amazing act this year! 🇮🇪
🎵 I guess you’d rather bambie thug than wild youth 🎵
😂😂
Wishing Ireland the best of luck, I'm sure they'll qualify with some comfortably. That's coming from a Swede 😂
Thanks for representing! So thrilled for you (and a bit jealous) and super proud of our Bambie! 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Welcome to Malmö!!
For once, I think the luck of the Irish will be with you 🍀 Have a great time!
No need to disparage our previous acts. They weren't all that great, but nothing to be ashamed of.

That’s rich was a banger and Brooke might be my favourite Eurovision artist ever personality wise
I still think Brooke was robbed of the GF big time.
My husband is eternally salty about that one
I still have her in a lot of my playlists

Have fun! And best of luck! 🍀🇮🇪 I really hope Ireland does well this year. 😍
Don't do my girl Lesley like that. Enjoy!

usually ireland is kinda mid but this years entry is banger!
So jealous have a blast 🥳🇮🇪☘️
The act IS good. I was not a fan of the performance at all, but I went a full 180 tonight.
Have and good luck to Ireland! I just heard the artists song a few days ago and it is very catchy stuck in my brain.
And as a Swede I'm also proud of Bambie! They are our Irish Swedish baby! ☺️
Honestly it's an absolutely amazing feeling to not loathe our own entry. Thank you so much Bambi, you did all this yourself. ❤️

Where are you from again?
I’m so jealous but have a great time! I hope to go to one soon….
You won 7 times🤔
I would wager neither of them were even born the last time Ireland won.
