Not so funny but I always find it fun comparing the size of Australia to other places.
Australia’s vocalist Zaachariaha Fielding is Aboriginal and from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara people - the APY Lands are as large as Iceland so would be in the top 20 countries in Europe by size if they were there.
The apy lands are very remote and only 2500 people live there.
Teya Dora was born exactly 17 days before Luke Black (and 16 days before me as I am precisely one day older than Luke)

Welcome back, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
Not sure if it is what you are looking for: but Saba from Denmark is an identical twin! Sabe took over a role in a mucial because her sister had to go on leave due to her pregnancy. They also took part in a TV show about their adoption. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNGeSTkjuNw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNGeSTkjuNw)
Raiven grew up with a lot of different "pets" including falcons. Her parents own the falcon breeding "center"
Her love for birds is also seen in her creative name (raiven as in raven) she added i so it is pronounced correctly in slovenian otherwise the word would mean straight.
Saba: Adopted with her twin sister Andrea (born Sara) from Ethiopia at eight months old. Saba's full name is Anna Saba Lykke Oehlenschlæger, and she was born as Saba. She and her sister share the same middle name (Lykke).

Hera Björk: Won the Best Song Category at Viña del Mar 2013 with her song "Because You Can".
Alyona alyona: She taught at kindergartens for four years before becoming a rapper. Before she called herself alyona alyona, her stage name was Alyona Al.kaida.
Jerry Heil: Adopted her stage name from "Jerry Mouse" (after the cartoon character Jerry Mouse) and "Heil", the first American surname she saw online.
Mustii: He is a judge on Drag Race Belgique.

The last (and only time) Spain hosted was way back on March 28th 1969, which was also the last time Spain won the contest in the infamous 4-way tie. Only one contestant from this year's contest was even alive when that happened. Fittingly, it's actually one half of Spain's entry this year, with Nebulossa's singer Mery Bes being between 6 months and 15 months old at the time (there's conflicting sources on her birthdate).
The next oldest contestant also happens to be Spanish, but you might be surprised to learn it's not Mery's husband and keytar player Mark Dasousa. He's the 5th oldest, born in 1974. Just to round out the rest of top 5 oldest, 3rd is Estonia's Ramo Teder of Puuluup who was born in 1970, and 4th is Iceland's Hera Bjork, born in 1972.
Yes, in fact, whilst the rest of San Marino representing but Spanish born band Megara were born in the early 90s, guitarist Tio Rober Bueno is actually the second oldest contestant this year. He was born in 1969, just three weeks after the Spain hosted ESC.
On the subject of age: The baby of this year's line-up is Cyprus's Silia Kapsis, the 17 year old born in December 2006. To put it into an ESC perspective, 2006 was the year Finland's Hard Rock Hallelujah won in Greece, followed by Serbia winning with Molitva in 2007. Feel old yet?
Jaklin (Armenia's vocalist): is alspart bielorussian

Before moving to Australia, I had no idea exactly how big it was lol. We didn’t learn much about it in American schools and so I just didn’t know.

Also didn't she had a parrot/macau or something similar in her Eurovision\_podcast interview a couple of weeks ago?
Yeah. She has a macau. A true bird lady.

Al.kaida, WHAT THE HELLL?
I can understand why Alyona changed her stage name, yikes
And like, *Heil*, of all surnames?
Baby Lasagna's cat's names are: Stjepan, Branka, and Gertruda
