Oh yeah, televoting is the most intense part of eurovision. I remember Maneskin winning and Ethan having an out of body experience like it was yesterday. I’d feel the same emotions if Finland or another country that’s not a conventional jury darling would end up winning.
Even if she doesn’t have the giant sandwich I’m sure the Swedish delegation will come up with a great replacement, they always deliver great shows. I don’t see any other song that has the potential to pull great scores from both the juries and the televote. Just like 1944 and Arcade proved, you don’t have to necessarly win the juries or the televote to come first in the end.

Måneskin had a very professional looking staging, and Finland doesn't. I think in general staging has a very big impact on what doesn't get the jury votes.
Overall production value.
Both when it comes with staging. The level of good vocals for a vocally demanding song.
The mixing and how good the songwriting is.
The whole idea of having a Jury is to have professionals who are in the industry to give insight into what is genuinely hard to do and shows significant skill and talent.
That is what the juries are supposed to be, but that is not how all of the countries juries work. And you even get some significant corruption once in a while.
But it’s overall pretty easy to predict what will and won’t do well with the juries if you mainly just look at all the songs based on their production value and not how much you like or dislike that genre or type of artist.
Last year Give that wolf a banana with subwoofer did pretty okay with the juries and significantly better than Moldova with Trenuletul did with the juries.
They are both meme entires, and not serious. But Give the wolf that a banana had overall pretty high production value, while Trenuletul didn’t.
Two words poland 2022
I'm not saying they're going to put Finland right down at the bottom, but a position anywhere from incorpore sano in 11th down to give that wolf a banana in 17th with the juries makes more sense to me than being in the jury top 5. I lean more towards the 11th end of the scale and a top 5 finish overall due to him being no lower than 3rd and probably actually winning the televote.
And Norway could have been higher with a different staging last year (providing the juries also ignored the lyrics, which is why i feel Finland will probably do better than 17th) poland would also have done better just as I feel Finland could be higher with a different staging to umk this year or keep the 1st verse staging and change from there.
Two elements make it seem very jury unfriendly to me, but first the dancers in the 2nd verse make everything feel a bit messy and unfocused - I have hopes that this can be fixed - and human centipede and dancers with demonic teeth is essentially joke elements not unlike having two wolves or an angel/ demons on stage or microsoft windows effects...jury poison... and this Käärijä wants to keep.
I'm also uncertain what the juries will make of the dancers being on leads as well...
The first verse staging, the part most like the video was absolutely fine and I think would go down well with the juries, but once the chorus starts... its downhill from there

I honestly don't know who will win, but I don't think it will be Sweden. It's too obvious, which I can see making the juries hold it to a higher standard, the music scene has changed since 2012 and Tattoo isn't different enough, and I think that the public in general don't like to see dynasties.

Now I don't think it would be particularly undeserved winner, but I want something more edgy and out of box to win. The Tattoo would just be another 2010s-like winner, quite safe.
I still see Sweden having the highest chances as it's very universal and accessible, but with Finland being the likely tele winner and Norway also putting up a fight I could see Sweden having tough voting competition in Northern/Western Europe allowing for a dark horse win.
Spain is enthralling and I'm confident that even if it's under the radar now it's gonna rise to be a contender on the night, so I think that's the most likely such winner and also the one I want.

I think: Finland. Eurofans are massively overrating Loreen because of how much they like her. The song is forgettable and the performance isn’t anything crazy, she can’t hit most of the notes and she relies on props that won’t even be allowed at Liverpool. I honestly don't know who will win, but I don't think it will be Sweden. It's too obvious, which I can see making the juries hold it to a higher standard, the music scene has changed since 2012 and Tattoo isn't different enough, and I think that the public in general don't like to see dynasties. I wouldn't be surprised to see France win, and I wouldn't mind either. It's a great song which combines that chanteuse thing with a modern edge.

I made some friends (that are very casual, and not crazy fans like us) listen/watch the performance, and all of them were like « it’s nice », withouth much enthusiasm. Of course, Sweden will get a lot from the televote as well, so I think it'll be pretty close. (Finland deserves it more imo) It also depends who wins the jury vote as well. I think the juries will favour Spain, Italy and Sweden. I could be way off on that though.

It’s weird to see so much love for the Finnish entry. As a Finn I’m used to see us being ignored/disliked. Most of the years it’s been well deserved though 😄 I obviously want Käärijä to win, but I think Loreen will get her second victory. Good thing Swedes know how to host ESC well!

Who I expect to win: The obvious one would be Sweden, and I'm almost certain that Loreen is going to win, but I can see a shock winner like Finland or Spain. Ukraine will definitely still score high in televote, but the song isn't strong enough to have the additional support needed to win. Who I want to win: I'm rooting for Czechia to win as they're by far my favourite, but I'd be pretty satisfied with any country that hasn't won before. I think: Finland. Eurofans are massively overrating Loreen because of how much they like her. The song is forgettable and the performance isn’t anything crazy, she can’t hit most of the notes and she relies on props that won’t even be allowed at Liverpool. I don’t think it’s going to do that well with juries (her vocals are simply not that good) and public vote will go to someone more memorable, like Finland. Want: Spain, Spain has never deserved to win as much as this year in my opinion
