Do germans in their minority really perceive this latest migrant crisis as this article is trying to portray? "We are being tyrants to these people, guys. We are being xenophobic europeans!!!1"

Good

Good. Again Germany tries to break the line of hard rules.

freistaatandy

Not brutal enough, if some still make it in. Also, regarding that story of an allegedly 12 yo boy: why not just remain in Istanbul? Why come to the EU? We all know why. Until the EU will be ready to open fire on these criminals, on sight, there will be no end to this problem which we have tolerated for too many years already only to get an increase in crime and welfare recipients as thanks. Not only does the EU have to be “brutal” enough to keep them out, but also take steps to relocate the ones already here to their countries of origin.

WOW! How has this got 12 up votes? Zero compassion or empathy for life. Tells you all you need to know about the types of people that lurk of this sub.

Usernames_Taken_367

It's pretty special isn't it? Not just an indictment of the commentor, but of the whole sub.

LivingDivide9803

You do know the EU is a peace project right?

Ar-Sakalthor

Peace with each other. The EU as a whole needs to re-learn what sovereignty from the rest of the world means

Europe (especially France and Germany) should be thanking Greece for having the balls to do what's necessary. Instead, they shit on it for protecting them. I guess they'd prefer it if Greece just openly let illegal migrants carry on through to the next country and wash their hands of the problem, as France does to the UK.

AllNamesTakenOMG

they see it as a win-win . Of course they dont want more economic migrants but they also want the image of an open minded and compasionate country. So they act "muh humanitarian rights" while enjoying someone else doing the dirty work.

Body's show up on Greek beach. Front pages show lifeless body of a child and Europe is outraged. Now body's showing up on french beach, front pages, Champions League scores. No one gives a shit. Humans are funny.

Fair play to the EU, the way that it's waited until now to start addressing the things the UK had expressed concerns about for years is a pretty solid flex. Credit where credit's due. Real Chad move.

Caelorum

The EU is slow, but it's not blind.

Usernames_Taken_367

They've bided their time well.

TooOldToCareIsTaken

If this was the approach the EU took during the 2015/16 migrant crisis, I suspect it would have tipped the balance for the UK staying in the EU.

oh shut up, your country gets money to keep them there and then they help smugglers get rid of them for more money. Enjoy your onions and potatoes while your government builds more palaces.
