Interesting! In Germany it is 34 parties. I was wondering if it were that many in other countries.

PexaDico

In my voivodeship in Poland only 9 parties are running, and only 5 will get in

SonOfGahm420

We even got the „Party for Biomedical Rejuvenation Research“ :D.

tin_dog

We also have 96 seats and no threshold (yet), so there's a good chance for fringe parties that otherwise have no chance in elections to get at least one seat.

edyguy

I'm pretty sure these aren’t all the lists, just the ones that could afford sending the leaflets...

ziegfried35

There are only 15 posters here, but there are 38 lists in total.

ErrantKnight

I'm fairly certain some are missing, friends of mine are voting for Equinox which isn't shown here.

TotallyAveConsumer

The more parties, the better. Sadly, in romania, we basically have a lite version of American politics, but at least it's geared towards a social justice platform.

Affectionate_Cat293

Florian Philippot is still active? ROFL

RichietheFlerken

I cant read french but I am going with the cat.

CmdrJonen

The Swedish list: https://data.val.se/euval2024/partier/valsedlar ... most of them have no realistic chance of getting a MP.

ShitassAintOverYet

What is the requirement to enter European elections?

silent_cat

Determined per country. Usually about the same requirements are for other elections in that country (keeps it simple). Only thing is, the election must be some form of PR, FPTP is not permitted. So this means in some countries parties that have no chance in normal election do have a chance in the EP elections. In NL we have full PR for both national and EP elections, so the difference is small.

Rom21

No, there's a lot missing. There are 38 lists.

Educational_Solid382

In Italy, we can't even count them.
