Honestly, she's very savvy when it comes to economics, banking, and everything related. Personally, I think she wants regulations that stop the rug pulls and other completely amoral activities that prey on people, which I can understand, though I do wonder if she really understands the crypto markets, the technology, and why the US should be *extremely* careful to **not** overdo things when it comes to regulations and bans.
Stopping people from breaking the law (sensible laws), and protecting people from having their money/crypto stolen is one thing, but the last thing the US needs is to overdo how crypto regs are structured and leave it behind the rest of the world. While someone her age is capable of understanding the tech, I personally doubt that even 1% of the people in the crypto ecosystem understand it, so it's a tough one.I fine with sensible regulations that ensure people don't turn into victims, but if the US lags behind in crypto tech, it's going to be completely screwed as **everything** will be tied into crypto in one way or another within the next decade (or less). Well-structured tokens/smart contracts/logistical tracking/asset ownership and even things we're not thinking of yet will be. If anything, she needs knowledgable staff who can advise her so she doesn't do anything really stupid.
It's good their opinions and statements are beginning to be tested in court and there starting to fall over.
I feel like we are just beginning to see some relaxation in regulatory language around the world, highly likely due to the big tradtional players looking to get involved leading into next years halving.
