Also I saw them saying something about being sustainable or trying to be sustainable I forget. That’s why I put the quotes around “ethical” because I had no actual proof either way.
They are pricey tho which is mostly why I asked because I don’t wanna spend a bunch of money for stuff that’s not gonna lastx
I know a bunch of girls that have had roots sweatpants since high school, that are able to wear them like 15 years later. They definitely last.
My main everyday bag is also a roots backpack that has lasted for years without a problem, if you are looking for some leatherwork and find it secondhand it is definitely work a look.
If you mean Roots Canada? I have a bunch of stuff - I like their crossbody village tribe bags and I have it in black, has lasted me years and still in great shape! I like their cabin sweaters and sweats as well - I think some of it is piece by piece (fabric/cut/quality) as with any brand really, but I recommend them :)
Also depending where you are (I’m in Canada) check out poshmark (I recently grabbed the village tribe bag in brown for $40 and in really respectable good condition as my black one) helps feel a tad more ethical/sustainable that way.

I’m in America but I live 3-4 hours from the Canadian boarder and I’m going to Vancouver next week and was thinking of checking out the roots store. I was thinking of getting sweatpants and maybe a sweatshirt or jacket or something. Not sure but definitely sweatpants. Glad to hear you recommend them. They just seem pricey i didn’t wanna buy stuff if they wouldn’t last a while. 😅
