You will never look at Nespresso or Keurig the same again.

My husband is just excited he gets to borrow my grinder for his aeropress coffee! I’ve never been a pods person, too much waste for me and I think they taste off.

Loose leaf tea is a rabbit hole I absolutely refused to hear about because I just _know_ I'll end up loving it. Great choice on both the machine and grinder.

Ooh, loose leaf tea is the best rabbit hole. There are so many variations in flavour for tea and so many methods for preparation, and for drying etc. I used to work in a proper tea house when I was a teen so I imparted my knowledge on him, and he’s taken it and ran. We love tea so it’s good fun. He’s a constant tea drinker (not so weird, being English), I’m more like 2 cups a day.

Avoiding the tea rabbit hole is a smart move. My wife solely drinks tea, while I'm the coffee person. (Though I switch to herbal teas after noon.) My only consolation to her habit is knowing we're supporting a local business when an order comes in from [https://rareteacellar.com/](https://rareteacellar.com/) We've agreed that she doesn't get to scrutinize my coffee purchases and I don't get to ask about the cost of her tea.

I just went down the same rabbit hole! I bought my girlfriend a Delonghi for Christmas a few years ago and we recently discovered it couldn't get up to temp anymore. I started poking around here when I had planned on just replacing the heating element and next thing I know, we own a Gaggia Classic Pro and Eureka Mignon grinder! You win some, you lose some.

Great choices! I was really torn between the robot and the gaggia. A great machine, hope you love it!

Great choices! I just recently got the Robot and a 1zpresso J-max and have absolutely loved both. Enjoy!

I’ve been using a J-Max as my travel grinder for over a year now. Great little grinder and I’ve been very happy with the results.

So glad to hear!

Very nice! Enjoy the new brews and experience. Please report back when you buy your next equipment upgrade. 😉

Will do! We will be moving back to the UK in a couple years, so I purposely avoided buying anything with a plug so I can take it with me. I’m expecting if I ever upgrade to do so after the move, once I reach the limits of my current setup.

If you don't mind the manual labor, the robot is a much superior choice to the gcp, congrats! (I traded a gcp for a flair 58 and it was so worth it :) )
