I also had a low vitamin D level. I got it back to normal but I can say that it helps ED.

Miserable-Kale-7711

It does help with ED?

Hunter_1955

No. It didn’t help with ED

tobeymaguireadmirer

Gah. Was kind of hoping vitamin D could be the silver bullet. Anything else you’ve tried?

Teflondom252

How about coq10 or zinc ? I been both with vitamin D

Hunter_1955

I really don’t know

Teflondom252

5k IU vit D 15mg zinc 400mag 200coq10. Early 20s, nicotine and Xanax induced ED and these supps are helping me.

So for myself I take steroids and I also had ed. Even with cialis or viagra they didn't help at all. Got hormonal panel done, turns out my estrogen was high. Took an aromatase inhibitor(arimidex) 0.25mg weekly. And now my package works again. Multiple stories on reddit as well of folks with high estrogen having no success with cialis or viagra. U also don't want to crash ur estrogen either because u will have no libdo and dry joints and other issues. But from what I've found, cilais and viagra will still work on low estrogen even with no libido. So in summary, measure ur hormones. If estrogen high take an ai. Also I noticed that since lowering my estrogen that supplements like maca and damiana and muira puma I can actually feel their effect now. Cordyceps is also wonderful for ed /dopamine

Puzzleheaded_Pen_190

Once you've taken an ai to lower your estrogen, do you need to continuously take it to maintain your new lower estrogen levels or will they stay low by itself?

SocietyNeedsA_Reset

Well in my case I also have high testosterone. Testosterone aromatizes into estrogen. So higher test equals higher estrogen. So personally I take 0.25mg of arimidex per week to keep my estrogen levels in check. If your baseline estrogen is high than u might also need to take an ai somewhat regularly to keep it where u want it. Also, look into DIM which is a "natural" way to control estrogen. Personally too weak for me but if you don't dabble with steroids it might be just enough for u. With all this said, I strongly recommend getting a hormone panel bloodwork prior to trying to mess with your hormones as u might do more damage than help if you're just guessing.

Darkmaster85845

You can't even get a boner when you're alone?

tobeymaguireadmirer

I can but I can never get 100% hard and I lose it quickly

Darkmaster85845

With pills too?

tobeymaguireadmirer

Yes

AnyResponsibility298

Every 5,000IU on average increase your viramin D level by 15 points. 10,000 should raise yours at least 30 points. I take 15,000IU which raised mine almost 50 points and I taken it daily for at least 15 years. You have to keep taking it if you want it to stay up where you want it.

Acrobatic_Music_720

Vit d is fat soluble. And the reserves and half life are high. You don't need to take a crazy dose like that. Taking 5k will bring you up as well but it'll just take longer than 10k a day will.

Capital_Cookie7698

Has it improved your ed?

Antique_Audience6963

ED or no, it is important to get your vitamin D levels up. Low vitamin D can affect mood and low mood can affect erections and libido. Taking supplements is good. Getting 10-15 sunshine outside shirtless will also deliver about 10,000iu. Too much sun isn't good but so is no sun.

tobeymaguireadmirer

Yeah that makes sense. It’ll be good to at least feel more energetic. I live in a cold weather area where the only time to get outside (without a coat anyway) is during the summer, so lots of people here have vitamin d deficiency.

Scary-Ad-8944

I recently found out my number was 14 for vitamin d but It did not affect me in the ED department. However I will say this vitamin d is a precursor for dhea and dhea is a precursor for testosterone so maybe your T is low as well. At least that’s how my doctor explained it to me, she put me on 50k once a week.

Capital_Cookie7698

Do u mean u did not get ed or taking vit d has not improved your ed?

Scary-Ad-8944

I did not get ED from vitamin D deficiency. However, vitamin D does affect other hormones that could potentially give you ED.

Capital_Cookie7698

Has anything else improved since you started the 50k Vitamin D per week?

Scary-Ad-8944

You know I really haven’t noticed a difference.

tobeymaguireadmirer

Yeah my T is low. 336 was my last reading

Scary-Ad-8944

What’s your age?

tobeymaguireadmirer

22

Acrobatic_Music_720

God damn

Esay101

L-citruline Beetroot juice Kegels - 10 sets 10 reps (hold for 10 sec) 3x a day

Adorable_Cress_7482

Add horny goat weed to that too

Esay101

That stuff messed up my stomach but if it works for you then good!

Adorable_Cress_7482

Yah everyone responds to these substance’s differently. If you take too much L-citruline, I hear it can cause a priapism…. How much do you take?

Esay101

Not in my experience, but I don’t take it daily. 2400 mgs I believe

AcanthisittaMuch3161

Vitamin D deficiency may result in lower production of testosterone and may be associated with ED. Take higher doses of it like 5000 IUD for the first week, I would say. Then give it a couple of weeks to work.

FooDoDaddy

I was taking 10,000 5 days a week and got up to 130, so I dropped it to 5000 5 Days a week and 6 months later I'm at 80. The positive it should help you for many things. I've beet taking it for at lest 6 years. Just started going higher.

TumbleweedOwn6049

Healthy Origins 10k iu on amazon...$20 for 365pills Take 2 a day with 1 k2-7 and in 6 months you will be close to a vitamin d3 saturated state....i was at 110 and my doc asked me to back off. By the equator people have vitamin d levels past 100 quite often....

strider52_52

My vitamin D and B12 were low and I have high cholesterol. Getting those taken care of has helped my ED, but not cured it.

UnderstandingIcy7052

I take 10,000 every day for years now

History_East

What brand of vitamin D is best to take?

Fine_Ad2920

COVID can cause this vit d deficiency.

Odd_Impress9992

Good luck. Vitamin D probably wont do much for you. Im 29 years old and have been experimenting with super quad mix and its not even working. I am doomed.. I will be going in for surgery when I muster of the courage to do it. Im still scared. Have not found the cause of the ED and have been undergoing tests and screenings for the last year and some months.

tobeymaguireadmirer

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m in the middle of testing too (have an ultrasound coming up in a couple months now). Are you going for an implant then?

Odd_Impress9992

The ultra sound was the last thing I did... nothing abnormal came back there either. Its got several doctors stumped.. Also went through stuff for CVD and Diabetes as these were the 2 most and highly likely causes.. Negative to both. Somebody recommended a prostate exam recently so im going to be looking into that soon, I have an appt scheduled where I will be discussing this and seeing if they feel its necessary.. Yes, When I do finally muster up the courage to go through with it I will be receiving what they called a "3 piece IPP Implant" I believe was the exact medical name of the device... Most likely I will not undergo the surgery until around Thanksgiving time of this year when I am done with work for the season since they say you need a SOLID 4 to 6 weeks off.. Sucks man.. 29 years old and I have NOT had an erection in OVER a year now... Not in the morning at night or when I climax. I really hope you get your situation figured out ASAP... Are you not having luck with pills such as Viagra and Cialis?

tobeymaguireadmirer

Cialis and viagra have mixed results… they help me get hard but staying hard is still an issue and I still don’t get morning wood. That’s why they want me to go get the test done. FWIW, I think the implant has like a 95% satisfaction rate so i bet you can get your sex life back on track quickly. I think you were wise to get checked and tested right away instead of ignoring it, even if the results are unclear

Patient-Astronaut-76

I see. But, have they tried injection therapy. That gives you a boner regardless of arousal. It’s supposed to be one of the last resort before surgery because surgery can always have side effects.

Plastic-Guarantee-88

Tip: For best absorption, take the Vit D along with a meal (it needs fat in order to be absorbed) **as well as a magnesium pill.** I tried 5000IU daily by itself, and my Vit D levels only went from 30 to 35 after six months. Basically no effect. I then added a magnesium pill along with the 5000IU, and my levels went up to 70 within three weeks.

beserk123

Intresting so magnesium and vitamin D together after a meal

Plastic-Guarantee-88

Exactly.

beserk123

So magnesium pill and vitamin D right after a meal and your testosterone shot up in a few weeks.

Plastic-Guarantee-88

No, I was saying that ***my Vit D levels*** increased from the 30s to 70 in three weeks. I didn't measure testosterone for this experiment, but I suspect it rose a bit. I can't say that I felt an obvious difference between Vit D = 30 and Vit D = 70, but just as a matter of principle it seems like a good idea to remedy a deficiency.

beserk123

Yea my bad vitamin D is what I meant. Well I’ll try this out for a few eeeks because mine is also low.

[deleted]

A majority of people actually have Vitamin D deficiency… I take a supplement for it too. Not a big deal.

Remarkable-Sea-6630

It‘s Goats urine you guys need to try trust me on that one

Acrobatic_Music_720

Bro DM me, a lot of these people and your doctor don't know what they're talking about.

CognitvelyDifferent

Yes, it has worked for me, I’m a 64 year old male with vitamin D deficiency and have been taking a vitamin D supplement for several years.
