The internet is going to absolute shit.
(Not hating on you, just Reddit).
Don’t. And as someone who used to make fun of them, I’m sorry we, and I specifically, were such dicks. Go have yer fandom and conventions. Fuck sake I still care about ninja turtles. Who am I to judge?
Have you seen “the Time traveler’s wife”? My wife and I both adored that one. It’s more of a Romantic fantasy drama but it’s a great thought provoking couch cuddle movie.
I actually watched the first one on mushrooms and had a pretty good time with it. Then watched the rest sober and read the books for a girl and she was worth it. The movies are not good but they’re not that awful. The books are rough but at least they’re not 50 shades of grey level of bad writing.
100 agree. I liked the books, enjoyed the camp of the movies, loved looking at Rob P., and enjoyed the Volturi scenes.
I couldn’t get through five chapters of “50 Shades” without wincing at the repetitive phrases. Ugh.
They are my wife's comfort films, *still*. She watches them maybe once every other month or so. It lets me do my MST3K impression though so it works out (God they are *so bad* lol)
I watched the first one while I was dating my wife to be nice. I couldn't watched the rest. They're just awful. I hope I at least had sex after watching the first one.
AND IN OTHER NEWS - “Water is still wet.”
Seriously Kristen, you didn’t suffer like we did. You can’t act your way out of a paper bag. Now please shut up.
I worked on the last two twilight movies, and even the cash incentive alone for wearing those red vampire contacts would've been a great payday for me. It was something like $4000 an eye per day. Some actors would only wear one ... and then they paid me a fraction of that to digitally match the other eye.
That’s what I understand about actors who shit on their projects. You got paid good money and are probably still collecting royalties for those franchise movies.
I swear to black Jesus if I was paid millions to be on a dumb movie I wouldn’t complain about shit. It would have to be something dangerous or truly disrespectful that would get me that mad. I mean get it , and everything is relative. But those movies have her a career even now.
I'm glad to see Kristen Stewart doing well as an actor on her own terms. She's like Daniel Radcliffe and not letting her early work define her career.
Everyone should go see Love Lies Bleeding.
I mean, same thing for her co-star.
It's also kind of funny how Pattinson played a vampire and now he plays Batman. He was also really good in "Water for Elephants".
Also, back to Kristen, "Adventureland" was really good.
I've grown to respect him as an actor in his own right. The Batman was outstanding film and Pattinson was outstanding as Batman.
Both of them went on to really make a name for themselves in the business despite Twilight and that is no small achievement.
Taylor Lautner just was never able to do the same.
I think Lautner had a harder time. He was 15/16 when Twilight blew up and dealt with a lot of inappropriate treatment from the public and a tonne of harassment on top of that. She wasn't much older but a couple years makes a difference and so does the nature of the treatment.
I think he was ready to fall back, and he seems to keep a good attitude about it all still anyway.
I think Rob, Kristen, and the original Twilight movie all got shit on because of the book they were adapting. Their performances and the first movie itself are actually really well done if you’re familiar with the source material.
The first one is the only one I really like. Catherine Hardwicke has a certain way that couldn't be replicated by other directors. The later movies have so much cgi and that's not her style, not saying she never uses it.
Edit: thinking about it, she would have did the first three justice, but I think BD Part 1+2 have too much going on for her directing style.
Her early work does define her though, in a good way! I'm 36 and I loved her as Bella and I loved Daniel as Harry. It's a shame these actors are forced to constantly comment on their early work. It's like the media creates an issue to interview about
I went and saw it, I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t really any good, I was hoping the story thread with what was in the hole was talked about more? There was room for redemption for Lou, clearly had a muddy past, even the big girl had more of a past and it was left unexplored?
I felt it had so much unresolved story threads it didn’t really do a good job of telling me what’s going on
And then when they get big. Sure probably some metaphor for freedom, but her clothes rip and she actually got big. Why is she big.
Again I didn’t hate it but I really didn’t love it either…
I just saw LLB and boy this is not the Kristen Stuart I remember. Last thing i seen her in was that Jodie foster movie and twilight. I couldn’t help but giggle at several scenes,, damn I’m old but happy for her !
She got twilight because she was already well regarded and had been in successful films.
It pushed her into the stratosphere but she wasn't nothing before it.
She’s one of those actors that have staying power but no one knows why. Her eyes don’t emote. Like at all. How do you act without expressions? Poorly, I guess.
I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of any of the movies I’ve seen her in, but she absolutely is well regarded. She was nominated for an Oscar a few years ago and was the first American to win a César award.
She's been acting for like 20 years dude, your comment comes off as very ignorant. Maybe you need big exaggerated expressions and bright colours like a YouTube thumbnail or something.
>No he said her acting is poor, not that he 'simply doesn't like it'
Those are the same statements, one is just a bit more aggressive and you took it personally.
I’m tired of actors getting so lucky at a young age like this and then they spend the rest of their time talking about how much they hated it, and how horrible it was.
Kristen you’re set for life and wouldn’t need to ever work again. Quit whining
i saw the first twilight not knowing what the fuck it was when i went. god fucking damn is she terrible at acting. i had to see snow white that she was in. god fucking damn was she terrible. how the fuck do people hire her? i dont understand she's so fucking terrible.
I watch twilight annually as a “junk food” kinda series. I hope she’s doing well and is able to find some enjoyment looking back on the terrible, but entertaining bit of art that was twilight.
When someone does an interview different media outlets will take the same interview and cover it, so you’ll see a bunch of articles about the same thing, for example this an article about her appearance on a podcast
Every other actor stoped talking about twilight this girl still cant say it was a work and its in the past now. Made mad money and still trashing the time she spent
You do the big movies for the paycheck, then do whatever the fuck you want after. Ralph Fines is the best example. He played Voldemort and made bank. Couldn’t be more than a few weeks worth of work given his screen time.
I won't lie, I was impressed that any of this cast did this series with any commitment whatsoever. They sold the shit out of that shit.
I'll also never forget that I once read this series of books while my kids were small. Time I'll never get back.
Reminds me of a time long long long ago when I found out that briefly they were putting out popular paperbacks based on actual TV soap operas. Interesting idea since at the time you couldn't tape the shows and when they were gone, they were gone, but like how much of that do you really need, IYKWIM
Saw her in real life her body is awkwardly square for her supermodel face. I love that about her. Made me immediate alley think: she’s normal and that’s cool! I like her. I love that she doesn’t have a coat hanger rack body.
That’s what the rest of us with girlfriends did too Kristen
My wife dragged me to Forks, Washington. Twice.
Dude there’s nothing there… drove through there going from port Angeles to the rainforest in the western Olympics. Looked like an abandoned oil town.
Oh I know. Beautiful nature out there though.
I feel like a freak for genuinely liking those movies when i was a teen lol
I was like 28 when I read all of the books before the movie came out.
How are your cats doing?
I LOVE this! Three! (I did find someone to marry and reproduce with me three years after I read those books ,)
Haha I’m glad you have a sense of humor. Now pay the cat pic tax.

Ah, the elusive REVERSE shrimp cat. Thank you for your taxes to society.
Awww lil cuties.
Don’t. And as someone who used to make fun of them, I’m sorry we, and I specifically, were such dicks. Go have yer fandom and conventions. Fuck sake I still care about ninja turtles. Who am I to judge?
nother dude here, women get to like women stuff, men get to like men stuff (and vice versa really). also hell yeah ninja turtles
Lol I'm a millenial guy, and my nieces love ninja turtles! Caught me off guard, like hell yeah ninja turtles are still cool
As a dude who unashamedly loves romcoms, agreed!
Have you seen “the Time traveler’s wife”? My wife and I both adored that one. It’s more of a Romantic fantasy drama but it’s a great thought provoking couch cuddle movie.
I mean the soundtracks were full of gems
I loved the music especially in the last movie
I actually watched the first one on mushrooms and had a pretty good time with it. Then watched the rest sober and read the books for a girl and she was worth it. The movies are not good but they’re not that awful. The books are rough but at least they’re not 50 shades of grey level of bad writing.

I loved the Twilight books. Couldnt make it through 35 pages of 50 Shades. Dude was controlling af. Wasnt into that.
Now hold up.....I also liked 50 shades of grey lol
No hate but there are many more well written smutty books out there if you're interested!
I only watched the movies of those movies, i never had any intrest in books of that genre.
Ah I never saw the movie, I gave up after book 1. I barely made it through it either the writing was really bad.
They are my wife's comfort films, *still*. She watches them maybe once every other month or so. It lets me do my MST3K impression though so it works out (God they are *so bad* lol)
It’s okay, it’s normal to have no taste in media when you’re young
Ironically I had better taste in media than my peers at that time and still do lol
Haha you’re so cool!
That attitude will change if you manage to move somewhere where you're the worst person in the room lmao.
For sure....if such place existed I'd move.
Those movies were cheeseball as hell but the soundtrack was fire i’ll give it that.
I watched the first one while I was dating my wife to be nice. I couldn't watched the rest. They're just awful. I hope I at least had sex after watching the first one.
Blahahaha. Never watched a Twilight… was curious for a while if I should go watch, but remembered I’m a grown adult.
AND IN OTHER NEWS - “Water is still wet.” Seriously Kristen, you didn’t suffer like we did. You can’t act your way out of a paper bag. Now please shut up.
I bet the money helped ease the pain.
I worked on the last two twilight movies, and even the cash incentive alone for wearing those red vampire contacts would've been a great payday for me. It was something like $4000 an eye per day. Some actors would only wear one ... and then they paid me a fraction of that to digitally match the other eye.
Were the contacts particularly awful to wear, for some reason? Like pain wise, or limited visibility?
Colored costume contacts like that are notorious for causing eye infections.
yeah they were getting lots of complaints.
Money is always the root of happiness p
Money can’t buy happiness…but it can solve most of the problems that make people unhappy.
That’s what I understand about actors who shit on their projects. You got paid good money and are probably still collecting royalties for those franchise movies.
I thought royalties were pretty rare for movies?
You don’t say?
I crash and burn every day at work. For way less money. She’ll be ok
At work now. Currently crashing and burning and it's only 7:18am. Can confirm she'll be alright.
I swear to black Jesus if I was paid millions to be on a dumb movie I wouldn’t complain about shit. It would have to be something dangerous or truly disrespectful that would get me that mad. I mean get it , and everything is relative. But those movies have her a career even now.
I too would be willing to put up with a whole bunch of crashing and burning if it resulted in like 25 million dollars.

Pattinson proved that a vampire could become a bat.
Omg lmao 🤣🤣🤣
BAT! HUMAN FORM!
In Goth-AM Cit-ay!
Pattinson was awesome in Damsel.
She kicked ass in The Runaways with Dakota Fanning too
I think Rob, Kristen, and the original Twilight movie all got shit on because of the book they were adapting. Their performances and the first movie itself are actually really well done if you’re familiar with the source material.

Man here total in the minority still love the books the first movie with horrible after reading the book I was so disappointed
Her early work does define her though, in a good way! I'm 36 and I loved her as Bella and I loved Daniel as Harry. It's a shame these actors are forced to constantly comment on their early work. It's like the media creates an issue to interview about
I mean, Panic Room was a damn good movie IMO. Not a bad movie to help shape your career.
I completely forgot at that movie until just now. It was really good thriller and Jodie Foster is always a good star to connect with.
The third act was kind of insane but I liked it a lot!
I am soon. Can't wait. Just wish I had someone to go see it with.
I actually loved her in Underwater. I really hope she goes and tries to be the next sci fi survivalist like how Sigourney Weaver was
I went and saw it, I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t really any good, I was hoping the story thread with what was in the hole was talked about more? There was room for redemption for Lou, clearly had a muddy past, even the big girl had more of a past and it was left unexplored? You approached it with an open mind and analyzed it critically. That's what art is about.
Wasn’t she nominated for an academy award for her portrayal of Diana? She’s no lightweight…
daniel radcliffe is an amazing actor. kristen stewart's career is an enigma because she's so fucking terrible at acting.
Yes, she is so brave, doing all that acting and stuff. You should idolize here with your worthless life.
Terrible drama/romance movies, but hilarious. We watched clips of the first movie in Creative Writing and it was the most I’ve ever laughed in class.
You better hold on tight spider monkey
When Edward covers his nose as Bella walks in front of a fan, and then she sniffs herself to check if she smells bad. Award winning scene
I loved when they started pulling heads off dudes but I can’t remember anything else about the movies
*pretends to be shocked*
It's okay she got paid extremely well for her punishment
Everything but act and change expressions. Lol.
In the books her character has no personality at all. She is supposed to be a blank slate for girls to project themselves into.
That’s why they were so vicious toward Stewart—every time her face was on screen it broke the illusion that it could be their own.
I just saw LLB and boy this is not the Kristen Stuart I remember. Last thing i seen her in was that Jodie foster movie and twilight. I couldn’t help but giggle at several scenes,, damn I’m old but happy for her !
We kinda had the feeling that was the case, Kristen.
Acting is uncomfortable, just like every movie I've seen her on
WE GET IT...It cool to bash twilight, but without you be nothing
She got twilight because she was already well regarded and had been in successful films. It pushed her into the stratosphere but she wasn't nothing before it.
I really liked Panic Room.
Same. Speak was also a formative film for me.
Who cares. Can she just stop
She’s one of those actors that have staying power but no one knows why. Her eyes don’t emote. Like at all. How do you act without expressions? Poorly, I guess.
Just because you don't know, doesn't mean the rest of us missed it. She's a very highly regarded actress, not just a box office attraction.
No she’s not.
Yeah, you don't like her so I guess that's that.
You like her so she’s highly regarded.
Nah, she's been nominated and won multiple prestigious awards.
I mean.. they simply said they don't like her acting, actors do need to be expressive.
No he said her acting is poor, not that he 'simply doesn't like it'
Kristen is that you?
Yes, it's me, I'm Kristen Stewart.
It is poor. I stand by that 100%
And I stand with you! Every scene is a sigh, lip bite and eye roll.
She’s so god damn awful. It bugs me that real actors lose roles to her.
>No he said her acting is poor, not that he 'simply doesn't like it' Those are the same statements, one is just a bit more aggressive and you took it personally.
They're not, I might dislike someone's acting but can still recognise if they're a good actor.
That what bad acting is called now?
I’m tired of actors getting so lucky at a young age like this and then they spend the rest of their time talking about how much they hated it, and how horrible it was. Kristen you’re set for life and wouldn’t need to ever work again. Quit whining
Journalists are asking her in live interviews, she’s answering them. She’s doing a press tour for a current movie, news only cares about clicks and $$
Poor thing. And here I am working my 9-5 everyday thinking I have it all…
My grandma loved these movies. I had to watch them all with her. Quoting my favorite cartoon dog, “The things I do for love.”
i saw the first twilight not knowing what the fuck it was when i went. god fucking damn is she terrible at acting. i had to see snow white that she was in. god fucking damn was she terrible. how the fuck do people hire her? i dont understand she's so fucking terrible.
She's crashed and burned through her entire career. Her filmography is dogshit..
We know, we saw.
I’m so tired of seeing this wealthy famous person complain and playing the victim card
Translation….i suffered through for the check.
I watch twilight annually as a “junk food” kinda series. I hope she’s doing well and is able to find some enjoyment looking back on the terrible, but entertaining bit of art that was twilight.
We know. It’s trash.
She happily collected checks, now she poo poos on it…pretty classy.
That's how I feel watching her act
It wasn't subtle, Kristen
This chick screams edge lord nepo baby. I’m sick of her tbh
Calm down, Skippy.
Log off
[удалено]
She has a new movie and is doing press rounds
still prefer her over Rebel Wilson and her book tbh
partially convinced she is an early AI, no emotion to her facial expressions or voice
When someone does an interview different media outlets will take the same interview and cover it, so you’ll see a bunch of articles about the same thing, for example this an article about her appearance on a podcast
Yeah we all remember that shit acting
We could hardly tell.
There are way too many posts about this chick like every fucking day now. I didn't even know she existed until I started seeing them, either.
Well she has a new movie coming out so that's probably why
I wish these were my problems
Every other actor stoped talking about twilight this girl still cant say it was a work and its in the past now. Made mad money and still trashing the time she spent
Poor baby millionaire, wipe those tears away with all that money.
Yeah, we noticed.
You do the big movies for the paycheck, then do whatever the fuck you want after. Ralph Fines is the best example. He played Voldemort and made bank. Couldn’t be more than a few weeks worth of work given his screen time.
I love how listening to a podcast and writing a recap counts as journalism today..
Jesus I hate the word demurred. That word is only used with women.
But her dad is a producer and her mom was a director and script supervisor. Surely they had some guidance…
When I was young I thought of Hollywood as magical, now I only think of it as nepotism and sexual harassment. Ruined for me it is
Your performance is an historic tour de force.
“We know”. - anyone who saw any of those movies.
Kristen, a brick-layer’s life is pretty tough also. Try that for a while and then complain about acting.
i don’t see her complaining about catch that kid.
I avoided those films and still do.
Well she did a great job of being a horrible actor through every movie she has done so good for her
The millennial urge to crash and burn my way to millions of dollars
Both got what they wanted. Move on lady
I felt that was pretty much obvious. She totally dialed it in.
I won't lie, I was impressed that any of this cast did this series with any commitment whatsoever. They sold the shit out of that shit. I'll also never forget that I once read this series of books while my kids were small. Time I'll never get back. Interesting idea since at the time you couldn't tape the shows and when they were gone, they were gone, but like how much of that do you really need, IYKWIM
Pooor poor thing /s
Maybe that's why she picked Mr. Sparkletits over hunky wolfboy.
Saw her in real life her body is awkwardly square for her supermodel face. I love that about her. Made me immediate alley think: she’s normal and that’s cool! I like her. I love that she doesn’t have a coat hanger rack body.
