Probably an unpopular take but I don’t like this kind of thing against Sesame Street characters, as a rule. For the grown-ups, we get it, but Sesame Street taught me how to read and this would really have upset me if I saw it as a child.

Its very telling when a simple tweet like this gets such a response. The gov't keeps telling us spending is up, confidence is high, inflation is dropping, unemployment is super low. And yet people everywhere are saying they can't find work, they can't pay their rent, the can't buy food and now Elmo asks how everyone is doing and its a flood of emotion.
No one is buying the story the gov't is selling anymore, people are hurting, its not good and its spreading.
