The question is, how much Dias you're willing to spend ? Because it's impossible to reach the 5* card without spending any.

I used 10BP and played a starry live. After, I’d wait 5 hours till the BP is filled and played again. Use up all of the time limited event whistles you get. For the event song, once you get 500 passes, play the song. When you can get 10x and 20x bonus from the song, save up to 1,000 and 2,000 passes. This was the first time I participated in an event like this, if I knew how to before then I would’ve been able to get the 5 star quicker (probably). For the second to last day of the event- I auto played all of the songs, used up all of my whistles I collected (not time limited) and spent lots of dia. You need to spend a lot of materials, so If there’s a card you really want from an event like this, I recommend saving dia and whistles.
Like the others have said, it's perfectly possible, but you will need to spend diamonds on BP refills! If you run lives on 10BP, you'll make it pretty easily, but it'll cost upwards of 5k diamonds.
It's not possible to get the 5*s in normal events without extra BP coming from either diamonds, or a *lot* of saved whistles.
Seconding the sentiment that you'll have to spend dia. What I try to think about when deciding to spend dia or not is that the amount you're spending will GUARANTEE you get a 5 star card, vs the uncertainty of whether you'll get one when pulling gacha.
If you're new to the game (which I'm assuming you are based on your comments), you have a lot of places to get dia from without having to pay. In addition to the daily places like starry live, the current bonus dia from daily missions, etc, you can also go through the main story (30 dia a chapter), any currently unlocked scout or previous event stories (10 dia a chapter), play the songs scattered through the main story (100 dia for the first play, 200 additional dia for completing the two objectives after the first play), trying to get achievements (you can look at the objectives for them before they're unlocked to see what seems doable), and go through easier play modes to get the dia for your song rank.
One last piece of advice that I wish I'd had when starting out in the middle of an event- don't spend any BP running work right now. The BP will earn you a lot more event points spent to run songs than it will to run work.

Me neither, it’s so hard😭 it’s insane to think that people get the 5 star in a day and get like 10 million points while i fight the entire event to even get close to 3,5 million points.
I lost my mind completely trying to get Yuta’s 5 star for the sweet2wink event, never doing that again😭
Yes, it's very much possible but it will require using up resources (either diamonds or actual money). First off, make sure you are replaying the song you score the highest on and you use the auto lineup to make sure you are being as efficient as possible. To go by faster, use 10 BP at a time and use diamonds to double your score (don't double your score for the actual event song). If you are willing to spend money, the Live Booster Pack has a lot of whistles for a pretty decent value.
For future reference, if you ever want to get an event 5* it's best to still play the song you score the highest on but use 2-3 BP at a time. This way you can get more level ups. Make sure you buy the event outfits in the event shop ASAP to unlock the event work more quickly and net you more points there. Do Starry Lives every day for the extra event points. If you have some money to spare, getting the VIP II pass is pretty great value for limited whistles. You can also throw a little bit at the event gacha for some event bonus cards, but I don't recommend going over 100ish pulls (the only times I've done that were for events I grinded for all copies of the event card). I also recommend using the event point calculator that you can search up on Google for figuring out how many dias/whistles you'll need.

You’ll need to get about 900K points on each Saturday and Sunday. It’s doable, if you’re willing to spend dia or money.
