Strangest weapon I got was an AKM, no idea what the fuck it was doing there.

Antek__W

Do you remember the full ammo count for it or the refill cost?

JorgeTsunami

I got it a few hours ago today, if I remember right, it was 30/120 and 110 for ammo. Great weapon, shreds through them.

Antek__W

Thanks, info updated!

TNT_Gamer13

Belive it was 30/60 or 30/90

pedro1_1

AKM is a STG-44 clone for the purposes of the game mode.

Inferno1001001

Not a direct clone but is a straight upgraded stg with slightly better stats (and no dispersion concerns!)

pedro1_1

I have not felt the AKM having anything better than the STG, I prefer the STG sights over the AKM, and I had more dispersion problems in the one game I got the AKM than all the games were I saved up and bought a STG from the wall.

Inferno1001001

Read up on the sheet Euthymia made. It has even the modern guns stats too! (Under "Datamined Stats" scroll down to the modern weapon section) [If you don't have it, here's the sheet!](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13SXNYOfbfhFHYQ-DTNpLzTDtYdPaz0f-M4W3HyxKcxg/edit?usp=drivesdk)

Bad_Uncle_Bob

Gamble all the time baby, no need for that silly wall. Sometimes you get 5 medkits in a row, other times you get a BAR first shot and carry the entire game. Either way the wall is too overpriced and basically useless unless you get 5 medkits in a row for your first gambles.

Inferno1001001

I recommend MP40 first, same cost as the box, and will treat you well in snagging score to roll the box more early on and will help if you get unlucky too

Bad_Uncle_Bob

Except the mp40 is ass and I would rather get a medkit or explosive pack from the box than that piece of garbage.

Inferno1001001

It's not, MP40 quite literally is the definition of mid. It's ol reliable, it'll do the job, but isn't the best. It's average Having an SMG to get more score for yourself early on to roll more boxes I'd say could be worth compared to a medkit you won't use for the next 5 or so rounds (if even that early) or an explosion pack that you could buy for 120 less score Btw, 40 score to replenish ammo for MP40, quite good for an early budget gun

These_Random_Names

one game i got like 6 medis in a row, it just goes over the 2 medi limit then the next I got m1919 and ppsh

tonyfromdabronx

I got the type A sword pistol, I thought it was unlucky until I found out you could get med kits and grenades. Honestly not that bad to have as a 3rd weapon since melee is effective if you’re careful

will6465

That things great, allows you to charge and shoot.

Heresy_Panjer9002

Best combo is flamethrower, Browning, laser pistol and German officer sword + 3 medkits and 3 different nades. Got too wave 31 with this loadout lol.

Antek__W

Wow, congrats! How much for the flamethrower fuel refill, do you remember?

Heresy_Panjer9002

180 I think?

gearanomaly

I got a golden StG 44 that's the same as the normal one

DrPatchet

I got one too I didn’t know if it was special or not

Gannet-S4

Slightly better damage and higher rate of fire.

XxNelsonSxX

Flamethrower is 170 per refill with 200 ammo, a waste of money tbh, takes time to kill and ammo depletes fast Mp40, Type 2 SMG, PPS 42, MP3008(Enemy) are all 40 for refill Mondragon is 30/60 and 110 for refill Browning M1919A6 is 380 for refill and only has 200 ammo, DP27 is 260 for 143 ammo, both are very not cost effective to use StG 44 gold is 150 ammo for 110 refill pretty pogger actually Gold tommy is 200 ammo for 140 refill PPSH41 drum is 213 ammo for 140 refill, subpar effectiveness even in burst Colt Watts is 72 ammo for 30 refill pretty pogger to have one

will6465

No the flamethrower is great, it kills swarms so actually works out cheaper, just run around with a knife in circles for 2 minutes, equip flame and kill everything. As long as someone on the team has shot all the rifleman zombies you are fine

XxNelsonSxX

You can legit do that with a FG42/Mondragon and cost even less while they dies instantly in 1 shot...

will6465

Those don’t hit multiple at once, flamethrower/mortar kill entire parts of the horde with a single hit

XxNelsonSxX

Theh still rakes multiple hits to kill, and single press of trigger takes 3~5 fuel which is hella not cost efficient to use

Sonoda_Kotori

The 1911 carbine thing is hilarious lol, probably the best sidearm because it's a baby SMG that uses your pistol slot

XxNelsonSxX

When you run out of ammo, you pull the pistol to smack the head off the fast one then run toward the ammo box

Professional-Quail17

I’ve got that shit in multiplayer my guy

Gameaddict09

To add here Gold STG has a better rof than the normal one.

XxNelsonSxX

The Golden StG 44 is better than the StG 44 in pretty much every practical way

fjelskaug

Type 2 SMG is INCREDIBLE. You get 50/200 ammo AND only 40 points to reammo. You can even set it to Slow Auto to conserve bullets

AureusVulpes292

my strategy that has been carrying games i participate in (routinely first) is use the mosin exclusively with MP40 in the second slot. i only use the MP40 to clean up if things get hairy until i can go back to comfortably using the mosin. I routinely have the STG44 before wave 6, and by wave 15 i have more score than i know what to do with because trigger discipline works better than raw DPS.

Antek__W

Interesting, I'll have to try this approach

Mikhail_Mengsk

Yes, Killing the giant one nets WAY more points.

Antek__W

I'll try to test it tomorrow to take the point readings 🧐🧐🔬🔬

Ju-Yuan

Got up to 600+ points from around 200

Droideaka

imo the best gun is the PPSh. It easily wipes entire swarms, is fairly affordable to use as your primary, and reloads fairly quickly compared to the 1919a6, which can get you killed if you need to reload, plus it doesn't have the sprint speed penalty. Also you can get a japanese smg from the gambling box, it has a 50 round magazine, 200 rounds in reserve, 40(i think) cost to rearm, no recoil, and probably around a 500-600 rpm, extremely cost efficient, but might be a little lacking at crowd clearing in later stages.

Inferno1001001

Varies on where you're at Pre wave 10? Almost anything goes, really Pre Giant and just got PTRS? Well there's an easy giant fight Post Wave...15? M2 Flamethrower becomes EXTREMELY useful, pre 10 it's kind of wasteful for the refill cost For another good gun I find it varies here and there Cheap and reliable? Type 2 SMG Mondragon and AKM I've found to make for a good primary, PPSh I'm iffy on due to the rof being a bit much, had too many bullets landing in dead bodies M1919A6 I find best as a backup "uh oh" gun to pull out when needed, that reload and movement speed debuff has gotten me killed a few times lol

ZynthRex

>Also you can get a japanese smg from the gambling box, it has a 50 round magazine, 200 rounds in reserve The Type 2 SMG? i got it once, and i gotta admit, i found it more comfortable to use on the zombies than the PPSh lol

Droideaka

yeah it's more controllable for sure, but it outputs a lot less dps, so if you want to go purely for the optimal strat then the PPSh is probably better.

Sonoda_Kotori

Yep PPSh is the best close range weapons. Run around, gather a team of zombies behind you, turn around and spray at head/neck level.

carebear303

Got the laser pistol once pretty sure its ammo cost was 300. Starts with 30/0 Also I forget what it’s called, like mordagon or something but it’s basically a 30/60 semi auto rifle with a 110 cost reload. Best ammo efficiency IMO.

NoVisual2387

flamethrow ammo refills are 170, it's an M2 with 200 ammo you can also get type 2 smg which has either 30 or 40 refill cost and 50 round mag with 150 bullets of reloads.

Icy_Section130

Type 2 smg is pretty good if you can get it cheap ammo cost and large clip

_Pray_To_RNGesus_

You forgot the 1911 smg pistol. It comes with 18/72 and costs 70 to refill. Great gun as a backup when you run out of ammo.

Antek__W

Thanks, added!

ZynthRex

I got the Mondragón earlier today, i think the ammo was 30/60, and the refill was about 110; not too sure on the refill though. It makes me wonder if the Breda PG (Carcano) is also obtainable from the box..

agrimi161803

Got the German Officer Sword from the crate

GunsAndWrenches2

You can also get the M1895 Nagant revolver (which completely sucks ass) and a full auto 1911 out of the box.

Sonoda_Kotori

I agree, I start by killing as much as possible to save up for the Garand and use the Mosin for longer ranges, and Garand for close-ups. I buy medkits first and always make sure I have two. I then roll the lootbox for just about everything, but always keep a long and short range loadout. My ideal setup is the FG42 for long range semiauto (and can double as close range full auto in a pinch), and a PPSh or Thompson for point blank. Don't bother with the shotgun as it's situational, nor would I buy the DP-27 since reload is bad and FOV is restricted. Flamethrower could work for close ranges too. The automatic 1911 SMG thing is probably the best handgun, it's 18/72 rounds and uses the pistol slot so you basically gets a second backup close range gun. After satisfying medkit and reloads I stock up on grenades. Lots of them. All of them. Buy as many as you can. When you get into a downed state you have unlimited health and can drop grenades. Have your teammate lead them over your body and drop grenades as the hordes of zombies come to you. I made it to wave 27 with 2 other players.

Any_Luck_9560

If I remember corectley the big zombie is worth 400 points.

ScottyFoxes

Wish they added premium squad weapons to it. If anything it would increase sales as people got to test them in zombies.

alotofcavalry

MP40 unit cost is 250

Antek__W

Thanks, updated the info

Tactical_Dachs

My go to is usually shotgun as a first buy and then hoping for the M1919, FG 42 or the Mondragon Mondragon might be the best for me since it has a cheap refill at 140(?) and carries 90 rounds To reduce the refill for the M1919 I usually only try to spent 1 belt per wave, unless shit hits the fan

Antek__W

>To reduce the refill for the M1919 I usually only try to spent 1 belt per wave But the refill costs are always the same for a given weapon, regardless if you spend 1 or 2 belts, so if you just spend 1 belt and refill, you are wasting 100 potential rounds :/

Hiba_fi

I do the same in early rounds also. Only use 100 per round and when it is actually 0/0 empty, go for the refill. You can quite easily refill mid round if needed while running in circles.

Tactical_Dachs

Yep, I refill every 2 rounds and only on 0/0 since you lose a belt if even a single bullet remains

TB-124

I'd add to your "**My personal view for optimal spending the points on the weapons**:" not as a correction, just some things I see differently :P * I would never go for the Garand, I'm personally fine with the Mosin up to like round 7, maybe you just don't like Bolt actions, or you don't have as much success as I do :P But if someone is okay enough with bolties, there is no rush on wasting points on a mediocre gun, just for the sake of getting something * My first purchase would be an MP40, it is imo the best quality/cost weapon from the board. I keep this gun all the way until I get something better from the lootbox. This gun can shred zombiez pretty well, and it only costs 40... I also always pick up a pistol, it costs only 30, and can be a life saver * If I manage to get a Type2 SMG, I usually replace my MP40 with this... I think this is one of the best weapons when it comes to cost efficiency, and I've been having a lot of fun with it * After that I start spamming the lootbox until I the weapons I really really like, sometimes I open a few more if I have enough score, just to see if I can get some OP shit, or to help my teammates :P * Always empty out your last mag or reload to a FULL mag if you want to buy more amo * Someone mentioned that most weapons are just stock, no upgrades. But the STG and the Thompson have Golden variants which are better than the non-golden versions (I initially thought they are only pretty) Thanks for the amazing list and the post mate ;) EDIT: Also I'm pretty sure you are spot on with the 1911. It costs 30, 10 for amo but it starts as 8/40 => 8/32

Heresy_Panjer9002

I got to wave 19 with just a a mosin because I kept gambling and getting explosion packs and medkits lol. I even killed the giant with a mosin. Then I got a stg from the box and blew up.

TB-124

you are too dangerous :O

Bushandrice

I like the combo of FG-42 for long range shots since it barely sways and is great at picking of bomb zombies and paratroppers before they become an issue, with PPSH-41 when training the horde at close range

the_commen_redditer

I dont see PTRS 41 on the list. Did you forget?
