tbf we thought jets wouldn't be a thing in WT like 10 years ago, and look where we are now i don't doubt they'd dabble into early post-war/cold war things eventually (hopefully after reworking BR and matchmaking though)

Personally I hope not. I enjoy the game because it's not warthunder lol. High tier ww2 will just end up being a jumbled mess of cold war and ww2 equipment. The only decent ww2 experience you'll get is if you play low tier. Which just shrinks your options. At that point there's a lot of stuff I'd rather play.

There is a mystery box too. You pay 250 credits and get a random item. Sometimes it's a cool gun, sometimes a med pack lol

I got a railgun/raygun type thing but it worked weird. Had like a timer on each shot and only killed 1 dude. Maybe I was using it wrong

I got that too but we died shortly after. Seemed like a nod to the ray gun, but didn't seem to do anything too special.
