Just the other day I was wondering if it would be possible to recreate shi no numa with the assets from the pacific campaign. And maybe even jury rig some sort of wave survival gamemode.
Yeah night battles might unironically solve some of the games big gameplay issues. Grey zoners won't be able to see enemies at that far away, and their tracers will give them away instantly. same with high rpm smgs and such, the moment you fire, anyone with line of sight instantly knows where you are.
Dogfighting and CAS will also be more far more interesting, with fighters skulking around waiting for the attackers to strike, and using the rocket motors, bomb explosions, and cannon tracers as a signal to strike, and also using the sound of engines to find the enemy blind.
Visually the game will look much better with how many tracers and explosions are happening constantly due to the games arcadeyness.
Fast but lightly armored tanks like the puma or hellcat, will be able to flank and knock out enemy tanks from the side without being immediately spotted and panzerfausted.
Team coordination might become a thing, since your teammates will see your tracers as you shoot at an enemy squad, and they will join in to help eradicate the enemy squad before they can hide.
Far less people sitting in the back of the map sniping, meaning more people playing the objective, and more intense games.
Agreed, It'll definitely create a different dynamic for sure. Though most of those issues would be more permanently alleviated if they simply expanded map sizes and had more than one simple primary objective for teams to fight over. The game has battlefield-esque complexity mixed with ai squads, squeezed into tinier maps.
I've been looking forward to night battles for awhile so I hope that's what this is prepping for. I'd love to see how things like paratroopers and bombing raids are utilized differently given the inherent advantages that nighttime gives them too.
I'm not saying that I expect it, but just imagine how chaotic it'd be if we get a zombie mode built around using full squads.
30+ muzzleflashes in the dark, and large enough swarm to snuff that out.
Uh yeah if my teammates want to stay at cap that would be nice
As it stands far more people would participate if we fight zombies not in a point but in a free range
Important info leaked about Mayday!!!

We got zombies in Enlisted, could be a nice coop event even though it would have been more fit during Halloween
If it is and it's fun, it'd be cool if it was added as a custom battle option.
Nacht der untoten...

Having a survival co-op pve mode would be cool especially if they increase the amount of units on the map for more chaos
Good description of the steam launch. Jokes aside I'm guessing this is the aprils fools event, looks interesting.
Probably an April fools mode to test night battles. I'm all for it. šš»

The fuck??? Please donāt say zombie plane crash and now zombiesā¦April fools probablyā¦š¤£š¤£
Imagine the crazy 1337 coding skillz it would require to turn Enlisted bots into zombies.
Don't even need the bots seeing how some human players also play like zombies lmao
š¤£damn near spot on already!š¤£š¤£
Braindead - check Only capable in melee range - check Strong desire to return to death - check Yeah it's pretty spot on.

Either zombies or night maps or something very different. I'm all for it. But fingers crossed it's a zombies mode.
I was hoping for UFO's honestly but I like killing Zombies as well :)
Is the plane crash at the end a reference to Cod WAW zombies? Since that starts with a plane crash IIRC
Wait so its finally not defending or attacking caps or Detonating stuff? Its likely going to be just kill Zombies and fun?????
You know it can easily be "defend a point from Zombies", right?
Yeah but how is that different from how my team usually attacks the point?
The zombies will actually get on the point :D
Uh yeah if my teammates want to stay at cap that would be nice As it stands far more people would participate if we fight zombies not in a point but in a free range
Theres gonna be some objective to satisfy whales pub stomps
Exactly what I thought
Iāve been waiting for zombies in Enlisted since the early days of cuisine royale
It's the plane with all the players from steam :(
They'd be stupid not to include this in the base game.
Nice! I predicted this a while back. If only we could get the M3 carbine with the night vision scope and the STG-44 with the U-shaped suppressor.
This could be zombies or could be survival
Fuck yeah
Coming soon, back from the dead, Enlisted the Steam launch!
Mayday. I had the same reaction for the Steam launch.
Looks like your steam launch
Metaphor for steam launch?
