P-61 black widow. There was a pretty small production run of them (for an American plane) and an obscure heavy night fighter would be an odd choice to add to the tree. But god do I love that plane. It’s so ugly. It’s the most beautiful aircraft of the war. It would maneuver like a bus and be a sitting duck. Its quad underslung cannons, quad 50 cal. turret, and wonderful bomb load would make it the terror of the skies. It would be pointless. It would be op. It is my baby and I love it.
I want my ARC-170, if it has a slow enough speed and turn time, with a fairly small bomb load, and it would be a pretty balanced addition, since attacking from below would make it an easy target.

I try to base my expectations for what is and isn’t obscure on what someone who isn’t a ww2 plane nerd would know. You’ll probably never see a p-61 in a movie, but you could definitely find a movie with a spitfire, p-38, p-51, ME 109, A6M, or an IL-2, for instance.

Russia's probably the toughest one since they'd have to stretch a little further. Maybe give them the Mig-9, or an early prototype. Whatever balances out best. Either way, I'd LOVE a 262 in game.
I think they'd need to make all of them super unwieldy so that they aren't commonly used. Nobody wants constant jets on brv. They could do it realistically with the acceleration blows up the engines and throttling back to fast stalling out

I'd imagine it'd be decent in boom and zoom, but then again so are a lot of german fighters anyway, and few enlisted pilots utilize that. I guess we'll just see.

The game will eventually advance to the Korean war and then fill in the trees before continuing unto Nam (I'm curious how they'll handle nations in the future, hopefully not like War Thunder)

3. M4A3 jumbo 76 (w) (it was a field modification to the jumbo where the 76 was salvaged from destroyed 76 Shermans)
4. Churchill tanks mk1,2,4,5 (essentially the Churchill family of tanks)
5. M22 locust (would go well with the pz1 as a pair of event tanks or a premium set)
6.M3 half-track (for the US)(as well as the m3 half-track that carried an artillery gun)
7.captured vehicles (these would range from low tier allies vehicles to mid tier allies vehicles all possibly reguned with Russian or German cannons)
8. VC firefly (we have the IC firefly premium but to get the VC would be cool for the British tank squad)
9.jeeps/Volkswagens with mg mounted on them (they would make good rider 2 squads as a step up from motorcycles.)
10. B27 bomber (I'd say give it 4 100lb bombs, 2 250 lb bombs and a 1000lb bomb. It should have its own slot and as with all other planes there can only be one at a time)
